charged for my order when what I wanted was not in stock then tried to convince me to buy something else from their site instead of a refund . I wanted something specific and had explained that . the order process itself was over complicated too . won't be back

Wedding Party
We hosted a meal for our daughter’s wedding in the Dining Room in Fallon and Byrne. It was extraordinary and beyond our expectations. Apart from the food (which was exceptional – everybody raved about the scallops as starters; and the steaks and cod as the main courses) it was the service that made this meal exceptional. I cannot remember being at a meal where the staff were so attentive: they were ever-present yet unobtrusive in their timing of service and especially when topping up the wine. All of the staff were outstanding, and I hesitate to single individuals out, but have to say that the service provided by Sarah was unbelievably good: from the preparation, to the attention to detail, to the selection and pairing of the wines: I cannot praise her enough. All the others, including Sabryna and the waiting staff, and Dee and her colleagues in the Wine Cellar, were brilliant also. Our guests were full of praise and we are deeply indebted to everyone in Fallon and Byrne.

Very disappointed
Starters were tasteless , 20 euro for 3 tiny scallops with no flavour at all.For the mains I ordered a rib eye steak. 42 euro and was nearly cold coming out. Tiny pot of sauce with it. The waiter also forgot to give us bread when we first arrived, so he brought it down with the mains...
My wife had chicken terrine for a starter which was also tasteless. Her main was cod with shrimp , this was also luke warm.
Deserts were OK. Sorbet and a chocolate cake.
Overall very overpriced and disappointed with food ! A shame.

Was a first time I did online order, I always visit the shop when get the chance to pass nearby. When I visit the site I discovered that they do deliver as well what I find very handy specially when you need a couple more things. The order was easy to work and the delivery was exactly on next day. Amazing. Just one product was missing from my list but I email and they refunded regarding being out of stock. A long time I love thus store and I'm a big fan of the best products related to food. And Fallon and Byrne has great gourmet international products. Great store and swift reply. Thank you.
