I received my additional accessories for my existing Megan board game table just recently. It has the same perfect quality as the table and makes it even better now.

I ordered the Megan 2.0 table on Kickstarter. After a long wait and minimal communication, it finally arrived. Initially, I was pleased with it. However, after about two to three months, I noticed strange holes in one of the top boards, accompanied by sawdust. I promptly sent them an email with photos.

It took over a month for them to respond. Only after I shared my issue on Reddit and their Gamefound and Kickstarter pages and then they finally acknowledge it.

They explained that the holes were a “human error” and promised to send me a new board, even offering compensation for my inconvenience.

Despite their promises, it took them another three to four months to deliver the new board. During this time, I discovered that the holes were not a “human error” but rather caused by woodworms living in my table.

I repeatedly contacted them about this matter, but they consistently ignored my concerns and provided inadequate explanations.

I strongly advise against purchasing a table from Geeknson. They are one of the worst companies I’ve ever dealt with. Their lack of customer care, delayed responses, and deceitful practices are unacceptable.

One of the best buying experiences ever. Would defenetly buy from here again.

Excellent craftsmanship, great fitters, all-in-all very impressed.

We just had a large Henry delivered, and my wife and I both agreed it surpassed our expectations -- both in terms of game-playing functional design and furniture quality. We are older (nearing retirement age) and have accumulated some very nice furniture at this point in our lives. We are avid board gamers, so this was a hobby luxury we wanted, even if the quality was not going to be at the same level as other items in our house. Happily, the quality of this table is excellent.

In terms of design, we are everything about the table is well thought-out. For my war gaming needs, the ability to place a large paper mat under the plexiglass is a huge feature (and one that steered us toward Geeknson in the first place). The felt insert can actually be placed above the plexiglass level, so I can keep a long-running wargame going beneath it and set the table up for play with friends when we are doing social gaming. And the table looks great when the leaves are in to turn it into a regular table.

The customer service has been amazing. We had some uniquely stained cherry chairs that we wanted to use with the table. Terry and the team worked with us on color matching, and even sent us stained wood samples to make sure the table stain would work. It looks great with the chairs.

Finally, we opted to wait for their own people to deliver and set up the table. My understanding is that they send shipments when they have enough completed tables to fill a container. We couldn't get on the delivery schedule of their drivers the first time, so we waited for the next shipment. For us, it was worth it. The delivery was made by two Polish guys who actually work for Geeknson and come here (the US) to make deliveries. They were excellent and had the table set up very quickly and professionally.

If having a luxury piece of gaming furniture is your dream, you can't go wrong working with Geeknson!

Sehr kompetentes Team, wenn irgendwelche Fragen meinerseits waren wurde mir in wenigen Minuten eine Email gesendet. Lieferung war Klasse und wurde schnell zusammen gebaut. Bin extrem zufrieden mit meinem Bristol Tisch und würde es jedem weiterempfehlen. Man sollte sich jedoch sicher sein, da dass trotz allem ein teurer Spaß ist.

Just got my new table excellent delivery and it's beautiful.

I'm using my G&S table for several months now and I'm completely satisfied by this Megan model. Quality build, easy to use and fully equiped, it's a pleasure to welcome friends, have dinner and play on this table.
The team who came at home to mount it was very nice, efficient and open to my remarks.

I worked with Terry to design my custom game table. He was easy to work with, has excellent knowledge of the product line, and quickly responded to all of my inquiries. Seeing the tables at Pax Unplugged convinced me this was my dream table. The table was delivered 6 months later and set up in a matter of minutes, The delivery crew was knowledgeable, and had no problem hauling the huge table to my second floor game room. A+++ service all around

Very friendly staff who were happy to help out. They even gave me advice on how to assemble my table because I chose to built it myself. There were no issues with finding my location, which was nice because Google Maps generally sends people in the wrong direction.

Friendly staff. Delivery drivers moved the table to an upstairs room without issue and were really helpful throughout.

Purchased via Kickstarter/Gamefound.

Ordered the standard Megan Long with leaves, eco-rustic paneling and pure colour as well as a leaf box. One piece royal blue fabric inset.

Table was delivered via courier to Finland. Everything went well, but requires some essential tools to unbox and clean up after the delivery (large pallet + wooden box). Packing was done really well and safe, everything arrived in one piece and without damage.

Quality of the table is great, which it should be at its price point. Great finish, eco-rustic looks a lot better than in the images, and will be more sustainable and warp less in the future.

Already on day two the table was tested for its moisture proof technology, as our toddler spilled milk over it. We followed the instructions regarding cleaning so there was no spilling inside the vault. Otherwise just get a cover for the table for whenever family members that are more prone to accidents show up ;)

Leaf box is smaller than I imagined and therefore does not take up that much space, and it holds its own with other wooden furniture.

Only thing I can criticize is that nothing resting on the guardrails in the vault can be kept in its place in case you cover the vault with the leaves. Maybe this could be an improvement for Megan 3.0.

If I have the disposable income and a bigger house in the future, I would consider buying again, and probably the Crown or one of the diamond shaped alternatives.

The table is what I expected to be. I love this new addition to my living room. I love this table. It’s big and I can play many games on it. This is my second table that I purchase. I’m very pleased with this company.

The purchase of a Megan Medium gaming table through Kickstarter last year was a big step. The table, plus add-ons, VAT, delivery and assembly totalled £2500.

However, with the Geeknson team having just left after delivering and assembling the table, I am very pleased with it.

The table is solidly constructed and finished to a very high level. The detachable leaves fit snugly, both as the surface of the table, and in the under-table stowage. The accessories fit the external metal rail very well, and - again - are solidly constructed.

The inner fabric insert is an excellent gaming surface, and should minimize the 'slither' of components.

The stretch goal acrylic accessories fit the inner rail well, and are easily moved around. The inclusion of a leaf with 4 shallow indents in it means that too can be used to store components when gaming, then flipped back to its plain side when being used as a dining table.

The Kickstarter/Gamefound campaign was well run, with frequent updates on manufacture and delivery. My delivery email was addressed correctly, but ended up in my spam folder, where I failed to realise it had been delivered. However, after a few days, I received a phone call from the delivery team, clarifying everything that they'd asked in the email, and there was no delay in getting the table.

The whole experience with Geeknson has been a pleasure - I wish more crowdfunding campaigns were like this! While I don't see myself ordering another table from them, I will keep an eye out for any new useful accessories which they offer.
