Thought it was a scam at first, was very pleasantly surprised!
I was very hesitant at first, as my initial contact was through a cold-caller at my door. My immediate thought was this had to be a scam, but I decided to give my details for a consultation on the grounds that I'm a renter, so they wouldn't be able to proceed without the landlord's permission.
I was pleasantly surprised to find that the eco grant did exist, and I had a brand new Worcester Bosch combi boiler installed, a new thermostat control system, and loft insulation.
As the boiler installation occurred in April, I haven't really had a chance to test how much better the central heating is, but my hot water all around the house is much better, comes on faster, and the water pressure for hot water (previously extremely low) is much better too.
The only reason I'm giving 4 rather than 5 stars is that not every radiator in the house got a new thermostatic control. I can understand in rooms where there is more than one radiator, but in the downstairs toilet and the bathroom there is no new valve. Wasn't sure if there was a reason for that, but none was communicated to me.
Also, as other people have noted, the additional loft insulation is just rolled out. I have some flooring in my loft and use it for storage. The stored items were just lifted, insulation laid over the flooring, and the items dropped back on top. Again, not sure if that is how loft insulation is fitted, but it seems a little messy and inefficient.

Excellent boiler installers though i was mislead
Excellent boiler installers, though I was promised the 2 missing radiaters which were promised to be replaced never arrived, after boiler installation i was told it was not part of grant, but a word should be a word i felt very cheated, if they would put in the missing radiators i would rate them 5 as they were helpful through the whole claim, but i lost my trust as the promised radiaters never arrived

The team were very pleasant and…
The team were very pleasant and thorough. The boiler was installed and they did the job in a day. There were difficulties that they had to overcome which they did. My dropping a star is due to the fact that when they left it was all a bit of a rush and I’m still a little unclear as to how to use the system. I think it would be useful to have a simple sheet of instructions on how to use the system. I’m still not clear about what I’m doing. Thank you guys, you were great.

They were brilliant 2 days they worked and did not have a break and that was a weekend great having hot water all the time fantastic job well done lads so so pleased with the work you all did would recommend them any time

Combi boiler.
I had a combi boiler fitted by Eco Energy on the government grant scheme. The workmen worked none stop without a break until the job was done. No problems so far. Good job.

The service given by ECO energy services was fantastic also it's a free boiler backed by the govt, the installation was also done in one day and the fitters were pleasant and left my property nice and clean,I recommend this company top rate.
