My experience with EGI / United Kitchens and bedrooms hasn’t been good in the least. They do not live by ANYTHING that is claimed on their website.
KITCHEN:
Space wasted (4/5 inches) between larder unit and bottom of larder; I have pic evidence. I am the one who had to supervise and get it changed as any good kitchen should optimise space. Not waste it!
Workers left inside of cupboards dusty for me to clean! One door chipped which will need replacing.
My wall damaged whilst fitting cupboard and white quartz scratched whilst fitting Fridge freezer.

BEDROOM:
Drawers not attached properly with a gap between facia and bottom of drawer.
My daughters bedroom the drawers were not ergonomically designed. It was too high; maybe for a seven footer! Had to be removed, taken back to factory, redone and wasted so much time.
Wrong mirror fitted; I’d asked for bronze & they fitted clear ones. Changed after 10-12 days. This time round one mirror door chipped.

Different teams coming so no continuity in job as the fitters do not know what’s left to be completed. Office hasn’t always made them up to date. Nobody to liaise with regarding technical issues or what to buy (accessories such as magic corner etc).

My contract has fitting as part of the price and was told to buy appliances elsewhere. Then later I’m told no fitting if appliances. I had to pay my builder who was luckily yet on site to do the appliances.

CUSTOMER SERVICE_Very unprofessional
Customer service agent Anu is very unprofessional and makes snide personal remarks. I’ve written an email with my conversation with her to the manager
(whoever that may be: I spoke to Bunty; said he will sort out the problem and call back. NO CALL BACK. It’s been nearly two weeks and waiting…,
Never come on appointed date, cancel last minute and once there was apparently an emergency. Fine, at least call & inform me, the customer. I’m wasting my day off work and when I call to find out when they are arriving I’ve been told not today.
This has happened on several occasions. Moreover Anu claims she is doing a favour by accommodating us. Excuse me!

Most importantly, the material used for carcass is chipboard not MDF.

When they required deposit I paid more than initial requisite amount but sadly haven’t received value for money. ONLY STRESS

Therefore totally BAD EXPERIENCE and would never recommend them!

Professional service: pleasant experience

We invited EGI UK to design a lounge cabinet and media cupboards for the room in the loft. We met Baljinder (designer) who arrived promptly on time. His attention to details in our requirements and his subsequent measurement of the area etc was extremely thorough. Within a few days we received an artist view of the design which was brilliant. We booked the installation in accordance with their terms and conditions and were given a fairly quick appointment. We were extremely impressed with the skill sets of the carpenter Sanjiv who was assigned to do our job. He was very courteous, talented and professional and did a fantastic installation. We are very happy to recommend EGI and especially Sanjiv.

Got kitchens and bedroom units installed in 2019. Since then have had issues with the runners which took them nearly 8 visits and number of months to get them fixed. All the initial visits were relating to having the wrong parts even though they had taken the original parts. Then after 5 visit even blamed us for the issue before finally replacing them . Since the last few months we have had issue with the kitchen doors. Same problem again , numerous visits with no solution. Also to let everyone be aware that they just come in un announced and expect you to be at home waiting for them. There standard excuse is that their factory is under renovation hence can’t assist in resolving the problem. Beware of Anu in customer services. Do not fall for her aggressiveness as she tries to convince customers that they are at fault . Not sure if this is her on doing or driven by EGI management. She is extremely rude and aggressive and has no care about the customers. I would strongly recommend not to.chose this company as people fall for their goods being cheap but when things go wrong they do not care. Even though their is 5 year warranty I don’t think this applies to them. Make sure everyone every communication which this company is in writing as they tend to have very short memory. Love to give Zero rating but unfortunately that is not available

Extremely poor customer service. This company take no responsibility for the products they provide. There is a lack of communication between their sales team and office. We were told by the salesman that a certain product would be provided, once payment had been received the office took no responsibility and pushed any problems back on us. They will pass the blame to the customer at any given opportunity. I would not recommend this company, the lack of customer service ad rudeness extends to the management team.

I was a little apprehensive when I read the reviews on here about EGI..but they were absolutely brilliant.. from start to finish, they have been so professional, kept us fully informed, very quick from quoting, to completing the works. We had fitted wardrobes done in our spare room.. with led lights fitted on outside, we chose a light grey wood grain. The hinges are all great and the 3 fitters were very professional and friendly. They even fixed my little boys wardrobe for me, who bought from IKEA. They were also a lot cheaper and quicker than sharpes!!! Well done EGI and thank you RIZ....👏👏👏

Rizwan who came to measure up and show samples knew exactly what he was talking about and realised exactly what we wanted...

The fitters came on time and worked really well... they enjoyed the lunch and coffee’s we offered and it was a very friendly atmosphere.

I’d definitely recommend them as they Are efficient, reliable and fairly priced.

We had our main bedroom and box room fitted.

very poor customer service and workmanship:-
my complaints list goes on and on
1. They promised to come and do installation on 6th and 7th and they couldn't kept the promise, they finally came to do installation on 7th and 9th.
2. they couldn't finish the work, 2 of the doors they brought solid ones instead of mirror doors, They said they will come and install the mirror door next day.
3. no one turned up next day, approached Anu from the customer team, who said the doors are getting prepared in factory and will arrange to get it installed immediately in the morning. all lies.. no one turned up next day.. when texted her, no reply. the day is gone..
4. called the egi interiors customer support, one of the worst response i received, when I asked i wanted to talk to the manager, she said I will receive response within 10 minutes. the day is gone.. no response..
5. the shoe cabinet they put has push to open doors... the mechanism is not working.. when i complained, they said they will replace when they come next to fix the wardrobe mirror door.. not happened yet.
6. the spot light in the wardrobe was not tidied by these technicians... they said it is your responsibility to tidy it up. never heard such thing in the made to measure fitted wardrobe..
7. For certain finishing which they should do as part of the work, I had to chase them and the workman shake his head it is not possible. Not bothered to cover the carcass in a wardrobe which is visibly showing outside and looks ugly.
8. they collected complete cash for the work promising they will come and finish the work next day and not turning up is not acceptable.

Excellent work and good price. EGI did 2 coat and shoe cupboards along with TV unit. The material was good and guys who came to fit were knowledgeable. Thanks for the great work

The prices are cheap but poor customer service, the fitting is poor quality and it will be a miracle if they send anyone post installation to fix any issues. Had a full kitchen purchased and fitted. Word of advice, check quality of hinges, workmanship and most importantly how many screws they use to install various hardware items. We learmed the hard way when drawers rails and doors hinges starting getting lose and realise they had only out a single screw in majority of fittings. And their warranties are pretty useless as no one will be returning to sort out any problems. Products are fine, the quality of fitting and customer service is lacking. If you are looking to save money then go for it but don't expect any help or support afterwards.

Excellent service and product.
The designer (Baljinder) was helpful, made great suggestions and was available to contact throughout the process.
The installation team were excellent. Perhaps a little slow, but what they lacked in speed they more than made up for in attention to detail.
The wardrobes look great and seem sturdy.

Very professional, on time, job done so well. No mess made either which was a bonus! Friendly staff too. Definitely will be using them again and recommended to friends and family!

A big 'Thank you' to the EGI team. During a very stressful time of moving house with 2 young children, they made the experience of designing and fitting our new kitchen stress free. Riz of the design team was creative and precise, Anu was great with regular updates and kept it touch during this difficult time and Harjinder fitted the kitchen to perfection. We are very relieved and happy with the outcome and would highly recommend EGI to others.

Very happy with our new kitchen from EGI interiors. From design to completion everyone was professional and friendly. The colour combinations are really attractive and the quality of door panels are luxury. Having quartz work tops for very good prize was a bonus. We were given work tops and splashback from same quartz material. Craftsmanship is very precise and fit in to the newly built kitchen very well. Fitting was done by EGI and we are pleased with their skills and outcomes. Overall the kitchen looks very nice and luxury.

Top quality work and really good customer service, they’ve been very helpful no matter the size of the project undertaken. We are very happy customers, highly recommended!

My wardrobes are very nice. the design and fitting was very well done and I live them now.

We were really pleased. Delivered on time (great delivery team), well packaged, looks fantastic, really well made. Not cheap but you get what you pay for...quality! Highly recommended.
The furniture is lovely. Solid and beautifully made. The delivery team were friendly, efficient and very helpful. I am delighted with my transformed living room, bedrooms and wardrobe room
