Goods shipped 09/02/24.
Carrier says goods received.
Since that day, each time the carrier has advise on a delay, 4 days on the trott now.
I keep emailing these guys, who keep saying its delayed, I can see that by the tracking No.
No one seems to grasp that, if the parcel is delayed for such a long time the carrier has lost the parcel.
I have asked now 3 times to have my goods shipped out on a next day, but fishing republic are still saying its delayed.
At what point will the penny drop, its probs lost?
Common Sense doesn't seem to be an option here.
Good luck if your parcel is delayed.

No news what so ever from Go Outdoors.
I called customer service on 21/02/24.
They said we will ship your order out again, please wait 3-5days, I asked for next day, 3 days later still no tracking no for 2nd delivery.
So to date almost 3 weeks for a delivery and no idea if it is coming or not.
No one has a clue here.
Don't Go Outdoors - Go Elsewhere, you have a greater chance for getting what you ordered in under 3weeks.
Last time I will use these, stick with A/D.
Very very poor service, infact no service.

Fishing line not delivered. This is what was put in writing via email on 5th December 23: I have triple checked the box inside and its contents and have taken everything out. I have taken a photo of all the contents and can 100% guarantee no Preston 0.17 Power line is enclosed, I also reconciled the despatch note against everything (please see attached). Received email from Fishing Republic (Go Outdoors Retail Ltd) stating they rejected the dispute although I could contact them by email which I did on many occasions.
This is what Fishing Republic state on website for help: 'email us at customercare @fishingrepublic.co.uk where our customer service team will assist you' Well I contacted them on 5th December 2023 - no response. I contacted John@fishingrepublic on 7th December 23 - no response. I contacted support@fishingrepublic - no response. I contacted fishingrepulic@e-fishingrepublic 11th December 23- no response. Following on from the message they sent below, i sent an email to them on 22nd January: Sorry, we were unable to deliver your message to the following address.

Unable to deliver message after multiple retries, giving up.
Very poor customer service, I would advise avoid buying anything from them.

I bought a "Phoxx 2 Tent" during their black friday sale for £58.65. One month later the tent had not yet been delivered so I tried sending them an email, only for the email to bounce back with a "451 4.4.4 Mail received as unauthenticated" error. Since then I sent another 20 emails, all of which bounced back. When I finally managed to get in touch with customer service I specifically requested them to send me the item again since they still had it in stock and the parcel status on Evris website was now "There's an issue with your parcel. Please contact your sender". However they did not listen to a word I said and instead refunded the purchase. I questioned why they refunded the purchase rather than shipping the item again and they refuse to reply to this question. The tent is now £109.00 on their website. 0/10 customer service and the company doesn't even use a functioning email server for customer inquiries.

Excellent. A brand new pair of Hi-Tec Summit hiking boots for just £60 - less than half RRP of £140 - just because the box was a little bit battered. Absolutely thrilled to bits. Thank you very much!

Shocking customer service and wrong goods delivered
My 1st time placing an order online with this company and the wrong item arrived, I ordered a korda goo squid bait additive, the one that arrived was the korda goo spicy squid, I rang fishing republic and was told that the spicy one was all that is available because the normal one was discontinued, this is very misleading because their Web page clearly shows a picture of the normal squid goo and not the spicy one, they even had the bloody cheek to tell me to take it back to the shop, yeah right ya plank it's 12 miles Away that's why I ordered it online for delivery, so now I'm stuck with summat I don't want because they won't pay return postage or won't pay me for fuel to take it back, what a set of total morons who dont give a monkeys

this item was returned to go outdoors in Chesterfield for a full refund, the lady in GoOutdoors filled out a form and told me I would get the money back in my bank within 5 days, OK here's where I just wanna pull of somebody's head because fishing republic have refunded me the price of the goods only and kept the £2.99 postage costs for themselves, a phone call to fishing republic confirms that it's their policy to not refund postage, this I believe is nothing short of a scam/ theft, roll on monday when I go to the citizens advice bureau and see where I stand legally.
UPDATE.. After making it quite clear this company I will pursue it in court they have finally and somehow managed to make their 2 lonely brain cells collide and see the error of their ways and I have now had my money paid back to me

If I could give it 0 I would. Order not arrived, any contact method does not work. Emails were returned, calls weren’t answered and unable to track the order. Absolutely zero communication other than an email saying the order was dispatched. That was ages ago. Will definitely be getting a refund.

I ordered an item which was delivered to the wrong address. Despite the courier sending a photo (of someone else's address) which proved it wasn't delivered, they refused to give me a refund so I had to go through PayPal to try to get my money back.
Update: Raised a dispute with PayPal and they didn't even bother responding. Got my money back but it's ridiculous that I was forced to dispute the charge when it was clearly not delivered in the first place.

I have tried to contact customer service by email but email won't deliver so I am posting this on review in a hope I will get a response from Fishing Republic.
I ordered a carp fishing suit order number 758224348.
When it was delivered the parcel only contained a jacket. The trousers were missing.
I informed customers service immediately.
An email was sent to me asking me to retain and they would offer me a 50 percent discount (I had only received 50 percent of my order!!!) or to return the item for a refund.
I rang customers service and asked if they would send me a pair of trousers to complete my order. Contract between myself and company was for a set.
They said they could not do this and I should return item for refund through their returns portal and reorder.
When I went through the portal they charged me £2.99 to return the item despite fishing republic not supplying me with the correct order. Customer service advised they would refund me this charge following another phone call to them.
After 14 days I still have not received a refund and have had to ring customer services again today.
I spoke to Angel who was very polite and after a 15 min plus phone call (as there was a query regarding the postage refund) she confirmed she will put the refund through but it could take up to 48hours to reach me.
I have ordered another suit and have received this complete.
I have therefore had to pay for another suit and today I am still £82.19 out of pocket due to your packaging error.
To add further annoyance I note that if I had purchased the suit today I would have got an extra 15 percent off my order.
I understand errors happen but surely, a company who has made an error should ensure that the customer does not have to pay for their error.
I would like a response to this complaint by return email.

Update 28/11/23. I have now received my refund (16 days to reach my account).
Although you responded to my review stating you would send me an email to discuss my complaint further sadly, after 48 hours I have received nothing.

After using Fishing republic for most of my fishing takle i can honestly say never again. I placed an order for numerous amounts of Pike terminal tackle and on opening my delivery was shocked to see 50% of my order was not in the parcel,the items packaging was there but nothing inside the packaging and Customer service said its my fault for accepting the parcel ??? I have to accept the parcel to open it and then check everything is there that i ordered. Lesson learnt ,shop local at smaller tackle shops in future ..thanks for nothing Fishing republic 😡

Problem with order. None of the given email addresses work. Have a faulty chair that we cannot return because they will not accept the return without photos being emailed and non of the email addresses work. Have been asked to take it to a partner store (go outdoors) for inspection. This is not at all convenient. We just want an email address that is actually a valid email address.
