Therapist’s Favorite Resource
As an LPC, Autism Spectrum Disorder Clinical Specialist, and Certified Special Education Teacher, I’ve spent 17 years working with children, and I can honestly say that Emotional ABCs is a resource kids really enjoy!
The cartoons featuring Moody are a big hit with the children I work with. I have so many who ask, “What is Moody going to get into today?” I love seeing how excited they get to watch the next cartoon. When kids are having fun and looking forward to learning, it makes such a difference!
The coloring activity book is another favorite because children can take it home, work on it, and share it with their families. It’s a great way to keep the conversation about emotions going outside of our sessions. The interactive games are also a hit and give children another fun way to practice what they’re learning.
What I love most about Emotional ABCs is that it makes learning about feelings fun and easy for kids to understand. After 17 years of working with children with different needs, I know how important it is to find tools that actually keep their attention. Emotional ABCs does just that! I highly recommend it to parents, therapists, and educators looking for a fun, engaging way to help children understand their emotions and develop important life skills.
