Extremely Disappointed After More Than 13 Years as Loyal Customers!
We have been loyal customers for over 13 years, maintaining excellent driving records with no accidents, speeding tickets, or major insurance claims. The only recent claims we made were for two windshield replacements totaling approximately $900, neither of which was our fault.
Despite our excellent history, our insurance premiums just instantly increased by a shocking 43%!
To make matters worse, our experience with customer service representative Sabrina Smithson was extremely disappointing and unprofessional. During our conversation, I could hear laughter on the other end of the line. She also made a comment about how the company had paid for our windshield replacements, as though we should be grateful for receiving the coverage we have been paying for all these years.
Excuse me, but isn’t that exactly what insurance is for? We have faithfully paid our premiums for more than 13 years without major claims. Insurance companies don’t simply give customers money out of generosity. We pay for coverage, and when legitimate claims arise, we expect that coverage to be honored without being made to feel guilty.
We have bundled our auto, homeowners, and life insurance policies, paying more than $6,000 annually to this company for these past few years. Estimated giving them more than $50,000 in premiums over 13 years, and this is how our loyalty and responsible driving are rewarded?
A 43% premium increase, dismissive customer service, and a complete lack of appreciation for longtime customers.
Loyalty should mean something. Safe driving should mean something. Treating customers with professionalism and respect should be the bare minimum.
After more than 13 years, we are seriously questioning why we should continue giving our hard-earned money to a company that treats loyal, responsible customers this way.
If you’re considering this insurance company, think carefully about how longtime customers may be treated when they actually need to use the coverage they’ve been paying for.
