My girlfriend purchased a model 20 which she has had nearly two years in May this year there seemed to be a problem with the throttle which had movement /play so had to be pushed inward for it to engage with I thought was dangerous when trying to ride after months of emails and having to send them videos as evidence that there was a problem they offer to send a throttle but not the right one for the model 20 and was told to get someone to fit it even though the bike was still under warranty have emailed Tim on several attempts to try to sort out I have tried many company's in the North West but no one will touch it .I emailed Tim to say could they collect the bike and fit the part themselves git a email say it would cost 130 to get it transported to them which they expect us to pay even though on there Web site on the warranty it states they will send out a engineer or in some cases will collect the bike for repair I have phoned a few times this week trying to speak to Tim or now been told Ken about getting this sorted as this has now been going on nearly four months they may sound like a good company but and the bikes seem good when it comes to any problems or repairs they don't seem to care unless your willing to pay or sort yourself now waiting for Ken to reply see if he can sortanything out we will see so if any one asked if I would recommend erider I dont think I would as the bikes might be OK but the customer repairs team don't care just seem to fob you off so unless you wa t to waste around £1500 on a electric bike that's has a two year warranty that is as much use as a chocolate fire guard be warned

After 18 months....owner of a Roma 30 …
I write this as an owner of a Roma 30 bought 18 months ago.
The bike and the tech are great.... I love it.
However, customer service which others have commented on is largely accurate.
I had an issue with my charger and an incorrect one sent.
The emails from a certain individual are disrespectful borderline rude and obnoxious.
I'm a fan of Erider and their products, I promote them to many as my bike gets a fair amount of attention.
I'm sure Ken has worked very hard to build this firm. But 1-2 need training in customer services.
NIGHTMARE!
NIGHTMARE!! customer service was very unhelpful he was extremely rude and disrespectful, he suggested a battery that wasnt the correct one, then he blaimed us for the mistake! He provided incorrect address for return and take two days to give us the correct address.. he told us to order the correct battery without even check if was in stock.. i called him and told that battery was out of stock, then he said that he would have sourced a battery.. i had to chase again and then eventually he got back to us saying that the one he found were not working.. in the end he told that he cannot provide the battery and without any suggestions for where to buy.. told us you must look for it on the internet!!

Ordered my e-rider on a Saturday and received on the following Tuesday have enjoyed using it as gets me to work in less than an hour where it took me up to 3 hours by public transport well worth it's price will pay for it's self in less than a year
I like the bike but it has 2 not nice…
I like the bike but it has 2 not nice features.
Firstly the handlebars do not have a locking feature with the key.
Secondly the pedals clash with the passenger's footrest. It would be bettwr if the footrest was moved back and up.
Lastly I am trying to find where to insure it.
I was pointed to Lexham (and others) but either the model 18 is not on their list or they say that they it has to be registered with a number plate.
Where can I insure it?

Fast acceptance for direct debit slow communication between paying deposit and confirmation of delivery but great communication from delivery driver we had it delivered partially built and wasn’t too difficult to assemble purchased model 18 great bike for getting to and from work would highly recommend

I'm not happy with the E Rider
E Rider Newday Credit Card
Sent review soon after delivery after bike was delivered with bolts loose bits missing etc… on Jan 26 bike completely failed no drive so had enough, advised Ken/E Rider bike had totally failed and want credit due to faulty goods poor response etc (nothing was done) in fact they tried to get me to look at this and that around the rear/drive and I obviously refused, have no idea what I’m looking at.
Then nothing no replies no repair nothing.
So went to credit card company to do charge back or claim under section 75 of consumers act or breach of contract.
After 2 months Ken replied to the Newday credit card claims/complaints and offered to repair the bike but I was away that week. Because they offered to repair the bike Newday closed the case ?
I explained I was away and explained even if they repair the bike I still don’t want it, the bike it dangerous and illegal so just credit the bike come collect it it’s at my house broken with 49km on the clock
Newday sent me backdated letters with some rubbish about how E Rider have not breached their responsibilities and since then even after trying to get another repair date nothing now even Newday are not responding to any e mails no credit no replies nothing …… So heads up Two rubbish companies oh and Newday got me to spend another £360.00 on an indipendant inspection despite all the pictures videos and e mails showing even detailing all the faults and failures which I also want credited absolute jokers May now have to go legal get a writ

Model 21
I ordered the model 21 thinking it would be the better bike compared to the 18. But it turns out not to be' missing most of the accessories that the 18 has. However I must clarify that the bike itself is brilliant. My only negative is that there is so little help and advice out there to deal with maintenance. And the manual doesn't match the exact bike I have. I have clocked up 320 miles in 3 weeks and apart from a puncture no issues so far.

Avoid like the plague
Unfortunately, this website doesn’t allow zero star so I’m reluctantly giving this company an undeserved one star.
Do not buy their Model 15 (second hand) or Model 18 unless you want countless threats of confiscation from the Police.
The U.K. law is super clear: if an ebike can be propelled without pedalling, it must have type approval.
Erider’s Model 15/18 have NO type approval making them illegal to ride on a public road.
Ask ANY lawyer and they’ll all agree with me.
They’ve finally taken their illegal bike back freeing up some needed space in the garage - but I’m still waiting for my full refund.
PS: have a look at their replies to negative reviews and you’ll soon get a picture as to what kind of people you’ll be dealing with.
I won’t be surprised if I see the owner on the BBC’s Watchdog one day!
Very bed don't sele
Take note of this for things to know.
Quite easy to deal with and online chat was one of the best I have used to be honest. The bike was delivered a day later than confirmed so that was a little annoying. Also the bike does not come with number plates even though you may tick to get registered so bear that in mind as you will need to order some once the V5C (Reg Doc) comes through which can take some time.
The bike just gets dropped off with no explanation of how it works and what to do so read any literature you can beforehand.
It can also NOT be changed into MPH which is a little annoying.
The battery is nowhere near what they say as range so again you may want to consider that in your decision as it will cost another few hundreds of £'s for another battery.
Great purchase of the model 18
Great purchase of the model 18 great moped it gets a lot of attention.
Erider is a great business and looking forward to working with them again for spares.
I give them full marks
