DO NOT GO WITH ENERGIA! After your 12 month contract lapses (and they do little to tell you) they will charge you the highest market rate! Easy fix to put customers into a reasonable rate and make a reasonable effort to make you aware they are charging you extraordinary amounts for electricity! Utterly disgusting in this climate for energy companies to be ripping off customers like this. They are also unwilling to rectify overpayments. AVOID

Energia have an incompetent switching process.
Switched from Energia to new provider at end of contract. Energia informed of change to new supplier and informed to remove direct debit mandate from their systems. Bank also informed to cancel direct debit which was immediately actioned by the bank. Energia still have direct debit mandate on their on-line system even after final Energia bill was paid in full by debit card. Energia also reversed previous in contract discount even though the change to new provider was initiated when out of contract with Energia. Energia dragging their heels and trying to squeeze out some extra charges added to account without providing a bill simultaneously to explain the ''charges'' added to account - the bill was added days later after charges had been already paid. A very poor exit experience from energia - we switch regularly when out of contract and energia is the worst experience in terms of switching away from.

Cheaper electricity
I spoke to Chris in the Retention Team as I felt my electricity cost needed to be reviewed. CHRIS was extremely helpful with his information .He was clear concise and explained the various plans. I'm gonna give it 5 because after giving it a bad review, a guy i forgot the name one of the customer service explained well to me how my bill sky rocketed and offered me a more flexible type of payment. I'm not asking for anything but he eventually said that being a loyal customer of energia is the main thing. And that impressed me. He explained the problem and provided a solution! Simple as that! Combi gas boiler replacement
We got a gad boiler replaced. Thank you to amazing team... work nice and neat. Good communication and also expleained all, gas Boiler placed on the attic so we have a pleanty space in the kitchen now. 😀

Stephen Cunningham called to my door…
Stephen Cunningham called to my door today, made everything feel very straightforward, I'm currently with electric Ireland receiving huge bills from them. I'm delighted to hear that you have registered with Energia, and I'm sorry that this process took longer than expected. The registration process can take up to two weeks to complete, depending on network processes.
I know this wait can be frustrating, but rest assured, during this process if you are switching from one supplier to another there should be no disruption to your supply, and everything is handled in the background. Once complete, your welcome pack is then posted to provide you with all your account details.
