Unsafe service, damaged bike, and £429.60 withheld despite work not delivered
I paid Eskuta £300 for a full service, plus £129.60 for associated parts. What I received was unsafe, incomplete, and damaging. The engineer left my brake in an unsafe condition, failed to complete the service checklist, and caused damage that made the parts I paid for completely unusable. My original bike was safe before the appointment — the safety issue only appeared after their engineer worked on it.
Eskuta later replaced the bike, but this was the bare minimum, because the replacement only addressed the damage their engineer caused. It does not resolve the financial loss from the failed service or the unusable parts. A replacement bike is not a refund for a service that wasn’t delivered.
What is most concerning is that Eskuta is still trying to retain £429.60 in total — £300 for a full service that wasn’t delivered, and £129.60 for parts that became unusable because of the damage caused by their engineer. Their proposed remedy was conditional and would have caused significant inconvenience, which is not compliant with the Consumer Rights Act. At every stage I acted reasonably and gave them opportunities to resolve the issue, but they refused to provide a fair remedy.
I am now having to pursue this through my bank because Eskuta will not refund a service they failed to deliver and damage they caused. This has been an extremely disappointing experience, and I cannot recommend their service based on what I’ve been through.

Absolute shocking customer service had repair done on my bike they have destroyed my bike now doesn't power up the bike is ruined now despite contacting them several times they simply just avoid responding terrible company my advice to anyone avoid these clowns
Absolutely shocking support and poor quality bike
Absolutely shocking support. And to be fair, the lack of support when things go wrong with this bike, I would just look at alternative bike. I bought my Eskuta back in August 2024, and during this time ive had, screw threading on one brake resovoir fail on its first removal. The Threads in the other resovoir fail on its first brake maintenance. Infact most screws and bolts fail and the threading wears down quite quickly making putting bolts and screws back on impossible after continuring maintenance over the 18 months Ive had the bike. Numerous times Ive contacted Eskuta for support and been ignored. Some parts arent actually advertised on their online shop, but google will find pages for replacement parts not in their shop, that you can purchase, at very high prices with a standard £10 delivery charge! The part not available, despite emailing Eskuta have had alternative parts sourced from Amazon at half the price. The Costs of the bike keeps going up while the quality never increases and is just made of cheap metal. But having said that, if you dont mind the headache, the poor support, and quality, having indicators, headlights, and an immobiliser and alarm - and the large 56kg bike make it a low target for thieves. It is fun to ride.
I bought it one month ago
I bought it one month ago. The only problem I saw is the range: I'm 13 stones and it goes for about 30-32 miles on a charge. Today, due to the kindness and understanding of Eskuta staff, I've got a spare battery, brand new, for no extra cost. Which is a life changer. Would like to take the opportunity to thank the Eskuta staff for their outstanding customer service. Really grateful!

I never had an issue with eskuta yes parts are expensive same as fuel and call out fees but I have 3 bikes emails are okay at times but all ways resolved by phone and repairs are great and carried out to high standards so no issues
It’s my worst experience to buy this…
It’s my worst experience to buy this bike. I buy bike for delivery . They said it’s 40-50 miles but battery runs just 20-25 miles . .. then After just 5 days my rear tire is got punctured. No one any ready to fix this bike.. repairs my tire after 10 days at very high cost. Then after 2 days the same tire is again punctured .. it’s just scam.. even I ordered new extra battery they take 3 weeks to delivered … it’s a scam company.. they charge 2000 pounds for just a toy bike….its not reliable.. its just like a toy and we pay 2000 huge money …. Their customer service also do nothing… It’s a terrible experience for me.. know I want to sale my bike and no body want to buy this bike.. it’s all scam now I feel I just wasted my 2300 pounds 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭…. It’s all shit we all are fool… so I never suggested this bike .. it’s just a toy..
Amazing service by the delivery driver and all the team
Amazing service. Ordered and delivered within 7/8 days. Fast delivery and perfect tutorial on how to use the features by the delivery guy. I believe it was nick, I might be wrong but he was a legend in updating me with timing of delivery to showing me all the main features and a test ride.
Boycott Eskuta
Eskuta is suppose to offer a replacement bike so the customer doesn’t go without transport they do not care about customers been without transport for 1 month now there’s no communication between the customer and themselves. Honestly no one go for this company they want more and more customers and don’t care about the customers they have
In August 2021
In August 2021, I paid £500 toward an e-bike. I later cancelled the order, and in my experience I was not provided with any contract or terms and conditions at the time. I also did not receive the refund I expected after cancelling.
Instead, I was told my £500 would be held on account until I wanted to purchase another bike. Recently, when I was finally ready to order, Eskuta refused to let me use the £500 they had been holding for over three years. I still have not received my money back.
I have tried repeatedly to resolve this directly with the company but have been unable to get a satisfactory outcome. I am now having to escalate the matter through Citizens Advice and a Section 75 claim with my card issuer.
This has been a very frustrating experience, and I would urge others to be cautious and make sure everything is clearly documented before making a payment.

Terrible idea for delivery
I have bought Eskuta from someone who bought it from new September 2020, and he never used it for 5 years untill I bought it from him on Thursday 18th September 2025, first look it looks all what I need legal electric bike for delivery, however, I charged the battery overnight and take it to do some delivery, is not smooth operational, when I start from stopping point its very difficult to get the motor kicks in, which makes have to paddle fast to get it going, after a couple of deliveries the speed started getting low and every time the bar goes down the speed goes down and battery didn't last for 20 miles. Terrible idea for delivery

Once again lied to by Escuta office
Once again lied to by Escuta office! They called me on 06/26/2025 to try to point the finger at me for saying that everything I said was not true… Damn, why do they have such amateurs who are just looking for reasons why something won't be fixed or shouldn't be fixed. The missing bolts were there, but when they delivered it, they weren't there. I asked where the delivery report was, which shows what was done and checked? In general, I received a promise that they would send me the missing bolts and screws and a new seat, because I still have the broken one, but I was only left with the promise!!!

I bought my bike in august 2024, i crashed it into bush by accident and did quite allot of damage.
I phoned Eskuta and i spoke to lovely lady called Ruth who worked in Customer Service, she was brilliant!
She had an the engineer ' Harry' ring me the next day. he told me me what was broken and ruth sorted out getting it fixed for me the next week!

I have ordered some parts for my bike…
I have ordered some parts for my bike paid 311£ waited 4 weeks time been I have call every week!!! 1st answer we have some issues with the courier 2nd we had some issues with the bank 3rd going to be posted tomorrow! I just give up asked for my money back ! So I got the bike but can't use spend lots of money!! So every one think twice before you buy any bikes of them!!! No money no bike in the end bike seats in the garage!!!
Customer Services Ignores Emails Asking Advice
I paid over £1600 for this bike but customer services just ignore one’s emails. I have emailed 3 times asking for advise to replace the crank with a shorter length, as due to a hip problem I cannot reach the pedal on the right side at 30 minutes past and hurts my hip at o clock (clock face equivalent). I had a similar issue with my tricycle, but in contrast the seller was very helpful, allowing a local bike shop to fit a shorter length crank. No replies or help from Eskuta, yet every week I get an email from them about sales!

I have been a Eskuta customer since as early as 2019 , i currently own the latest Eskuta SX-250 series 4 ( best colour option gloss red ) with a 48v 26a battery ( good for 50+ miles ) the 12 month warranty they provide is top notch all the staff are very professional & they get things sorted very fast so any warranty issues , like a faulty battery or smaller issues like a faulty charger , Eskuta will replace it free of charge via a quick straight forward warranty support form , when submitted a Eskuta approve engineer will then phone you within 12-24hrs to get your issue dealt with, this is why I will be a lifetime customer I have never seen a company treat there customers bike issues with such a professional manner , unheard of for most e-bike companies that are UK based as well , my series 4 that I have right now has never had a single issue , I have covered in excess of 2,600 miles with not one single breakdown in under 6 months , just keep up with you regular maintenance & you won’t come across any major issues , I have owned all the Eskuta SX-250 models that they have sold , I must say the SX-250 series 4 is by far the best model I have owned , very comfortable to ride so you can ride 3-5+ hrs none stop & not get Lower back pain or leg cramps & very good if you do fast food delivery like myself , just make sure you purchase 1-2 more battery & you can work 10-12hr shifts 5 days a week no problem , so here the plus side to owning a Eskuta I can’t ride a single day without at least one person stopping me to take photos or ask details about it , it’s also kind of great because I also run & own a exclusive facebook group called - Eskuta SX-250 exclusive club - witch I opened in April 2023 witch now has over 440 Eskuta members & growing larger by each week that goes by , feel free to join the exclusive facebook group that I run , all the Eskuta staff are members so even when they are closed over the weekends you can report issues faster even on the weekends the staff will reply to posts or comments so it’s like a 24/7 customer service , not to mention the discounts on spare bike parts , or heavy discounts on brand new bikes they also do hire to own bikes with lots of benefits , like free insurance plus warranty free helmet & secure locks , but on the plus side if they can’t fix your bike at your house , then they will pass over a replacement bike so your back on the road the same day , while they take your bike back to Eskuta HQ to repair to a high professional standard then return your bike in a short time frame , so trust me it’s fantastic 😁😁👌👌
