I was shocked at the cost of the postage for returns 1 bought 2 tops in different sizes for my daughter. delivery was £4.95. However when I went to do the return I had to pay £6.10 for returns. It did not give me the option to take the parcel to the post office myself. I am happy to pay for delivery and returns but I thought this was excessive. I did ask if I could take it to the post office and pay the post office postage and was advised I could not. I will do every thing I can to avoid using this store again. The website does not advise of the cost or returns either

Awful returns process. 4 weeks after receiving my return I still haven’t received my refund despite 2 requests. £6.20 charged for return postage and no automatic refund process in place.

Not a great experience all round - I wish I'd read these reviews first.

You already charge £4.95 Shipping.

Then "A handling fee is added on an order to cover warehouse storage cost and packing cost." What?! This is taking the...

[Edit - I forgot to ay that the plastic mailing bag arrived split at the side - it didn't survive mailing intact. Luckily not quite a large enough split for the contents to fall out, but had it been smaller items...]

Then returns (which you also charge £6.20 or more for) are extremely expensive. Then if it's an exchange you have to pay postage again!

This on top of extortionate prices for England supporter merchandise anyway. I shan't bother again.

I'm hoping my return will go smoothly. Reviews suggest not looking good.

Terrible experience. No refund for the top and PayPal closed the claim down as only had 7 days to get it to the returns department who said they didn't receive it. Royal mail tracking said can't deliver to that address. So no idea what to do now except warn other users to avoid at all costs.

I’m only giving a one star review because I can’t give a zero!

Awful from start to finish. Had to pay over £5 postage for a hoodie that was size large but was more like a 2xl then a further £6.50 to return it. This was over a week ago and it’s only just reached the depot. There is nothing intelligent about the returns!

Avoid at all costs. Better off going to Sports Direct.

What a disgrace by the RFU and so called Rugby Store,
Having purchased 2 x different style hoodies ,
Both in 3xl, on arrival they were closer to 6xl,
Now to return has proved a costly nightmare,
Please stay away from this store, never ever use again ,
And by the way I am still not in receipt of my £117 re payment plus £6,50 postage, !!!

Ordered a few tops. One was supposed to be a mens small but it was more like a child's small. The size was completely wrong. Contacted them with no answer. In addition to high delivery cost you also have to pay returns at almost £7. And looking at the reviews I might not even receive my refund. I will never place another order and would advise people to read all of the other negative reviews reviews.

I returned an item to England Rugby Store on 3 March. A month later I have still have not received a refund. The last email that I had from them said that they will look into it but that it might take some time! Also I had to pay for the pleasure of this return through their partner so called “Intelligent Returns”.I will not be buying from them again or their partner company Fanatics.

Ordered a Sweatshirt in size Medium; the item delivered stated Medium on the label however in reality it was much larger (probably XL ! ) to add insult to injury the return shipping costs (non refundable) were ridiculously expensive.
The refund process and timings are risible. Will not be buying from this store again.

Terrible service. I posted back the top I needed a new size in and followed up with two emails - no answer. So as it stands, they have:
- my money for the top
- the top I wanted to exchange
- an extra charge for posting back the top

And I have:

- Nothing

Products on offer after the 6 Nations and delivered fairly quickly.
Didn’t realise there was a £4.99 P&P fee along with a 99p handling fee!

Anyway - products arrived and decided to send one back.

No Returns Slip etc in the parcel. So navigated my way through the small print on the website and found the Returns Portal!!

That went smoothly until you realise you have no choice but to return the stuff via their postage set up!

£6.10 MINIMUM charge to return something. Which will take at least 7 days to get there

NEVER EVER BUY FROM HERE. The Slippers I bought for my son at Christmas literally fell apart, the sole came away from the upper and they were made from very cheap materials, they had been worn 4 times. I sent photographs over to the company acting on behalf of England Rugby (Fanatics) only to be offered a voucher of 30% off my next purchase due to the slippers being damaged. I explained that they were NOT damaged but of very poor quality and not fit for purpose. I explained that I wanted a complete refund. They said they would refund and all I received was my postage NOT the cost of the slippers. I explained that this was not good enough and that failing to refund the faulty items I would take this to trading standards and expedite to the small claims court. I was told I would hear back within 72 hours .... that did not happen (surprisingly)!!! A further email was sent where I was told that I would receive the refund within 2-7 working days .... that did not happen (surprisingly). Yet another email was sent, again explaining that if I did not receive my refund this would go to trading standards and the small claims court (I had already spoken with my solicitor at this point) and eventually, over 2 months down the line I received my refund. I would NEVER buy from England Rugby again and certainly any company that utilises the services of 'Fanatics'. The only reason I gave 1 star is that I cannot give zero stars. I see that some people give up when they don't get their refund, my advice, persevere and do take it to it's next level if required.

Absolute joke. Said the parcel was out for delivery and then got an email saying that due to failed delivery it was being returned to warehouse. Contacted them on the chat and was told it would take 3 weeks for a refund. Asked for complaints procedure, got told there isnt one!

Ordered rugby top in January for up coming 6 Nations….paid extra for 2 day delivery…. Still no rugby top or answer to phone calls or emails!!!. Appalling!!!!..

Absolutely appalling service. I placed an order with this joke of a company over 12 days ago. Still no sign of my order. The Royal Mail tracking says it has been sitting at the mail centre since the 12th Jan! Having contacted Fanatics many times I have yet to hear from them. RFU, this company is ruining the reputation of our great men's and ladies teams and you need to address this immediately.

On the 31st December 2023 at 23:10, 23:17, and 23:24, I ordered 7 items (see screenshot attached) and each time the website requested that I repeat the transaction because my bank has declined the transaction, and I did as instruct, not aware that every time I input my credit card details that the account has been debited for the exact amount of GBP241.94 (see bank statement attached).
I'm hoping you can see the problem that occurred, which was probably a system error. Therefore, I request a complete refund for the three transactions, each of which cost me GBP 241.94 . My nank statement screenshot makes it very evident that the funds were credited to FANATICS-INTL 03454084345
Even after talking to a few agents, it became clear that I am not seeing things well, therefore I may bid my money farewell. Don't take a chance on losing your money by doing business with them; even if I have a lot of proof, their responses will make your blood boil. "To give up" is exactly where they had me. I hope you don't make the same mistake I did; I just spared you your hard-earned money. I've got copies of everything I've spoken, by the way.

Didn’t order but dodged a massive bullet from the reviews here. Wanted a hoodie from the online store in the sale and before I got to checkout I happened to see it was operated by Fanatics. I’ve had a dreadful experience with them in the past so I bailed on my purchase.

What on earth are the RFU etc doing allowing merch to be sold via these cowboys? They are known to be terrible and rip off loyal sports fans. They honestly need to be referred to Trading Standards.

Jumper ordered was way off from its advertised sizing. Forced to pay £5.90 to return through them, had no other option other than to pay for there return service using Royal Mail, even though the same parcel was half that price with royal mail, scandalous shopping experiance. Awful experiance, first and last time buying from England Rugby Store.
