Effortless Swimming Anmeldelser 

First became of fan of Effortless Swimming from Brenton's Facebook reels, which explained things so clearly ... including simple things I didn't know even after several decades of competitive swimming. Then I had the most amazing experience in the Galapagos swim camp in March, being coached by multiple Olympic champion Sharon Van Rouwendaal. And finally, I've bought 7 pairs (various models and tints) of NanoClear googles ... by far the most comfortable and widest view googles I've ever had.

I am a subscriber to Effortless Swimming now for 2 years or so. The instructional videos are second to none. Brent is an amazing teacher and explains techniques and fixes in a way adult swimmers like me can not only understand but he also provides drills and tips to fix.

Content is updated on a regular basis and provides new motivation to learn and train a better stroke

I’m a big fan of Effortless Swimmings technique videos and drills. I haven’t even used half the resources on my subscription yet but my swimming has improved a lot in just a couple of months, both speed wise as well as distance. Effortless is actually a very apt word…

Effortless and Brenton are amazing. The tips are so helpful and love the Nano goggles. If it wasn't for this website, I doubt I would have been where I am today... 76 and still doing tri's

I bought a model that did not fit my face. The company was not only extremely responsive in addressing the issue, but it also offered a solution that exceeded my expectations—amazing customer service! In addition, the anti-fog feature works perfectly, and the vision through the goggles is excellent.

I truly had an amazing experience with Effortless Swimming. In today's environment, customer service seems to be a lost art but not with Effortless Swimming.
I was given prompt attention to a problem I had and I was given personal attention to my issue.

I'd like to thank the team at Effortless Swimming for helping an old man find the perfect goggles for his ruggedly handsome face.

Initially, I chose the Recon model. Based on the extensive military movie research I conducted as a child, it seemed the obvious choice. If it's good enough for Navy SEALs, surely it's good enough for a bloke trying to survive masters swimming.

Unfortunately, while my face may have once been chiselled from granite, 50-plus years of exposure to gravity have resulted in a few design modifications. Let's just say the Recon and my current facial architecture weren't destined to be together.

After some very helpful advice from the team at Effortless Swimming, we concluded that my distinguished, mature face would be better suited to the Flex Swim Goggles. I chose the mirrored version, partly for performance reasons and partly because I wanted to psychologically intimidate the other swimmers in my lane.

The big day arrived.

The goggles landed.

Time to test them.

I headed to the pool and selected a lane beside what was clearly a triathlete. You know the type. Pool buoy. Paddles. Flippers. Multiple pairs of goggles. Energy gels. Probably monitoring his heart rate, blood oxygen and stock portfolio simultaneously.

With supreme confidence, I entered the water, creating what I can only describe as an Olympic-standard bow wave, and began my aquatic quest.

30 laps: No leaks. Comfortable fit.

50 laps: Still no leaks. Still no fog.

100 laps: Everything performing flawlessly.

120 laps: At this point I had completely psyched out my lane companion. Whether he noticed me at all is beside the point. Psychological dominance is an internal state.

Feeling strong, I added another 40 laps for good measure.

Final tally: 4 km non-stop.

The verdict?

Comfortable from start to finish.
No leaks.
No fogging.
Stayed in place the whole session.
Successfully transformed me from aging recreational swimmer into what I believe was an intimidating aquatic specimen.

After returning home, I informed my wife that I had entered into a new relationship.

She asked whether I was referring to another woman.

I replied:

"No. It's my new goggles. They understand me."

What a wonderful company. Their customer service is like no other. I was struggling a little with the fit of the pair I ordered and they jumped right on trying to get me another pair that might fit my face better. The nanoflex goggles I am using now are comfortable and easy to wear. Effortless swimming is by far & away the best company and product I have dealt with thus far – don’t hem & haw over whether or not to try their goggles. They are worth it and so is the company.

I ordered the Nano flex goggles hoping they would not leave me with raccoon eyes after every swim. The goggles were very comfortable and didn’t fog, but I still had goggle marks. Effortless Swimming responded to my concerns ASAP. They had some suggestions. The goggles worked better, but still some marks around my eyes. ES has now offered me a new goggle to try with no cost to me. I’m excited to try and I can’t say enough nice words about the customer service at ES!!

I have been using the Recon style goggles and decided to try the Flex style; unfortunately, that style didn't fit my face well and caused the goggles to leak. I reached out and was sent a replacement pair, Recon style, immediately. Exceptional customer service! Thank you

I had some issues with the goggles I had purchased. Not surprising, as I seem to have a challenging face shape for swim goggles (haha). Effortless Swimming responded promptly to my issue, and wanted to make sure I was satisfied with my purchase. They were super courteous and kind.
Other than my issues with fit, I have to say the goggles are very well made and so clear to see through. I also really like the look.

I participated in the Japan Swim Camp in July of '26. What a great experience! The trip started/ended in Tokyo, but was mostly on the western coast of the Izu peninsula. The group was around 14 swimmers, 2 coaches, plus several local guides. The trip provided a great combination of 1)touring and experiencing both Tokyo and a more local Japanese town 2)world class coaching 3)lovely swimming waters on the Izu coast.

We were able to do a film session in a local pool early in the trip and got personalized coaching thru the camp. We swam 5-6km per day, using local boats, but there are options for different skill levels/abilities and it's very accessible. Great kayak and boat support throughout the swims, and the coastlines and scenery is lovely. Accommodations were great - excellent local food, comfortable rooms, and in-hotel onsen.
Coaching (Brenton and Tasmynne) is world class, non-judgmental and aligns to the Effortless swimming approach.
This trip is great if you are looking to experience Japanese culture and do some amazing swimming at the same time!

The goggles themselves are fantastic. Super comfortable and clear. But the customer service is just as fantastic. My second pair of goggles was fogging up. They had me try one thing and when that didn’t work they offered me a new pair of my choosing no questions asked. No continual back and forth like most customer services….prompt response and fixed the issue with a new pair that’s already been shipped. They stand by their product and it shows. Thank you Ivan and the rest of the customer service team for a pleasant experience!!!

Awesome coaches who helped improve my swimming form and technique. And super well organized trip as well! :) Highly recommend anyone considering working with Effortless.
