We are looking to use Equity Release to pay off a mortgage. We spoke to Forever Legal about this who during the conversation pushed an offer for will making and power of attorney. I understand that we do not need a will or power of attorney in place for equity release. I also think many would be in a vulnerable position having to use equity release nd having supposed financial pressure at such a time is totally out of order.
