Stress Free Re-Mortgage Process
Ryan made the re-mortgage process really easy for us. It was a smooth transition throughout and any questions we had he answered via telecom or email promptly. If Ryan hasn't been available the team have been able to answer my questions with no problem and in detail.

Friendly and professional service
Mandy Jones at Fidler & Pepper did the conveyancing for the sale of our family house, which was recently completed. She responded promptly to my questions and enquiries, and was friendly and professional. I used Filder & Pepper for a remortgaging process in October 2025 and would strongly caution anyone considering them. Communication was poor, and the only proactive update I received was when they contacted me to charge additional fees. Despite the case handler being full‑time, progress was repeatedly held up because the senior legal adviser only works three days a week, creating long periods where nothing moved forward. This crucial information about the senior adviser’s limited availability, despite their role being essential to the process, was never communicated at the start and only came to light when I complained about the delays.
The process ultimately completed 11 days late, which resulted in unnecessary additional interest costs that could have been avoided with better management and basic responsiveness. When I raised a complaint about the delay, I initially received a very generic response, and when I asked for further clarification, my email went unanswered for months. I was then told that my message had “disappeared” from their inbox, yet the information I requested was still never provided. This only reinforced how disorganised and unprofessional the service was.
Overall, the experience felt careless and money‑driven rather than client‑focused. Based on my experience, I would not recommend Filder & Pepper.
