Fast outside garden tap replacement and reliable service

Today I had a shower and the water went cold .
I checked the hot water heater and was almost cold so I called Ferguson plumbing group.
I called them on their 1300 660 116 and talked to Cathy at the office she was very helpful and kind.
My phone call was at 2 pm and it’s now 4 pm and a very polite, caring,professional, young man Nathan came to look at my hot water system it’s ready to heat up thank goodness I’ll have hot water .
Nathan presented him sell very professionally he was a pleasure to do business with , he was dressed very neatly and looked very smart , also Nathan took his shoes of at the door and didn’t walk threw the house with work shoes on that was a very nice he would think to do that , little things like that make a business.
I think Nathan is an asset to your company I wish him well in the future with his plumbing career.
Thank you Ferguson plumbing group.

It’s hard to write a honest review about anything these days without receiving letters from solicitors. They would rather burn cash instead of apologising.

It’s worse when TrustPilot removes your review, despite providing screenshots of emails, tax invoices, screenshots of what was said on their own website, etc. They said the matter is under investigation. But we decided to just redo the whole thing again anyway as you, the community, need to know the truth.

Yeah, I’ll supply all evidence, including my claims of cancer to highlight the authenticity of this whole review.

Ferguson’s Plumbing Group also operates as Dan’s Plumbing, and are operated by Aspire Contracting Ltd PTY. In short they are the same company running under different names.

We contacted Dan’s Plumbing for a quote, Ferguson’s Plumbing turned up on the day.
These guys installed a small drainage pit for us with approximately 2 metres of piping to connect to our existing stormwater.

We didn’t do our homework. We wore the bill, never questioned it, never asked for our money back. No fragile masculinity here. My partner and I have always been able to say we have moral integrity. Shame on us!

Their tradesmen are friendly and top notch. The first 2 worked til 6pm, which we were really impressed with.

The 1 star review is not a reflection of those tradesmen.

The 1 star review is for their customer service team.

After receiving their original 2 star review on TrustPilot, Ferguson’s Plumbing Group used their verified business account to respond. And how did they respond? By openly posting out names, address and contact details, for all to see and then making accusations that we abused them, demanded money, and even threw in the word “blackmail.”

We have posted the screenshot on productreview dot com dot au. Just look for the review by Cassady R under Ferguson’s Plumbing. We can and will continue to prove all of this happened and this is a true and authentic review.

Imagine if a company like Temu, Amazon, any company for that matter went out making personal attacks over a 2 star review. Imagine the backlash! Imagine if all of a sudden a news station or A Current Affair found out? Poor little Temu would receive quite the backlash. Their reputation, damaged!

This is a prime example of why businesses/companies shouldn’t leave chimpanzees in charge of their social media. Under QLD law you can be awarded up to $250,000 for civil defamation. And I don’t know about you guys, but I’m pretty sure the claims made by Ferguson’s Plumbing Group, might fall into the category of defamation… what do you think?

We did however receive a letter from their legal team though. *Fact*

The letter addressed our TrustPilot review. Said we couldn’t use specific “phrases” and “words.” So guess what?! Here is a review without them.

We will be contacting the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner. Unfortunately you need to give 30 days for companies to respond before you can lodge your complaint. *Fact*

Always ask tradesmen, plumbers, sparkies, brickies, etc, from any company to send you through a quote to your email so you can have a think about it and get back to them in a day or so. If they can’t or won’t, maybe ask yourself why… *Generalised statement about any tradesperson.*

Consumers should get to know any plumbing company and their history before ever engaging.

Update:

Ferguson’s Plumbing has made multiple attempts at having this review removed.

Office of Fair Trade contacted the company. After the company told them some weird story about CCTV drain cameras, which never happened, Ferguson’s offered us $1672 as a “Goodwill payment” but there were going to be “terms of settlement.”

We immediately declined the offer knowing terms would more than likely involve removing the negative reviews and the screenshots of their company’s verified account making defamatory accusations and breaching our privacy by posting all of our personal information.

We were then advised to continue with our pursuit using the OAIC, ensuring to give Ferguson’s the 30 days to discuss the matter, as well as continue the civil defamation matter in regards to the company’s online publication about us.

30 Days have passed, still no response. The cowardly behaviour was predicted, so we contacted the OAIC. Turns out at the same time the Federal Government is passing legislation that outlaws doxxing. This means once the OAIC gets back to us we will be able to proceed with criminal charges! Yay!
