I am harassed by this company for money I allegedly owe them. Every time I phone to try and sort this out the person I need to speak to is in meetings.

I had disappointing experience with this tax company. They asked me to claim for extra tax return and uniform expenses, but all they did was check my wage slip. After that, they refused to process my claim properly and suddenly sent me a payment of £108 without any proof or signed agreement from me.

I never signed any contract with them or gave permission for deductions, yet they acted as if I had. This feels dishonest and misleading. Please be cautious when dealing with such online tax services — they can appear legitimate but turn out to be scammers. Always verify who you’re dealing with before sharing your personal or financial details.

Cancel this people long time ago with my tax return with hmrc got my tax return direct from hmrc now they want me to pay them 700 pounds with a fake amount they assume I have received contact hmrc about this and they provide me with a letter that they never dealt with them and if I get treaths from them to contact the police for forgery so people don't ever bend down to this thifes and trust me guys they are under the rader by the police. Been told by the authorities.

This company is a scam scam scam. They tried to say that a phone call is a contract and if cancelled I would be charged £78 is company are fraud. They have insisted I pay and when I said I will go to court. They passed the case to the bailiffs how are trying to change me £288 . Please please please don't even phone this company this is a big rip off.

I clicked on a facebook add and filled out a form. Since then, these people have hounded me, calling me and harassing me and today the have asked me to pay £120 for cancellation of a contract that I didn’t sign. They have even claimed they are not on trust pilot but it’s same name and same phone number. I don’t know what will happen but I don’t have £120 to pay anyone for trying to scam me. Just leaving this here in the hope that others will see and not fall victims. I wonder how they have been able to operate for so long. Thieves

DO NOT DEAL WITH THESE PEOPLE. WEVE JUST PAIDED THEM £311.80 AND THEY'VE DONE NOTHING FOR US... PLUS THEY OWN US MONEY WHICH WE HAVE SEND THEM MAIL ABOUT BUT THEY ARE IGNORING THAT BIT. AND THEY WILL TAKE YOU TO COURT.

Well it looks like this is another waste of space company that lie and cheat their way into ripping customers off and charging them for achieving absolutely nothing. If this company ever contacts you in regards to claiming back money that may be owed to you please never ever use them. They do the bare minimum but always stress that it’s a no win no fee claim. This is a complete lie. I’ve just had to pay over £300 because they then sent a debt agency after me and threatening with additional court fees and non payment fees. Like I said they are cheats liars and an unethical untrustworthy company

As with all the other reviews , I wouldn’t give a single star for this rude, aggressive and appalling company.
I filled out , what I thought was standard enquiry form on a social media page advertising that I may be able to get a tax refund , to then be told on a phone call from this company that I had signed into a contract and that they had my signature ?! -the only reason they had my signature was because on the enquiry form it is stated that a signature was requested in order for them to approach HMRC with my permission - as a ‘letter of authority’ it is not clear that this also means you are signing into a contract with them?!. Any decent company would send you a copy of the signed contract - I never received this if I had it done I would’ve cancelled it during the cooling off period I didn’t even remember that I done the form until I started getting phone calls and text messages from them. The only phone call I had with them since signing the form, I was read out their set of terms and conditions - at which point I said ‘no thanks I’m not interested’. This is when I was told that I was in a contract and that I had no choice as whether to be involved.

I have since ‘cancelled’ even though I was completely unaware from the start that I was even in a contract - and been billed for £72 cancellation fee - not quite sure how this has been calculated for services not rendered? -apart from being bombarded with text messages and nuisance (unanswered) phone calls. After all, I had already told them on the initial phone call that I wasn’t interested after terms and conditions were read out to me by their operator.

Surely this isn’t legal? They must be making a fortune as it seems either way they obtain money for doing pretty much nothing! I have approached trading standards and so hoping they can help to resolve.

My advice -as with everyone else’s :!!!!DO NOT USE!!!! Very disappointed as this company lacks any sort of professional and competent customer service skills and has no interest in the customer -only their money.

Avoid, avoid, avoid.

Do your homework before you start any kind of engagement with this lot.
I didn’t but once I had I committed, only reading horror stories about FE .
Then they want you to do the work for them, hassle you whilst you are suffering from a mental health issue, hassle you while you’re away, accuse you of not wanting to help, and in the end up charging you. Been dragging on for 2 years.
Yeah they may have gave me a days extra grace to pay…Woo, good on them.

Scam scam they are trying to charge me.for not being able to contact me then they said they charging me.for giving wrong information this company needs closing I am seeking legal advice about them they sent a 214 pound bill over email and said they will cancel one on a good will lol I no what they up to

Horrible company to deal with avoid at all costs

Given 1 star because I can't leave a review without doing so. I received a letter from HMRC informing me that they had issued me a tax refund. They stated the cheque had been sent to Fredrick Edwards Limited (my nominee). I don't have a nominee for my tax affairs. As I have been unable to contact Fredrick Edwards Limited directly, I have informed the HMRC fraud department accordingly. I will have to wait and see whether the HMRC cheque can be cancelled and whether I can get any of the money I am owed. Looking at other reviews on this site, I don't hold out much hope of a successful outcome.

Hi you said you not in Facebook you are you keep hassleing me and wi t leave me alone lone you are making me ill and I don't need it has I lost my husband and year ago and I lost my brother a few months ago I have asked for proof from you but you said you sent me to my email I have had nothing from you so I am asking you to leave me alone to grief please has you are not letting me do that you are making me ill and I can't cope with you hassleing me

By not waiting 7 months to constant calls and booking a phone slot when they call 2 half hours later

I have requested this company LAST YEAR to stop liasing with HMRC when I am more than capable of dealing with any tax claims myself. Comes to something when I have to contact my solicitor and accountant to sort this company out !!

They contacted me out of the blue demanding I pay them for services never provided or they would more forward to legal. They had my email address and said I gave it to them - which I didn't. Feels like a scam.

I have bad experience in this company; I never get a tax refund and now I will pay for their service of 210 GBP. last year I filed on the website Fredrick Edward about my tax claim, then we transfer house, I never get the invoice that they said to me, and I never get any tax refund. Now they said to me to pay 210GBP for not response to their email. Is annoying that you will pay their service for nothing. I hope government will stop this kind job. thanks a lot god bless

So I put a review on the 10 of March 2025 saying what a bad experience i had with this company I got a review back from this fredrick Edwards saying they haven't got no claims on file so this morning I got a text message from a company claiming I own £288.00 to fredrick Edwards called lawson hathaway . when I all ready pay this what a scam please people do not trust this company
