The two gentlemen booked for the day to move our furniture rang first thing to give me their estimated time of arrival. They arrived in a timely fashion and introduced themselves immediately. From start to finish they were polite, friendly, professional and cheerful. Nothing was too much trouble and they would check frequently with us about what else needed to be moved or where about things would go on arrival. I would recommend this service without hesitation.

EJ were brilliant.It was quite hard to coordinate as I have recently been in Hospital.I couldn’t fault these guys.Ryan was very efficient and the three young men who did the removal were brilliant.
Kind ,hard working and courteous....couldn’t fault them.

Excellent Service.
Used these for a move from outside Brighton to Liverpool and cannot recommend more highly. The three lads arrived on time and were extremely polite and asked lots of questions re what was being moved.
Upon arrival they then seamlessly unloaded everything and ensured it was all placed in the correct rooms and ready assembled where necessary.
Would definitely use again.

Excellent sales process with Ryan - our move was delayed during the “exchange” process and he kept in contact regularly just to touch base. On the day the removal guys were very polite and efficient taking care of all our larger furniture items and belongings. Hugely adaptable throughout- a stella experience overall - highly recommended

Used this company recently, would give 20 stars. Two laid back guys who just came in and moved us with absolute ease. They dismantled a massive sliding door wardrobe and reassembled again in no time. Can’t thank them enough.

The EJ Moves has been very good in the past. In this occasion I have to give low rating as the crew were very poor at handling furnitures and moving it around safely without causing any damages. The damages also happened to the property as well, as they try to maneuver furnitures. The team is too focused on getting the job done too quickly than doing it patiently and professionally.

The claim process for damages is not as easy as stated on the website, as initial £250 (excess) of claim is incured by customer. Additionally, EJ Moves would have to accept damages the customer is raising. I intend on submitting the claim to see what the outcome might be.

Update 2
I submitted my claim and as expected they rejected my claims for number damages to furniture on the basis of their words against mine.
As I did not state value of items at start, I was only able to claim max £40 per item and considering there is an excess of £250, it was pointless to proceed with the claim. Effectively process is its not as easy as advertised on their website.
My advice to any future customers:
- At the time of booking, state list of items and their values and get confirmation
- Take pictures of valuable items prior to removal
- Take pictures when crew are removing items, especially when you suspect they might damage it.

we had the best moving experience. the two lithuanians, who spoke perfect english, could not have been more helpful. they placed everything where we wanted, moved things here and there, with no attitude.

i would recommend this company, as the office was very efficient too.

I'd like to thank EJMoves for the service provided before and during the move. I really appreciated the help to get the 4 vans and 6 people at such short notice, which was key to get everything moved out. The service included not only moving the items but also dissembling and re-assembling of the furniture.The team has worked really hard, both on the packing day and also the removal day. They were helpful and efficient and although they worked long hours, they remain polite and positive during the 2 days.

I would honestly recommend this company to anyone! They are so quick and so reliable and so careful with your possessions! I was actually shocked with the efforts they made to move me in and very happy with the service I received! USE THIS COMPANY !

We found EJ Moves via an online search for a removals company for our relocation from Buckinghamshire to Lancashire.

Having spoke with them via email, and having emailed them a list of the larger items in our home so they could calculate van requirements a date and price was agreed and the move was booked.

We then had to move the removal date due to unforeseen circumstances which again was no bother and they could not be more helpful.

In addition, prior to moving we purchased a new garden furniture set which we informed EJ Removals about by email to ensure their was still enough space in the removal van, and again it was not an issue.

On moving day, a team of 3 men arrived and I cannot praise them enough for their promptness, presentation and care shown with our belongings BUT this was when the issue arrived.

We live in a 4 bed roomed property (which they were fully aware of), and they had only sent 2 x Luton vans for the house move.

Although the staff tried their best in fitting all our furniture and belongings into the vans they had, it was clear that it all wouldn't fit, and although the men on the day tried to source another van from head office, there were none spare to help.

This unfortunately meant that a portion of our belongings had to stay at the original address until the following day when they had a spare van.

And this is when the sting in the tail hits......

They proceeded to charge us a further £650 for another days removals even though I would expected this to have been included in the original price as we had been upfront with all our belonging and nothing was hidden from them (all being done by email for confirmation) and it was clearly not our fault that they had not sent vans big enough.

I then had to try and renegotiate the price as I was clearly not impressed on being charged again for completing the original job, which I successfully managed to get reduced to £500, although this was still a charge I still believe I should have not been liable for.

A great team of guys to help on the day, but beware as we did not have that much furniture to move as 3 of the bedrooms had built in wardrobes which stayed at the house, 2 of the beds were left as we had purchased new ones for our new home (which were delivered to our new home directly) and our dining room suite was given to the local Charity shop as again we had purchased a new one (again which was being delivered to the new home directly).

BEWARE OF HIDDEN COSTS................

Friendly, efficient service and the best price I received from a number of quotes. Really pleased, especially moving house on my own - the removal guys were polite, speedy (also incredibly strong, lifting my furniture with ease!) and nothing was too much trouble. Made my moving day so much less stressful. I would definitely recommend to anyone.
