Very helpful.

Franklin Legal Group promised they would settle our debt for 40-60% of what it originally was, told us not to pay any of the companies we owed money to while they "negotiated" and we paid into an escrow account that they held.our money in for us. We were served twice in this time period with companies threatening to sue us and their answer to this was that we could send them more money or deal with it on our own. No other advice was offered, just give us more money screw off. The one debt they did settle for us ended up costing us more than the original debt because of their fee, and it wasn't an insignificant amount more to us. We pulled all of our creditor account from them and negotiated ourselves. Ended up settling for about 40-60% of the original debt, around the amount they promised. What we learned from this whole ordeal is that they're pretty much promising what they know creditors are usually willing to settle for with whoever calls them, whether is the lawyers trying to middleman it to receive a cut or the actual client that owes the debt. If you're searching right now because you're trying to figure out if they're legit and can do what they promise, the answer is yeah, sure, but you can do it yourself too without paying them. They're parasites, don't fall for the sudo scam they are offering you. Call the creditors and settle your debt yourself.

After my last review of this company I received a response from them asking me to call to try and resolve this issue. I did call them back and there was no attempt to resolve anything. They just wanted to explain what happened. The money was in my account to resolve these creditors and they just did not do it as promised. BE CAREFUL BEFORE SIGNING WITH THEM. Always check other options.
