I have been looking at these two items for a while now, your web site keep it in the basket and I didn’t have to go looking again, I might not have found the items again. This is 2nd order I have made with this company, very good quality items & a quick delivery

The adverts looked fantastic, and the video reviews were glowing—but after receiving my Dustblocker 500, it quickly became clear that it was all just clever marketing and paid endorsements.

Getting through to customer service was a challenge in itself. After three days of trying, I finally spoke to someone and explained that the unit wasn’t performing as expected. It only needed to collect fine dust from a specific area in our workshop, yet it wasn’t doing anything. The representative—who was helpful at the time—suggested upgrading to the twin-arm model, so I took his advice.

When the new unit arrived, we set it up, hopeful that this one would actually work. But once again, it had about as much suction power as a discarded 1980s Henry Hoover. We even tried pushing dust directly into the arms, but it just built up around the rubber openings instead of being collected.

Frustrated, we called the company back, only to find that the once-helpful representative (unlike the dust) had vanished. Feeling misled, I requested a refund—only to be told that because we had used the machine, we weren’t eligible. A ridiculous policy, considering you can’t assess its effectiveness without actually using it.

Now, we’re forced to go through our bank to issue a chargeback.

My advice? Save your money and buy a vacuum from Lidl—it’ll be cheaper and probably more powerful.

I didn’t like that an automated charge for some sort of insurance in transit was added!! Until the item arrives here, without being damaged, this is your issue. Not the buyer’s issue.

Grinder shroud and vacuum pack has been working awesome for me. Best shroud on the market that does what is says on tin. Downside is the bags full too quickly coz the vacuums to efficient! Service from the team was also brilliant. Will buy more as my team grows

Purchased an industrial vacuum MV-SV1-875-MBS-415 for over £6K. (I cant fault Codey as he seems to be doing the best he can in a bad situation) The unit was months late and when it did arrive it was the wrong unit! later that week the correct unit (almost) arrived and on inspection there were not any instructions provided as required by law and the dust collection kit was wrong so we could not use the unit for a few months while we waited for the kit. Again long delays. Now the unit has broken a few weeks out of warrantee they will not honour it as we are over the 12 months from delivery date despite us not receiving the full order until weeks after. Seems the generic switch isolator has blown with potential motor issues. Waste of money, average performance, terrible logistics and poor customer care.

Ordered starmix pulse online on Saturday only to be told machine out of stock and not coming back into stock . Terrible that they allow a machine to be advertised as available when it is not.
I have requested a refund but as yet not had a response .
I will be going elsewhere and definitely not recommending to anyone!

I recently placed an order with DustArrest for their Hoover vacuum cleaner, and the experience has been incredibly disappointing. After receiving the machine, I found that the power and performance did not match the advertised claims at all. The vacuum simply didn’t live up to the hype.

In an attempt to give it a fair chance, I tried the machine for a mere two minutes. Realizing it was not what was promised, I decided to return it. However, DustArrest refused to accept the return, claiming that because the machine had been used, they would not process a refund. This is extremely frustrating and unacceptable.

I exchanged plenty of emails with Hattie from their team, referencing our consumer rights and return policy, which clearly state that we have the right to return products if they do not meet our expectations. Despite this, Hattie simply refused.

It’s clear that DustArrest are not standing behind their products or their advertising. I want everyone to be aware of this terrible experience and think twice before purchasing from them. Poor product performance and even worse customer service. I strongly advise avoiding DustArrest at all costs.

3d printed cheap crap. It will snap after 80sqm of grinding. Promises the world gives nothing don’t buy.

Dustarrest.com Filters their reviews so after leaving a review on their MAXVAC ANGLE GRINDER CUTTING SHROUD, 180 (7") & 230MM (9") and it not showing up on the website even a month later, I have decided to share it with you all on Trustpilot.com so it is now visible to all considering the item.

This is a very expensive piece of plastic and that is acceptable as long as it is made to a high standard, Afterall what is £150 if it captures all the dust and protects you from a diamond encrusted 9-inch diameter metal blade spinning at 6,600rpm?

Well there lies the problem... The shroud may be priced like it is made by Festool/Felder/TSO/Woodpeckers etc, but the mounting adapter rings are made like they had a budget of 5 pence per item and the adapter rings are the most crucial part in holding the shroud to the tool.

I purchased my unit around 10 months ago, and I raised the concern with DustArrest as soon as I opened the package. "Why are you sending me a badly 3D printed adapter ring, when your own product photos shows a solid injection moulded adapter ring?" DustArrest's answer was it costs less.

On the second use of the angle grinder the adapter ring shattered. I informed DustArrest and they were kind enough to send out 2x more 3D printed adapter rings with the following quote "I have added your new rings to come to you in the next few days. Unfortunately, the rings are 3D printed and as far as I am aware these will not be changed back to the other style due to the ever changing models of grinders."

I personally find the above statement unacceptable. You are charging £150 for a piece of plastic, make it from good plastic.

The adapter rings are printed on the lowest quality 3D printed setting I have ever seen, giant cavities in the rings, no structural integrity at all.
I recently purchased some 3D parts from a private garage dweller/seller on Etsy and his 3D printed components were superb, because he wasn't trying to use the minimal amount of plastic.

So Conclusion:
Does this product work? Yes if you plunge it full into the wall (half/shallow plunges still fill a room with dust)
Would you recommend it? NO. Those cheap 3D printed adapter rings are a massive health and safety concern and I think unless they are switched out for something better built this product should be pulled from production.
