I'm very disappointed with the Evergreen Life app. It's confusing, poorly organised and unreliable.

The app frequently has loading and login issues, and the website doesn't offer the same services as the app. My request history is incomplete, and I can see responses from my GP but not my original messages. Navigation is inconsistent, and even basic features are unnecessarily difficult to find.

What concerns me most is having to rely on such an unreliable app for my healthcare. Contacting my GP is already difficult, and patients are often directed to use the app as their main way of communicating. I've experienced repeated problems, and now I can't even find a way to send a new request to my GP.

It's extremely frustrating when you're dealing with ongoing health concerns and your main communication tool doesn't work properly.

Healthcare access should be simple, reliable and accessible, not another obstacle for patients. This app seriously needs improvement.

So seven days on still no response to the email address’hello’ that surgery and evergreen gave me in response to in ability to reach DriQ
Marketed as improved however how can I use it access it when they ignore me

I had been having difficulty for several days with an app trying to connect to my GP practice, partly due to a wrong digit in my phone number. However, R made contact and it took him nearly 40 minutes to sort me out (I am technologically challenged). His patience was exemplary and professional, and his instructions clear despite my slowness in comprehension. He must have found me very frustrating, but he never showed it. A very enjoyable experience.

My issue is not with the app per se but the fact that GPs are using it to create a barrier between the patient and them.

I can make a request on Evergreen okay, but I am then told by my surgery that it will take UP TO 5 DAYS before the request is even read. At the same time, the practice refuses to allow patients to make appointments by phone or in person. So, having pushed us on to the app because "it makes things faster", we learn that it slows everything down by 5 days.

I requested additional medicines via the app because I was going on holiday. I got a message on the app saying this was referred to the practice pharmacist. He emailed me four days later for more details and I replied. I then heard nothing in the next 17 days. On the app the request was marked as "completed".

The problem with this app is not, in my view, the app itself. If it were offered alongside other communication services it would be a good thing. Unfortunately, it is being used by health centres to remove other faster, more efficient communication services. Evergreen does not make things faster in practice. On the contrary, it makes things very much slower, and allows administrators to mark cases as resolved when they have never been addressed.

Evergreen has become unusable.
The app is absolutely full of spam — constant “medical score” pop‑ups and pointless notifications that bury the actual important stuff. I even had a GP surgery stop offering phone appointments because we’re all being pushed onto this app.

Trying to cancel an appointment took me half an hour because I had to fight through endless spam just to reach the right screen. I work in tech, and even I struggled. I can’t imagine how difficult this must be for elderly patients or anyone with disabilities.

I told my GP I was changing surgeries — not because of anything they did wrong medically, but because we’re being forced to use this app and they don’t offer online booking outside of it. The receptionist told me I could “turn off notifications”, but that defeats the whole purpose. Patients need notifications for prescriptions, messages, and appointments — not spam on the first page about your health score.

This app desperately needs the developers to remove the spam and make it genuinely accessible for all patients. Right now, it’s getting in the way of healthcare, not helping it.

I had to phone the GP to cancel a doctors appointment because evergreen told me I had no permission??????? So the surgery teach us how to use it.

The app is appallingly non-intuitive to use. It is incapable of remembering login details, and every time you need to go back to the home page (or indeed any other part o the app) it makes you login again with email and password. This happens all the time and makes using the app very frustrating.

Menus are not clear, and there are often no options to just request a GP appointment. Please sort the login issue.

It's the most disjointed experience ever.
You've got to log in multiple times.
Biometric login fails.
The website and App are not sync'd - so one doesn't keep the login information.
A complete shambles of a user experience.
No doubt, the NHS were charged Millions for this heap of rubbish..

cant give a negative -0 but this is masked as unknown certificates , it does not give appointments it does not let you book it is another useless app that is not welcome , we use the nhs app which has trusted certificates and this one will be blocked from our phones and pc ....rubbish , outdated ,and possibly dangerous
