Horrible Experience
UPDATE: At the time I wrote this review, Paypal had not made a determination yet. They have now made a determination. They ruled in my favor and my money will soon be returned to me by Paypal. I recommend only paying with Paypal if you do choose to order from them because then you have a way to get a refund if your experience is as bad as mine was.
ORIGINAL POST: Working with this store has been a nightmare. If there was an option for something lower than a 1 rating, I'd rate them a -5.
They advertised a stacking plant stand kit - describing it in the description and in the customer reviews as five stacking pots on a base. I ordered it during a sale they were having of buy 6 and get 4 free. Even if I misunderstood their advertisement, which was pretty clear in the customer reviews that I didn't, and it was just one stacking pot for the ridiculous price of $19.99 - they only sent me four stacking pots (which is one short of the kit they described), which is 6 short of the ten I ordered.
It only got worse from there. It took me almost three months to get the merchandise, yet about 6 weeks after I ordered it they sent me an email asking me to rate what I'd ordered. I sent them two emails telling them I hadn't received the item and asking for their help, and they ignored both emails.
After doing some research on them (because ignoring my emails made me suspicious), I discovered that they had a Facebook page that hadn't been added to since 2019 and the first time I put the number they gave me into the 17Track Service they use, it said there was no such order.
At that point, I reported it to Paypal. When Paypal got involved, each step of the way they just sent the tracking number (that mysteriously started to work after I reported them to Paypal) in response to each step of the review process. To date, they haven't given any explanation as to why my order only had about 10% of the merchandise in it when it was received.
At this point, I don't know what the Paypal resolution will be, but I decided to create a review now in the hope of protecting someone else from getting ripped off.
This is my opinion, but it seems from my experiences that they get your order and send any little thing out so they can say they shipped something in case you file a complaint with Paypal or whatever service you use to pay for the items you ordered. Then, they send you an email to get you to review the product, so they can say you reviewed it so you got it and there is no problem. Then, when you escalate it to the service you used to pay for it, they just keep sending a one word response of the tracking number so they can say see, we sent it - no problem - when the whole time they sent you something worth $1 when you paid $100 - but they did send something so in their mind there is no problem. It's like they use the tracking as a way to argue their case of we sent it when they didn't send anything even near the value of what you ordered.
I recommend avoiding this company!!!!!
