I took a course from the fuzzsociety experts in Oct 2025 at a security conference called RingZero. The course was on QEMU internals and fuzzing
It was an exceptional course. I have played and even tried to contribute to the QEMU project. But the codebase is huge and there are thousands of companies contributing to QEMU. It is almost impossible to learn on your own. Prof Nappa and Blazquez from fuzzsociety gave me an expert course on QEMU internals.
I have been so impressed by the course that I have purchased every course that fuzzsociety has offered since then.
So if you are not sure if any course from fuzzsociety is worth the money, I can assure you it is worth every dollar or euro
The book and the training offered are top quality. Even working as a low level/systems engineer I got a ton from these materials. I think Antonio and the rest of the team know the subject in depth and are excellent at teaching it.
Followed up a course on device emulation and pentesting techniques. The instructors are extremely knowledgeable, way beyond the course extents and are happy to give feedback and guides for future learning on their Discord channel.
I enrolled in the Architecture 1901: From zero to QEMU course, where we went through an amazing journey through device emulation, including building a small Python-based 8-bit CPU emulator, but most importantly we went through many parts of the QEMU internals, including its JIT compilation engine (TCG). It was one of the best learning experiences that I had; needless to say that lectures were very clear.
After this course, I can confidently say that I have improved my understanding of architecture emulation! Strongly recommended!
i just finished from zero2qemu course. im usually not a big fan of courses because they are often overloaded with dry theory, or they drag you into super specific rabbit holes that you dont even need at the beginning (well, you know how it goes ahahah)
but this course is the perfect intro to qemu, emulators, and cpu. even though i was already well acquainted with all of this before signing up, i still learned some new things and brushed up on my knowledge. most importantly, its not boring at all. i loved how the author keeps it simple and perfectly mixes theory with practice. you get a super simple, easy to understand cpu emulator where abstraction plays a huge role. you dont get bogged down in technical, niche BS or waste time trying to figure out the emulators code itself - instead, you actually learn how emulators and processors are works. zero wasted effort.
honestly, if i had found this course at the very beginning of my journey, i would have 100% started with it. but even if you already know this stuff, i still highly recommend taking it. you will definitely get something useful out of it. 10/10
I earned my certification through Fuzzsociety and the whole experience was excellent. The courses go deep into fuzzing and vulnerability research, with genuinely hands-on labs covering firmware emulation and rehosting with QEMU across real embedded and IoT targets. The material is rigorous but very practical, and it's clear the training is built by people who actually do this work at a high level. The 24/7 Discord support and weekly live sessions made a huge difference whenever I got stuck, and the instructors are knowledgeable and truly invested in students. The certification process was smooth and professional, and I came away with skills I can apply immediately. Highly recommended for anyone serious about fuzzing and low-level security.
