Have been looking for a decent dog…
Have been looking for a decent dog harness for ages. I recently 'dog sat' for a neighbour, his dog had a Ezydog harness that looked the biz, so I checked it out on the internet and bought one myself. Its so easy to adjust and fit (unlike the one it replaces). No longer does my dog have to wear it 24/7 due to the difficulty fitting, this ones a doddle and a reasonable price - you get what you pay for these days and in this instance you do seem to get a lot.

Bought a harness for my puppy
Update based on reply from seller- so they're saying the plastic is basically dog proof and wouldn't show any teeth marks if chewed to the point that the strap inside the plastic is almost entirely severed? Nonsense lol.
I'm glad a lot of people have good experiences with this company but in my mind, the measure of a good company is a lot about how they deal with issues that arise. Every company will have products that have issues here and there, it's to be expected no matter how well made etc. something generally is. The companies comments suggest my problem is not a genuine issue and passes off blame instead of just owning up to the fact that defects occur. I'm sure my money won't be missed but I'll find a brand that better deals with genuine problems and doesn't try to skirt them.
They were faster to respond to my negative review than they were to my genuine query.

Bought a harness for my puppy. Put it on her for one short walk and immediately took it off on return. The strap inside one of the adjustment sliders was ripped almost all the way through.
The company insists this must be due to my puppy having chewed through it. This isn't possible because the ripped part was inside the plastic slider and the plastic part isn't chewed.
They've said, "A dog mouthing on it can happen in seconds and unfortunately where dogs teeth are designed to chew webbing it not match for them." Put aside the fact that the dog didn't chew it and it was probably a faulty item since it ripped inside one of the plastic bits where the dog couldn't have chewed it, their response doesn't exactly suggest their items are particularly durable or good quality does it? I've got a ratty old leash from the days when she *did* chew on her lead constantly and it's still far more intact than this harness, which was used for about an hour.
Can't recommend them at all.

We want to clarify that, due to the legally binding sale of purchase made through the original chain seller and the absence of a direct purchase from us, we are not liable for issuing refunds or replacements. As you did not claim a receipt from the seller, this is something you must discuss with them.
Regarding the signs of chewing, while we understand your concern, it's essential to note that the damage observed was indicative of a chewing marks.
The possibility of the product being previously used or returned to the store is possible. However, it's crucial to understand that our liability is limited to the condition of the product at the time of sale. Any issues arising post-purchase may be subject to the policies of the original seller.
We appreciate your concern regarding the plastic part of the harness. However, it's important to clarify that our products are designed to withstand typical usage, including the potential for chewing. Just because there was no chewing on the plastic, does not claim the harness was never chewed. We cannot guarantee against damage caused by improper use or handling.

Your picture showcased no signs of chewing on the plastic, we're simply reiterating the earlier point you made. Our plastic adjusters are by no means chew proof, however yours showed no sign of this.
As we stated earlier, and must reiterate, you did not take your receipt for your purchase with the original seller. We can not assist you further, due to the legally binding sale of purchase. We advise you to go back to the seller.
This product has won countless awards and been around for over 25 years, altered and adjusted throughout the years, however it has not been updated within the last 10 years.
We do genuinely value your feedback and appreciate the opportunity to clarify our position. Please feel free to reach out to us directly, we do urge you to also contact the store you purchased from.

Really not good
Really not good, purchased a collar that came undone 3 times leaving my dog to run free! Was advised to take back to where I purchased it from which was unfortunately 250 miles away, purchased while away on holiday. Ezydog asked if it had slipped over his head! Couldn’t help but laugh - they must think
I’m stupid! Gave up in the end, will go back to my reliable supplier!

We're really sorry to hear about your experience with our products.
This concern has been handle internally and due to the legally binding sale of purchase with an alternative supplier, we are unable to proceed further. The shop in where you originally purchased from is one of our many trusted pet stores. They are more than happy to find a resolution if you would be willing to contact them.
We are concerned about any fault with our products and take the safety of the animals using them very seriously. As you are unwilling to send us any images of the product then we are not able to progress this or offer any resolution.
It is worth mentioning that our customer service advisor requested a picture of the broken product in question, to which you replied: "Don't worry about it, but if this happens to another dog they could run off and get hit by a car", this doesn't help us, or you solve the problem.
The customer service advisor attempted to find a resolut for you as previously mentioned. We're more than happy to further investigate this issue if you are willing to provide us with the information requested. Until then, you will need to resolve matters with the pet store, due to the legally binding sale of purchase.

The waterproof light that isn't waterproof
Not impressed with ezy dog customer service. Paid £30 for a dog light that when ordered claimed on Amazon that it was waterproof. The first one lasted a while and when it stopped working they sent us a second one however this stopped working almost immediately after the dog went for a swim. Now ezydog have changed the description on the website and removed the term "waterproof". To be honest without the term waterproof it's hard to justify 30 pound for a dog light when there are lots of others that are water resistant for much less. Looks like they are trying to get out of a refund by now saying the light isn't waterproof when the description for the one we ordered in October clearly states that it is. It looks like I may have to get Amazon to intervene in order to get a refund.
Edit - in response to the reply. Had the original description not stated waterproof but only water resistant I would not have purchased it. I did contact seller directly via Amazon but was fobbed off and I got a refund directly from Amazon after returning it which is why I left the review. The light itself is very good when it works but I do think that if it isn't truly waterproof than it is a bit overpriced. Last year we originally had one of the old models with the removable battery and that was definitely waterproof however when we purchased the replacement package to put the battery in the waterproofing was lost despite the addition of a seal.

Useful treat pouch, but liner split.
Delivery was quite quick and the product is as described. However, there was no email to say the package had been dispatched and was on its way. The treat pouch is very useful and has space for treats, poo bags, whistle etc. The waist straps are strong and very easy to adjust to adjust the size, for example when wearing a thicker coat. However, after a while, the lining of the treat compartment split, leaving a sharp bit of metal which stabbed my fingers when reaching for a treat.

I can’t see us getting another type of harness now!
We bought the Ezydog quick fit harness and I’ve been amazed!
We were just looking for a new harness, but somehow our pup is pulling less with this one!
It’s also super easy to fit! I can’t see us using any other harness now.

Multicoloured "headlight"…
Purchased a multicoloured "headlight" for our Cavapoochon. It was the second purchase of the light as we bought one for the Cavachon in early autumn as the evenings became darker.
The light is compact and easy to attach, giving a bright light which has attracted positive comments from many other dog walkers. It recharges easily via the cable that was supplied with it, and the charge lasts for about 3 one hour walks on solid light. Flashing gives longer .
A good purchase which should give years of service.
