Footplate Anmeldelser

I am a regular purchaser of 00-gauge railway items from the fantastic team at Footplate. 5 stars are awarded for a great, easy-to-use website, good communication, and first-class service overall.

Nice easy to use website.
Found two good pre loved models at a reasonable price.
Arrived quick, as described ,in great condition, parcelled up securely with care.
Excellent.

Overall experience first class from original order placing through to final delivery. Keep up this high standard. First Class. Quality excellent. We know it is difficult but keep the prices competitive and we will keep coming back.

2 orders in with Footplate so far and both recieved extremely quickly and notified on day of purchase that they were being shipped. Together with the competitive prices, what more is there to ask for (except more TT:120 stuff please)

As usual, service and delivery of the highest order.
Goods as described. Super company.

Excellent shop for new and preowned 0 gauge which I model in. Prices for preowned are very competitive. The shop and warehouse are contactable easily by phone and provide a good service. Their postage could be improved by offering Royal mail 24 and a courier service for more expensive items. Packaging is acceptable but could be improved for more expensive and fragile items. I review their preowned stock daily for the latest bargains as they update frequently!!

Very helpful company with a good service. Good prices on TT stock too :)

I have always had a positive attitude towards Footplate and still have. In this instance I purchased a locomotive that was labelled as excellent runner and otherwise excellent, however one of the buffers was detached into three pieces therefore not excellent but still good.

Excellent locomotive well packaged with speedy delivery.

Excellent service. Very good selection of pre-owned locos including interesting and unusual ones. Accurately described, well packed and promptly deliivered. Well done !

VERY prompt service, ordered the item Friday it arrived before9.00 on the following Monday, excellent, as always, Thankyou.

Superb finish and compensated running; shame only one-sided brake gear. Spares not available from Dapol.
Parcel sent by Royal Mail to wrong sorting office, hence delivery 48 hrs later than promised.

My locomotive arrived very quickly and is in excellent condition, having been thoroughly tested prior to dispatch. Thank you Footplate.

Bought a Peco / Kato 009 loco.
Very good price paid, prompt service, well wrapped.
Happy customer......
Thanks footplate!

The service from Footplate from ordering the model to recieving it was very quick, all in good condition and packaged really well. Very good prices too, I will definitely be using them again.

Quick delivery and well packed, great price for this new item.

Great item, arrived quickly and as described in terms of condition.

Thank you once more for helping make a decision on one of your models. Going into detail to discuss the DC/DCC route for this model. I made the right decision and the loco runs well, although running DCC on DC does mean slower operation, as a diesel shunter that would probably be normal speed. Happy with the detailed checklist for pre-owned, which was accurate too.

Second hand item arrived in good time and exactly as described, well packaged. I’ve bought 2nd hand several times from Footplate and have never had an issue, whether it be with item descriptions or quality, postage, or communication. Top job, great customer service. All model shops should strive to be as good as Footplate! An industry leader for me

I ordered an azuma coach pack x 4 . It finally arrived after 3 days of royal mail messing up on deliveries. This was second hand, item arrived today and actually the pack is immaculate. Like new. Beautiful pack at a fantastic price. Really pleased. I contacted them first to ensure this was the correct pack, and they replied very quickly and it was even a bank holiday weekend. Perfect response to answer my questions. Highly recommend these people.
It's 5 stars from me.
