We live in central London.
This is supposed to be a great benefit offered by companies to their employees but this service does not work anymore. It used to be great but recently it is just appalling. Either they dont find a nanny or they find a nanny and then the nanny cancel. They are not reliable at all.. It did happen more than once and then we are left with nothing.

Lindita, the family support worker who were allocated for my family is a down-to-earth, humble and extremely helpful individual who helped and supported my family through one of the most extremely difficult period of our life.

She is a good hearted person who is very caring and we will always be thankful to her and to the Family Support team for understanding our needs and for providing us the necessary support.

Many many thanks to the Family Support team, your support was vital for my family at a time of need. Thank you.

Family support did exactly that, supported our family following a crisis. Their support enabled myself & my children to find a way through a challenging time so that we could continue to support ourselves going forward. The Support Worker was particularly helpful in validating my children’s experience, allowing them to feel heard & understood which was as vital in their healing. I would like to thank the service for all the support given, it made a big difference to my family.

I had a lovely family support worker Portia I was having a lot of concerns with my daughter at school and her confidence in general so I had made a self referral to family support as I was finding it abit difficult to deal with I was contacted and we went from there was a very quick and efficient process. I was given a support worker who made contact with me via phone we spoke she was very polite and welcoming which made me feel very comfortable and less anxious as I was abit worried about having family support in my life she explained to me what the role of her job was and we arranged to start having telephone calls and then went on to video call before we actually met in person the process was done well. I feel that having the family support worker helped my family a lot it resolved my issues I was having with my daughter and helped her to understand things a lot more clearer coming from an outsider as teenage kids sometimes act up with parents I feel that the time spent was beneficial and has made me feel a lot more confident if I need help in the future regarding the kids. My kids got on really well with the support worker they actually always was looking forward to her coming so they could have there session so it was a shame that we had to come to an end but at least I can say that she was very helpful always explained things properly so was always clear every step of the way even with the kids. I do wish there was more time with her as my daughters worked with her so well one of my daughters don’t really like to talk much but after this she has become a lot more confident and more out Spoken thanks to this lovely lady I really appreciated working with here and would recommend her to anyone she really knows her job and how to deal with challenging situations.

I had a lovely support worker called Andrea who referred me to Ruth at the children’s centre and she was so lovely and so supportive by helping me into motherhood and giving me advice and listening to me. It was so nice to be heard and respected. I was made welcome being a first time mum and a teenager it was comforting having the support to help my baby develop and give me an understanding of how to give my daughter the best start in life. All the team at the children’s centre are so welcoming and lovely.

The family support team are lovely. They were really welcoming on the phone and immediately on entering. The children's centre has a great range of toys and is a lovely environment for babies to play. They were also very understanding and supportive when my baby was tired and crying. We discussed my struggles with breastfeeding and recurrent blocked ducts and Chermaine was really kind staying back after the session to watch me breastfeeding. It was the first time anyone observed me feed for several months and she immediately noticed I was really tense, bracing myself for pain. She was so helpful in helping me optimise my feeding position and I immediately felt more relaxed with a better latch. Very thankful for her help in person, which has been transformative!

Emma was a very good family supporter she was very kind and helpful.
She did everything she could to help us and she made a lot of improvements in our family

I would like to thank the Family Support Services and in particular my social worker Portia for her support and understanding. She always kept every session professional and always had an answer for all my questions. She was very helpful during this difficult period of my life and she helped me to always keep my head up and move forward. She showed and taught me many
important and different life skills to help me grow as a young decent person. I could not ask for a better support and I really would like to say, thank you Portia for everything.

Great support from margo. She is very professional and very helpful and supportive towards me and my daughter. Very fast worker. Got things done ASAP. I would highly recommend her. Amazing woman

My son attended their settling in to school sessions and they were great

The support that my son and I have received from Family Support has been invaluable. My son’s difficulties have been acknowledged and understood with incredible care and compassion and I have been taught some great strategies to help him at home. Family Support have liaised with my son’s school throughout and assisted with putting a care plan together for him at school. I couldn’t have asked for more. I will always be so incredibly grateful to Family Support. Thank you.

The time we had with the support worker was amazing, my daughter found it easy to talk about how she was feeling and this helped with her moving forward, with me i never felt I needed to keep anything back I could speak freely I never felt i was on my own the support you done for family is amazing and the support worker that I had was amazing at her job and for those who still need her are lucky. just like to say thank you

Family Support were able to provide summer support for families from our setting who may have found this period challenging in terms of childcare and general well-being. Claire was friendly, thorough, organised and I recommend the service she and her colleagues provide.

Alana’s support to my family and I has been absolutely amazing. Alana went above and beyond to support my family and I during some difficult times and we really appreciate it. Thank you Alana for your hard work !!!
