The food is great but ETA shown times two is the real ETA
The food is great. Nothing to complain there. Only that the ETA shown on Foodhub (not any outlet in particular but as a whole) is always an underestimate. Double the ETA in your mind and that is more accurate in reality. I am not commenting this as a bad review, just trying to orient your expectation towards more appropriate direction. However, it is worth the wait. So do not be discouraged. The value for money is still great.

Ordered through foodhub and the payment…
Ordered through foodhub and the payment was taken twice, contacted customer services who basically told me there is nothing they can do and to contact my bank even though it was their mistake. Because the payment was taken twice i couldn't pay one of my bills and was forced to borrow money as foodhub offered no help or refund. Absolutely disgusting behaviour

Ordering was easy

I placed an order: Tue 08 Sep, 4:35 PM for Fish and Chips from the Golden Fisheries in Dewsbury, West Yorkshire WF12 via Food Hub.
By 5.15 the food had not arrived.
I phoned Golden Fisheries who were hard to understand, they claimed that the order had left then they said that the driver had not yet arrived and that the food was in a warmer waiting to be collected and advised I phoned the driver. How was i supposed to know the drivers number, they claimed they didn't know it!
I went back on the Food Hub order page and sawe a drivers number, he was the same, hard to understand and one minute he said he was at Golden Fisheries collecting the order, then he said he was 10 minutes drive away and by this time the food will have been in the warmer for 15 minutes. Then he said it would take at least 10 minutes to get back to my area to deliver it, implying he was from my area (Thornhill Lees in WF12) I was furious, he blamed the traffic. He sounded half awake, totally out of it and incoherrent.
I phoned Golden Fisheries to ask them to discard the food that had been in the warmer and cook fresh the hard to unerstand female claimed that the driver had not arrived.
I tried in vain to contact Food Hub but an American accent male answerphone voice said no agents were available and the call was terminated by them.
I tried to go on live chat, was unable to connect.
I phoned Golden Fisheries again to ask if the docile Food Hub driver had arrived yet but threy said no and that he wasn't going to come either, I asked them for a refund, they told me to contact Food Hub.
I tried again to contact Food Hub, it took a whole hour in online chat via a link they sent me in an order confirmation email the characters limited and the attitude was as nochalent as that of Golden Fisheries and the Food Hub driver. Basically it was "Tough that you now get no food before you go to work", "Not our problem, blamed the traffic", "We couldn't care less if you get cold food if at all", uttterly useless diabolical service that is beyond a disgrace. Bad service, bad attitude, a complete waste of time and money and to be avoided at all costs. I will never ever order from Food Hub again and I advise others to think twice before they do as well. I could have lost my job, I lost copious income and I am seriously out of pocket and I am even doubting that a refund has been issued from Food Hub who have breached my trust completely today on many levels but they say my refund will take 3-5 days, so that is far from satisfactory when they are quick enough at takling your hard earned money off you.
I had to order food from another company, be 3 hours late for work, lose serious money and no compensation for the loss of income either. I feel like suing them and reporting them to Trading Standards.
They have absolutely ZERO respect for their poor customers, they are insufferable.
I am a pensioner and housebound so this abuse today from Food Hub added insult to injury.
Diabolical disgrace.
