Made the mistake of ordering from Canada. My order contained some dried meats, which was turned away at the border by the food inspectors, so the entire package was sent back to the seller. For weeks, I've tried contacting the company via email with no reply. When a reply finally did came through, it was a generic text asking me for an order number (which I did provide in earlier emails) and accusing me of trying to defraud him. This is no way to treat your customers. With no way to sort out the situation, I'm left with no other options but to dispute the charge with my credit card company. I found out later that he has a no-refund policy for first time customers, but from what little interaction I had with him, I doubt he treats his repeat customers any better. Stay away from this company.

BEST BUTCHER EVER
This was my first ever order with Frankie and I have to say I’m blown away by the quality of care and the quality of the food. He took all the precautions to make sure my stuff came okay, packed and shipped on the same day, arrived next morning. The meats have a beautiful yellow fat and they’re so clean you can eat them raw, the milk was delicious. I’ll definitely be coming back

I’m sorry to say the that I ordered outside skirt steak and the meat was so hard I normally buy from a local ranch in fort mascot fl and the meat is very tender ease to eat I once ordered from them the inside skirt steak and never ordered again because it was like this meat from Frenki’s I’m beginning to think they sold me the inside skirt steak first and last time I will order from here going back to the local rancher
SCAMMER ALERT!! Poor customer service
Ordered $150 worth of meat on February 25th, paid for two day shipping, should have received February 27 which I did not. I emailed company on February 27th with no response. I called and left a message with no return call, I emailed him on March 2 the day I received the spoiled meat twice with no response , I also instant messaged him on Instagram on March 4 with no response. He did finally email me on March 17 saying I didn’t follow his guidelines for a refund, by not sending pictures. I forwarded all the emails I had sent him starting from February 27 to March 2. I also sent him pictures dated 3/2, the date I received the meat. I posted a review on his website pretty much the same as this review and now he’s threatening me with a lawsuit for slander and going to call the cops and have me arrested and what not. This guy has several complaints all over the place, my bad for not doing my due diligence before doing business with Frankies Free Range Meat, Frankie Tufano 🤷♀️. Really all he had to do was file a claim with FedEx to get his money back as they would not take the claim from me as the buyer. He could’ve offered to send me new meat or a refund which he did not. He just chose to be mean and ugly.
Poor Customer Service
This review is for poor customer service. We've been gifted an order twice now and decided to place the next order ourselves. We wanted to be loyal customers but had unprofessional customer service. One of the steaks that arrived didn't look great and when it thawed was very gray and rubbery. We still cooked it but couldn't eat it. I emailed pictures of the bad steak, next to a good cut, so they could see the difference. I got a reply back saying it looks like I thawed it in water. That was very unprofessional and rude. One, to assume that, and two, to not be kind to your customers, totally lost me. Why have a customer service email?
I will add, the quality of our other products was great. The shipping was fast and items packaged great. However, we pay an arm and a leg for good products. If we receive one bad product that is on you, a discount should be offered for a future order. I don't think I could order from them again given how dismissive they were.

I’m sharing my experience so others can make an informed decision before ordering.
I placed an order from Frankie’s Free Range Meat that included:
• 1/4 Beef Share
• Ribeye steaks
• Promotional items (eggs, etc.)
Order total after discount: $935.13, plus an additional $161.50 invoice the merchant later requested, which I paid separately.
After more than 10 days, the merchant contacted me saying I hadn’t paid enough and asked for additional payment. I paid the invoice in good faith.
However, I only ever received the free gift items (eggs). The beef share and steaks — the main portion of the order valued at roughly $800–$900 — were never delivered.

This tracking shows:
• Only small packages (~10–15 lbs each) delivered.
• Total delivered weight around 25 lbs.
• Remaining shipments never moved beyond label creation.
A quarter beef share alone should weigh close to 100 pounds, so the shipment weights do not match the order contents.
Despite multiple attempts to resolve the situation, the issue was never properly corrected.
I recommend future buyers:
• Verify shipping timelines carefully
• Document all communications
• Be cautious with large bulk orders
I hope my experience helps others avoid similar problems.

I made an order today, received a confirmation, and then later this evening received a cancellation notice. I logged into my account to see if there was an explanation, but the reason was listed as “other.” I did not receive any explanation about why my order was cancelled and, as of now, did not get a response to my email query about this issue. Based on other reviews, I likely will not get a response. Years ago, I placed several orders with this business with no problems. Judging by the other reviews, my new experience is a common one. It’s sad to see this business not following through with orders and not communicating with its would-be customers. I will not attempt to place another order. I gave two stars because my bank account does show that I did receive the refund.

Placed an order for the first time, got a confirmation email and charge appeared on my credit card, less than 24 hrs later I got an email from them stating ORDER CANCELLED!!! No explanation whatsoever. Tried emailing them asking about my payment, 3 days later no response! I would BEWARE!

Biggest problem is they do not respond at all when you send an email about a problem. I bought previously and had no issues but when there is one, they ignore you. I ordered a rack of short ribs for about $50. Short Ribs have an inch to an 1 1/2 above the bone. Back Ribs have very little meat above the bone and is much less expensive. I got 4 ribs with 1/4" of meat above the bone. It was worth no more than $30.

Do not do business with this company
The instructions for this review suggest that the review be constructive. That's really difficult when a company that you do business with completely ignores accountability and refuses to address problems or issues. I have had to open a dispute with my credit card company because I received broken and rotten eggs and Frankie's refused to respond to any of my requests to replace the bad product. Nothing. Crickets. I can only assume that these people are complete scammers. I highly recommend staying away from Frankie's Free Range Foods.

Scammer do not buy, food is rotten and doesnt respond to emails. He claims he is being gangstalked and targeted by larger businesses on his youtube channel. He is a scammer and needs to be shutdown.
First Time Buyer found on SHOP
Not sure what to say but I ordered 4 grass fed beef filets 8oz each along with 2-4oz tins of salmon roe. The salmon roe was just perfect and a good price. The 1st filet was virtually inedible, very tough and chewy. At $36 a pound it was a complete disappointment...it should have never been shipped. Not sure about the other 3 yet. I have pictures but don't see a way to include them. Not sure I'd order again given that this piece of meat was obviously destined for grinding into hamburger.

Wish I could give zero stars. I ordered Wild Caught Salmon Caviar Roe on 2.23.2025 and STILL have not received my order. I've sent several emails without any responses. This feels like a scam.
