Fantastic service from purchase through…

Fantastic service from purchase through to installation. Sue was very helpful and informative in the showroom and did her upmost to meet our time schedule.
Jake & Ryan completed the installation. Special thanks to Jake who not only installed with care but gave me some much needed inspiration for the ‘pulpit’ development!

From starting to look right through to…

From starting to look right through to delivery the staff at escape hot tubs have been great with giving us all the right information with everyday use and maintenance would definitely recommend for initial purchase and there aftercare and warranty is also worth it

A fantastic experience from the initial…

A fantastic experience from the initial call right up to seeing the installation lads off.

The product was as described, very well priced & expertly installed by a very competent & professional team, the sales process was easy, Sue was very polite, helpful, and communication was great throughout.

I would highly recommend this company.

"GREAT ESCAPE EXPERIENCE"

From the moment we first contacted escape hot tubs they have been fantastic to us,from delivering our tub on time (at short notice too),over the phone advice when needed (usually for minor "first time tubber" problems) to arranging annual services.Very reasonable prices for tubs and accessories,great after sales(thankyou Sue),polite,efficient engineers.Ryan Tingle you have a very good company here ,so glad we came to you

12 months annual service

Chris came today to service my hot tub. It was an annual 12 month service and Chris was great in advising me how to look after my hot tub, and some great tips, how to clean my filter.
Chris is a five star engineer and is really learning his trade. Well done Chris.

We have had the hot tub for less than a…

We have had the hot tub for less than a year and it has broken twice by over heating. It had gone up to 42 degrees ( obviously not good with the cost of electricity) and didn't even cut off which is a concern as I was told that it should cut out at 40. First time the main control panel was replaced and they blamed it on a possible power surge and replaced it with an upgraded version. It lasted about 4 months and it happened again, this time they just said we were 'unlucky'. They replaced control panel again but then we were left with a Flo error message. Now waiting for the heater to be replaced! We've had no use of the tub now for over 2 weeks so will probably need emptying and refilling ( which is not cheap) the customer aftercare is basically if you pay us £299 we will service it so it then gets another years warranty on main parts. How can you not have extra warranty when it hasn't lasted longer than about 5 months each time. Cost a lot of money for something that just keeps breaking, ( and costing us more money ) we bought it as a treat for ourselves but wish we had not bothered.

We understand your frustration with the recent issues you've encountered with your hot tub, and we sincerely apologise for any inconvenience this may have caused. We'd like to address some of the concerns you've raised.

Firstly, we want to clarify that we are not the manufacturer of the hot tub, and we do not have control over the manufacturer's warranty policies. However, we are committed to providing excellent customer service, and we do our best to assist our customers even when warranty claims are involved. We offer our time for free to repair hot tubs, even when the warranty is limited to parts only.

Regarding the over-heating issue, we completely understand your concern about the temperature not cutting off at 40 degrees as expected. The initial replacement of the main control box was performed in response to what seemed like a power surge, and the upgraded version was installed to prevent a recurrence of the issue. We are sorry to hear that the problem resurfaced after four months, and we appreciate your patience during this process.

Regarding our customer aftercare options, we offer the service package to extend the warranty on main parts for an additional year. We understand your concern about the frequent issues, and we'll certainly take your feedback into consideration as we continue to evaluate and improve our offerings.

In regard to the recent repair appointment, we appreciate your willingness to reschedule for a more convenient time upon your return from holiday as we were limited to 30 minutes upon arrival at the previous appointment, your hot tub will need draining, parts fitting and refilling - having a service at the same time will minimise the need to waste water.

Poor customer service

This company fitted my heat pump and when hot tub was turned on the fitters said our hot tub pump was faulty they wanted to charge over £700 to fit a new one
I rejected that got another company to come and fit one at a cost of £350
Then once fitted it was found that the heat pump was not fitted properly one valve which should have been turned on was in fact turned off this was the problem and not my hot tub pump also flexi pipe work was fitted and it should have been a solid pipe work
They left rubbish inside my hot tub which they should have taken away
I am now starting legal action against this company
Use at you peril nothing but a waste of time and money

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us. We value your input and would like to provide some additional context for other readers.

The hot tub to which we fitted the air source heat pump was already aged, and the twin-speed pump, which functions at low speed as a circulation pump and high speed as a jet pump, was not performing optimally. It exhibited noise issues, bearing damage and struggled to handle the increased demand caused by the addition of the heat pump.

On the day of installation, we recommended changing the twin-speed pump and provided a quote of £540 for both the pump and the fitting. It's worth noting that the other company you mentioned initially fitted a single-speed pump, later needing to replace it with a twin-speed pump, likely explaining the lower price they offered.

Regarding the valve that was closed on the bypass kit, this action was part of the initial testing process to ensure a 100% water flow through the air source heat pump. During a revisit, the valve settings would have been adjusted to fine-tune water flow and maximise heating efficiency.

Our use of flexi pipe in the bypass kit is consistent with industry standards, as long as it doesn't have to bear the weight between the hot tub and the heat pump. Flexi pipe enhances water flow without the need for excessive angled fittings.

The leftover insulation you discovered inside the hot tub was left there unintentionally due to unfavourable weather conditions during the installation. We sincerely apologised for this oversight, and if we had returned to complete the installation before you disposed of the old hot tub, we would have certainly rectified this issue as well.

We have offered to return for free to fit the heat pump to your new hot tub when you had that installed as a gesture of goodwill.

Not as good as last time ..

The man was nice that came, however, the internal filters still had a lot of debris / white stuff stuck to the three internal filters (in the main seating area) which we are told could be due to putting in too much chlorine in- I would have hoped this would have been removed as part of the £380 service …

Thank you for the review, I have reviewed the pictures, video and report from the technicians from the day of the service and unfortunately the issue you are having is a common problem associated with calcium build up and over-sanitisation, this leaves a scale buildup inside the pipework over time, the hot tub flush that will kill off any lurking bacteria and remove biofilm will not remove the scale but sometimes will soften it during a service, when the tub is filled again and jets turned on for the first time you may get this white scale and debris in the water.

Our engineer stayed on the service for a full 5 hours instead of the usual 3 to try and capture as much as possible along with draining the hot tub down again for you.

We do recommend using a scale inhibitor or product like O-Care to eliminate these issues, feel free to call on 01909 319009 for advice and water care options.

Tub Service

Booked and order a service for the tub, really helpful throughout the whole process. Engineer who attended went above and beyond, finishing in the booked afternoon service into the early evening.

This is how customer service is supposed to be, will definitely be using again and again.
