The handlebar control pad for the bike stopped working two weeks after purchase. This caused the e-bike to suddenly turn off mid ride. Brought it into the shop and was told it needed software updates. Shop performed the update. Bike worked for two days and controller stopped working mid ride again.
Now we are waiting for Royal Dutch to "approve" a replacement controller, send it to the shop and have it replaced. All of this on a brand-new bike. It should not be a question that this should be fixed/replaced. Why would you build a bike that can turn off mid ride because it needs an update?? Very disappointed. Would not recommend.

Gazelle staff, Tannen especially at the Experience center in Santa Cruz was fabulous. Helped us figure out the right bikes for us, where to buy, and helped us when my bike had a delayed delivery.

I have a rubbing noise in the battery pack area! Bow Cycle has tried to fix it, no luck yet, might need another service trip!

I love my ultimate 10+. It eats hills, it's beautiful, and just fun to ride.

Glad I took the plunge into e biking I’m a novice 63 year old cyclist with a dodgy heart so normal cycling was off limits looked at loads of bikes and manufactures but liked the look of the gazelle bike especially the c380 it had everything I needed strong reliable motor hub drive the style is just classic Dutch not heavy at all or it doesn’t feel heavy the ride is smooth changing between the different modes on the motor to help me on hills is a breeze plus the little Bosch display let’s me know if I’m in the right gear and gives me all the information I need an understand without being too complicated which puts more pleasure into riding than thinking about lots of different elements that come with cycling would I recommend this bike to someone most definitely I made the right choice and so should you if you like this style of riding upright and pleasurable you won’t be disappointed

Overall very happy with the bike, the only disappointing part is the noise from the bosch motor is much louder than my wife's T9.

I wasn’t planning on buying an expensive e-bike but after test riding a couple of lesser value and newer to ebike industry. I just knew to invest in the Gazelle bonus plus it was on a summer sale! I bought from a trusted bike store- bought a bike 14 years ago. The sales person Mike spent a lot of time with me orientating on the T9. Reassured me of the quality and safety of my new ebike. No buyers remorse.

The bicycle and its components are very good.

For the last three years, I had two Gazelle Bikes. One was the Citizen T9 and the last one the Ultimate C380.
Two points that can be better:
1. The manuals (for both bicycles)-these should be more specific to the purchase product. The manual includes all kind of information that do not pertain to the specific bike.
2. The dealers -after two or three weeks of the sale, should have a follow up telephone call asking information about the bike performance and any adjustments that may be necessary.
(i.e. the front brakes of my bike were squealing).

The best of the whole purchase:

My bike was missing a small part. I took some photos and sent an e-mail to Gazelle in Holland. In a few days a lady by the name Christine, replied to my message. Within three weeks, someone in California mailed the part missing. Excellent customer support. Thank you.

The quality of components and the level of craftsmanship is outstanding.

Ik heb een echte Hollandse fiets.
Ben er heel blij mee.
Ben midden 60 en voel me echt jong op deze fiets, waar ik woon zijn vele heuvels en bergen en ik heb jaren zonder fiets moeten doen.
Maar met mijn Gazelle voel ik me weer thuis ondanks de bergen. Je zit met gemak op de fiets en met het schakelen en tijdens gebruik van de motor krijg je met plezier je beweging zonder je uit te sloven.
Echt de beste fiets en ik raad de fiets echt aan( heb ik al heel veel gedaan hier in ons dorp)

I believe Gazelle makes a real high-quality bike that is easy to use, and operations are very intuitive. I am 78 years old and haven't ridden a bike for many years. I am quickly gaining confidence in this bike and know I will get a lot of use from my Gazelle.

The Medeo's are incredibly beautiful, functional and graceful riding machines - making transit, exploration and adventure a surely confident and joyous time. I love riding my T-10 (named Duchess) and my T-9 (named DoubleDutch) on the magnificent San Francisco hills and valleys. From the bottom of California Street to the top of Nob Hill, I rode a 25% (400 feet) grade, in 2nd gear/Turbo in 15 minutes! - and "reached halfway to the stars"!!! If only we could get to 50% E-bikes, 30% public transit, 20% private autos, and reach our vision zero goal. Can Gazelle help us get there?? I'm in...

I bought my Gazelle Medeo T9 back in May 2021 (when e-bikes were difficult to find during the pandemic), and it has reduced my dependence on a car. I took advantage of the MIK rack and added a rear basket and panniers which worked out great for picking up groceries and take-out, and replaced the stock saddle with a Selle Royal Respiro Relaxed seat and now enjoy 20-30 mile rides along the SF Bay Trail. The Bosch Active Line Plus 3rd generation motor makes headwinds almost unnoticeable. However, my Bosch Purion display failed after 1 year, but my local Gazelle dealer had it replaced hassle-free and at no charge. Overall, a really good electric bike with quality components, build and comfort. Still rides like new after 2500 miles.

The T-10 is a fantastic bike! It's so well made. I have supreme confidence in it when speeding down a hill. You need to trust the equipment when those conditions exist. I also love the "natural feel" of pedal assist. You can get a fantastic workout (contrary to what non eBike owners believe) on this bike.

The bike has been very easy to adjust to. I love the auto transmission system! It makes changing gears so easy. And, I love that I can change assist others gears at any time. Even from a standstill.
