Footplate Anmeldelser

Good price, honest description, delivery as promised.

The whole of my 00 guage steam model railway layour (and records), which I started collecting 70 years ago, was completely burnt out when a wildfire in Spain ravaged our outbuildings.
I have never dealt with Footplate before but asked them if they would help me by valuing my, somewhat vague in parts, list of components. They were very understanding, very helpful and did an excellent job providing all the info that I neede for the insurance underwriters quickly. 5 stars and beyond for service. I will not hesitate to use them for replacing my layout.

The shop in Kidderminster is well-stocked and the staff are helpful and often give a discount on your purchases. Recently discovered their pre-owned website and bought some wagons and a loco. All were in excellent condition, at a great price and the parcel was well-packed and arrived really quick. Great shop to keep model railways alive!

Good stock levels. Items are described perfectly.
Quick postage time. With good communication.

I'm more than pleased with my purchase of an N gauge locomotive and tender. The condition is as new in the original box with all the original paperwork and in perfect working order. The price was very reasonable and delivery was prompt. I will definitely be happy to purchase from Footplate again.

The Pre-owned site is very easy to use especially to filter for your own requirements.
The various items that I have purchased are in really good condition and combatively priced. Orders have been dispatched straight away.
I always view the pre-owned listing just in case ther is anything of interest to me.

I ordered an OO gauge snowplough on Monday and it was delivered on Wednesday, a lot better than bigger competitors. Price was very reasonable as well as postage and item was securely packaged.

Excellent model. As described and great value. Great customer service with very quick dispatch and delivery.
Exceptional service as always from this trusted, reliable and thoroughly recommended seller.
A delighted customer.

I have bought several models from Footplate, this time I purchased a pre-owned, kit-built, O gauge brake van. Naturally, kits do not have the same packaging as RTR models, so I was concerned about the condition it would arrive in. I needn’t have worried, It arrived in excellent condition, having been beautifully packed by the team at Footplate. I highly recommend them!

Just a great service no need to say more!

Easy to deal with, quick despatch, easy to pay.Job done. Product details exactly as described.

Always have a good service from Footplate. Prices are fair and models always good. Good people to deal with. 👍

Excellent prompt delivery. Preowned items were as described, great communication and customer service. I would shop there again (they need to source and stock more preowned European products)

This was my first order to Footplate, for a locomotive which was in perfect condition other than a few missing windows, as described (one was supplied loose, which will assist with replacement). Fair price and postage cost, quick delivery and more than adequate packaging - friendly emails and good website too, I have subscribed to see if there are/will be other items I didn't know I needed...!
