Really quick and professional service. Kamdem arrived promptly and went over and above to sort out our leak. A Sunday call out so even more impressive!

Returned from holiday to a leak in bathroom causing water leak in light fitting downstairs, contacted emergency hero Saturday evening and arranged call out for Sunday, engineer arrived on time fixed issue, leaking flexi pipe, within 40minutes, highly recommend Emergency Hero

We had a hidden burst pipe resulting in a small but increasingly severe leak through a door frame . We called a local plumber who essentially couldn't find the source (actually mis-identified the source). In desperation we were recommended Emergency Hero. so we gave it a go, within a short period a plumber arrived was very thorough with what was a difficult case. He worked through logically until he found the source of the burst pipe under the floorboards upstairs in the hallway. He repaired the pipe made good flooring relayed the carpet and cleaned up. Despite it being a long and difficult job to identify the source, the plumber was cheerful friendly and helpful throughout, he also did a couple of little jobs extra for us with minor plumbing issues that he discovered during his investigations all in all, an excellent experience resolving a problem that was both urgent and and which required expertise. Would recommend the Service 100%.

Emergency Hero were very quick at getting me a gas engineer. I had a gas leak and my gas had been shut off so I needed it fixed quickly. A local engineer was at my home within a couple of hours.
I would definitely recommend !!

I had another firm out the previous day who specified I needed an electrician and a plumber to change a cylinder. I got a guy who could do both who turned up without the cylinder specified over the phone to Louis who told me that all the work could be done in one day. The plumber/sparky misdiagnosed the water issue and then organised a firm to fix a fusebox who seriously overchared me. I suggest never panic buying anything from Emergency Hero. £600 completely wasted leading to a seriously overpriced service. Unhelpful call centre manager who clearly couldnt give a s*** despite the advertising campaign.
Also despite several complaints they phoned me several times to try to get me to subscribe to their dreadful service. Avoid at all costs. They took my £600 don't let them take yours.

I had an problem with my shower, Emergency Hero were very understanding and arranged for an engineer to come asap - which was approximately 2 - 3 hours later, the person I spoke to was friendly, polite and understanding- a very good service

Phoned for a leaking pipe(3/07/26) Had someone out within the hour, cost £330. Guy(Sab) does a temp repair, tells me hell be back in the morning at 9:30. Text him at 10:30, he apologises, says he'll be here at 14:00. Calls at 17:30, to tell me he'll be here at 9:30 tomorrow(5/07/26) Last time I use this company

The service was overpriced, with the website taking half the fee. The engineer was disorganised and incompetent, and misdiagnosed the boiler fault.

The electriction that came was great, we didnt have to wait long for one to arrive and the service we had on the phone was great and the price was very reasonable

Spoke to the sales team who were very professional and offered a great value plan. The service works well, was much needed, and delivered exactly as promised. A smooth experience from start to finish.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience genuinely left me shocked and incredibly disappointed.

I contacted Emergency Hero for what I believed was a genuine emergency involving my OSO unvented hot water cylinder. I paid £360 for an emergency callout, expecting a competent diagnosis and repair.

That is not what happened.

The engineer attended but was unable to fix the fault. In my opinion, he appeared completely out of his depth with this type of system. He attempted a repair which left part of the pipework loose and requiring attention from a properly qualified technician afterwards. Despite paying £360 for an emergency repair service, I was ultimately advised to contact a different plumber to resolve the problem.

Imagine paying a premium emergency fee, only to be told to find someone else to actually fix it.

To make matters worse, Emergency Hero called me the following day asking for feedback. I explained that the issue remained unresolved and that I was unhappy with the outcome. The call ended abruptly, and I never received any meaningful follow-up or attempt to put things right.

I raised a formal complaint and attempted to resolve matters directly. I felt ignored throughout the process.

I then contacted OSO directly. Their engineer identified the issue and resolved it. What made this even more frustrating was learning that the fault was not some impossible mystery requiring extensive investigation. The system was repaired after the Emergency Hero visit had left me without a solution, out of pocket by £360, and questioning why I had called an “emergency” service in the first place.

The entire experience caused unnecessary stress and anxiety at a time when I genuinely needed help.

Based on my experience, I would not recommend Emergency Hero.

Felt like a scam, boiler wasn’t working and after paying £360 for a “qualified engineer” to fix what it turned out only later to be a simple problem, on the day he immediately blamed it on a faulty PCM. After 10 minutes he left saying that obviously he didn’t have that specific part with him and that was a piece that had to be ordered. Well, the day after turned out the real issue was just a valve and had nothing to do with the boiler’s motherboard. I couldn’t even get part of a refund from the company. Utter incompetence

Had a plumber out to us within 2 hours to fix urgent leak under sink as we could not turn water off, The engineer was quick, and efficient in getting it fixed for us and the customer service agent Lewis was very calming and reassuring. Will 100% use again

Basically I spent £120 for call out then £180 for the first hour and the plumber couldn't unblock my drain. It wasn't that difficult as got someone else the next day to do it easily. Despite complaining and escalating the complaint they won't give me a refund for attending then not completing the job. AVOID!!

Called a plumber to repair a piece of gas pipe I had drilled into. Waited 3.5 hours, The engineer mad a big song and dance about how the pipe was unusual and how difficult the job was to do. He made a big mess with my wall, tried to get me to agree to a new gas main and pipe work and then left with my £300 and fixed nothing. He didn’t even clear up the mess that he had made. Daylight robbery I would advise you to avoid this company at all costs

Exceptionally fast response and great service. My 90 year old Mother needed assistance quickly, and as the rest of the family live 100 miles away, the Emergency Hero service was the best choice in order to speedily attend to the issue. Very satisfied with the process and the eventual outcome.

I spoke with Umran at Emergency Hero and had a really positive experience. From the start, he was easy to talk to and took the time to listen to what the issue was. He explained everything clearly and answered my questions without making me feel like I was being rushed.
