Gaggic Classic – don't buy it
The Gaggia classic is completely useless, especially if you are a novice. Six months ago I paid for it to be professionally cleaned and now it's broken again even though I use bottled water and have descaled it. The only option is to take it apart to clean it, which seems ridiculous for a home coffee machine, or send it for an expensive service yet again. Don't buy this machine.

First class all round
After reviewing countless bean-to-cup coffee makers, we took the plunge and purchased the Gaggia Accademia. And we couldn’t be more pleased! The machine looks incredible and the coffee is superb. Importantly, the customer service is first class! Raj went above and beyond to help with an issue we had with the fascia and within 24 hours, we had a new machine. Service like that generates customer loyalty. If you’re looking for quality coffee and quality service, Gaggia is the place to be!
Horrible reliability and build quality
Horrible reliability and build quality, machine starting flaking via the boiler. I learned this was a known defect, yet the company failed to resolve the issue and ended ghosting me.
I waited months over months for a new boiler to arrive, then after repair the machine came PACKED with new issues - leakage and others. Company basically said “your problem” and left me to cope on my own.
Such a disappointment. Please, stay away from them and buy a more serious brand! Never a Gaggia!
To answer the feedback by Gaggia: bought in Israel, but still the same brand and the Gaggia service. Model is the Classic evo pro, I believe (the model with the known boiler flaking issue).

Fantastic Service
I bought a Gaggia Classic from this company two and a half years ago, so it is way out of warranty. The actual purchase experience was good, the machine arrived very quickly. Last week, the handle on the portafilter broke, and they voluntarily sent my a complete new portafilter which arrived within 3 working days.

These guys are incredible. I bought my Gaggia machine 5 years ago from them and they’re still providing an outstanding service answering questions from me about how to maintain it properly. The fact you can just click a zoom link and instantly get through to a human to speak to and get expert advice is unmatched.
If you’re thinking about buying any other coffee machine from any other supplier don’t.

Had an issue with the on/off switch
Had an issue with the on/off switch and steam switch on our Gaggia machine. Made a phone call to the customer services, spoke to a very helpful guy, Danny, who arranged a collection by courier for my machine to go back for repair, emailed the label with shipping details, and generally sorted the issue within a matter on minutes.
Great service, very professional customer service agents.
Gaggia Magnets Prestige
Bought the Gaggia Magnets Prestige. I've had the Academia before and that was impressive. The Magnets is excellent too and it was delivered in under three days. Service is excellent as is the communication. Cang fault this company and would definitely recommend.
Impeccable After Sales
Previous very good experiences with Gaggia UK so I wasn't troubled when our Accademia developed a small problem after nearly 3 years. A quickly arranged Zoom call with Raj led to a rapid diagnosis with a choice of options to sort it out. I was able to bring the machine in by arrangement and it was fixed, updated & checked over on the spot

Unfortunately
Unfortunately, I cannot recommend the Gaggia Classic EVO PRO SS. The machine simply does not last. The motor failed in less than a year, twice on two separate units of the same model. The portafilter handle also broke in under two years, which shows very poor plastic quality. After repeated issues, I´ve had enough. I will never buy Gaggia again and I absolutely cannot resommend this machine.

I have a Gaggia machine, has a issue, probably my fault, but that aside, their customer service, Gaggia UK is best I've experienced anywhere online.
Sent an email, couple hours later an email back asking me to join a Zoom chat with an engineer in office hours, logged on, 1 minute later having a video call with an engineer, options explained, prices quoted, plans made. Covered if not my fault, decent discount applied if it is my fault as bought direct.

Fantastic customer support
This is a real gem of a company to deal with. I had a nice shopping experience a several years ago, but recently my machine developed a fault. Dealing with Raj, Katie, and the support team has been a real pleasure. They are efficient, personable, easily contactable, and treat you really well. When I called support initially the gentleman also gave me a bunch of tips and advice which I was greatful for. I will absolutely recommend Gaggia Direct to anyone who is looking for a coffee machine, and will certainly be buying my next one from here. Thank you!

The best customer service I've ever experienced
While most companies price in redundancy, Gaggia UK take immense pride in offering extraordinary and personal customer service. I can't fault Raj, Katie and the team. Their products are of an extremely high quality - and they go above and beyond to make sure you can get the best from your coffee machine. I've honestly never experienced a commitment to customers and product like it. I can't see myself buying a coffee machine from anywhere else.

Had an issue with the MDF 55 grinder. Contacted GAGGIA who were very helpful. The issue was resolved by Raj during the zoom call.

Katie was really responsive arranging collection and coming back with updates during the repair and service process.
The pick up was easily set up and the whole process was smooth and quick end-to-end. I'll definitely be sending my machine off to Gaggia Direct again in the future and would recommend to any other Gaggia owners
