My family had become increasingly interested in board games, so we decided to purchase a dedicated board game table. After extensive research I settled on the Geeknson Denis table because it fit what I was looking for. Specifically, I wanted a real wood table with a roughly 3" vault depth and a 3-4" wide border. I also wanted lots of options for accessories, both on an outer rail and in the table interior. The Geeknson Denis table fit all of these requirements.

During the ordering process I spoke several times by phone with Terry on the sales team. He explained all of the options for the different tables Geeknson offers and made the ordering process a breeze. I opted for delivery by the Geeknson team rather than courier, as I have had bad experiences with courier delivery for furniture.

After a 12-week manufacturing process the table was delivered by two members of Geeknson's US team.  Unfortunately as the team was assembling the table we noticed a few imperfections. Long story short, the inside edge of the table top had a 4" cosmetic defect, and several of the accessories were broken or cracked. The delivery team took pictures of everything that was defective to report back to Geeknson. We later discovered another problem: the inside of the table frame has a "ledge" which not only supports the table leaves when they are inserted, but also functions as an internal rail for acrylic card and token holders which Geeknson makes. But this gap was too small along one long edge of the table for the acrylic holders to fit into, which was disappointing.

Now if this had been a $500 table from Amazon I would have been less bothered by these imperfections. But this was not an inexpensive table, so these blemishes were heartbreaking! Fortunately from the moment I contacted Geeknson about these issues they took full ownership of them. I spoke with several members of their customer support and manufacturing teams on a conference call and sent them photos and videos of the defects, and I could tell they were taking notes to ensure this doesn't happen again. They took the matter very seriously and never tried to blow me off or chalk the issues up to "natural variations in wood" or something. 

After trying different solutions including remanufacturing the acrylic card holders with narrower hooks (which they told me didn't work because they became too fragile), they proposed a fix that blew my mind: they would make and ship me a replacement table frame. I know this was not an easy decision for them, as making and shipping something like this to the United States is not cheap. Geeknson's willingness to do this speaks volumes about their commitment to customer satisfaction.

But they didn't just "send a new tabletop." The president of Geeknson personally came to my house and replaced the ENTIRE table: frame, legs, and all the leaves. He also had replacements for the broken strake board, accessory box, and game master desk. He gave me pointers about installing and removing the leaves and other accessories, tested the LED lights, and ensured that everything about the table was satisfactory - and indeed it was!

Not to sound like a pessimist, but I have had enough bad customer service experiences that I was very nervous about something being wrong with the replacement table: dimensions being off, LED lights not working, a replacement accessory being forgotten... something. Nope! The table was in pristine condition and the inserts from the original table fit the new one like a glove. Geeknson truly went above and beyond my expectations and, as far as I'm concerned, set a new gold standard for customer service.

As for the table itself, I couldn't be more pleased. I know my family will spend many happy hours around it, and it is truly the crown jewel of our basement game area.

Excellent experience from start to finish- quick and response staff made a huge difference, they were kind and listened to what we wanted even when that changed many times. The item itself is very high quality- we have not found any flaws at all in any of the pieces delivered- table is excellent, we ordered 8 chairs which are all well build and comfortable. I would definitely recommend geeknson.

GeekNson is an amazing company and takes care of their clients. I have backed two different compaigns on Kickstarter/gamefound.
My second table is great because it is bigger and has great accessories.. :) I had a little issue that one of the leaf of the table didn’t fit properly. So I contacted them with the problem and added photos of the problem. They decided to make another leaf for me and sent it to me. I sent the info in November and received in February. I received 2 days ago and fits on my table perfectly.
If I ever go for a third table, I would get it from them! They really make excellent gaming tables.

I bought the Megan 2.0 through the Gamefound campaign. The delivery was top notch and the table is beautiful.

Mini review

First things first. The tables are amazing and my whole family loves them, even my non gamer wife.

Delivery was smooth, the crew was nice and very formal. I did end up paying a little surplus since my table didn’t fit my elevator. They seemed surprised at the size of the elevator despite me having sent the car measurements as a reply to my scheduling email. Long story short, delivery and assembly was as smooth as it could be.

The Megan Large is amazing, the finish is even and the build is robust and it looks great on our living room. The small push button works as expected and the leaves fit perfectly without being tight, a perfect balance. The height of the table is great for eating and playing alike. We have been using the rail (the internal one) to hold not only the acrylic accessories but also cards per se.
The acrylic accessories are flawed in their base design, I think. For starters, they use the same internal rail meaning that they must be removed if the table is to be covered with the leaves. That’s a minor problem which doesn’t really bothers me. However, the alternative is to remove them and lay them in the recessed area. I tried with the token holders and the card dispensers and both at a couple of millimeters to tall. If you lay this accessories flat on the inlay, the leaves will seem to close almost perfectly, but it can be seen that they could be pushed a couple of millimeters lower, this means that, under pressure (e.g: we covered everything for eating) the accessories will exert pressure on the inlay which might potentially cause damage to it.

The wooden accessories are a little inconsistent, I still don’t get why some have the silicon dots and some don’t. In any case, I’d advise to remove the silicon stoppers, the fit will be better and they will still not move. A great design of both, the accessories and the rail.

The coffee table is just as great and allows me and my children to play while seating on the floor. They love this. The leg extensions come pre assembled and look identical to the large’s legs. Again, a real wonder.

The bench is oh so beautiful. It’s the same height as my other chairs (generic). My children love that the three of them can sit side by side when they would otherwise need more space when using chairs. The kid has a hydraulic brake thingie to hold it open when storing or removing the accessories and leaves and abounds it to fall closed making too much noise. The cushion matches the color of the inlay and is comfortable to sit on.

In short. This was money well spent. I am very satisfied with my purchase and can only recommend geeknson. The only thing that would improve the purchasing experience (even though I went the crowdfunding way) is if they had a way to quickly compare the models they provide since the look mostly the same to the untrained eye.

My rating: a perfect 5.

Bought my Bristol last year.
Customer service were very helpful & patient with me talking through options, and gave me clear instructions/expectations on lead times & delivery etc.

Delivery was smooth & quick & they gave a great care guide.

Had a couple minor issues a few months after (some warping of topper leaves probably due to moisture in my flat), I got super clear instructions on what to try & how to do it, which resolved the issue totally.

Also when I realised an accessory's rubber foot had come away/been damaged, they popped one in the post for me free of charge!.

Got a Megran crown table in January 2026 (bought in a Gamefound campaign on March 2025). The Geeknson guys are very kind and pro, congratulations to them ! Delivery and assembly is fast, clear and nicely done.

The table is gorgious, with the good smell of a new furniture. Much better look than in pictures (which are already good :D ). The Pro inset is fantastic, smooth and comfort. Even a basic game of dices (Noch Mal! Encore!) take a new level !

A missing bowl in accessory (seen only after the guys left), I mailed the support and get a positive answer during the day.

The waiting time is worth, I can't wait this WE to play a bigger game.

Just collected my table and fantastic service from the guys. Can't wait to put it up later today.

We picked up the Megan 2.0 yesterday. The whole process was quick and welcoming. The two gentlemen helped us load all the packages into the van — they were very nice and funny too.

We were also given a folder with the warranty, a thank-you letter, and other details. All these little things made the whole experience really pleasant.

The table is great quality, and my son (4 years old) absolutely loves it. We are definitely going to have some great times with the table.

We’re already looking for more accessories, as the wooden ones are excellent quality.

The table is fantastic! I picked up on Tuesday, all loaded into the van within minutes, no fuss at all, and super simple to put together once we got home.

Once I'd sorted all the bits out I realised part of my order was missing. I reached out that day, and had heard back within 24 hours with a solution. Paulina was super helpful, and by Saturday I had my missing stuff.

The on site team were very friendly and helpful and the whole process has been very efficient. Would happily support future projects from them and the table looks fantastic!

Incredible Megan table, as someone who has backed 2 Kickstarter/Gamefound. They are incredible tables and worth every penny. Great team working there as well.
Had the table for nearly 12 months and it still rock solid and I have 0 regrets.
