Lovely place, a bit pricey. Be aware that if you change your mind about a dress that you can not get a refund. Shop assistants did not tell you that. Our dress was delivered to us , not having one in store, only after we have paid and receive an email we were made aware that you cannot return the item. Very frustrating and causing huge upset, when this is suppose to be a wonderful experience.

Really disappointed with a visit to this shop yesterday. Myself and another mother booked two appointments to take our daughters aged 15 and 16 prom dress shopping. When we arrived there were no change rooms available for the girls and this remained the case for 40 minutes (there were 3 change rooms but only one public mirror). There were two girls trying on many dresses, one ended up doing so for 1.5 hours. The shop staff did nothing to move the appointments on so that we had our allocated time/space so there was A LOT of waiting and eventually our girls ended up sharing one change room. The atmosphere and set up was not good for teens. The dresses are in American sizes so there was a lot of talk of “size zero” and to our horror they asked the girls to open their coats so they could assess their waist sizes. A girl who arrived after us was body shamed by the staff who openly said there was no point giving her a size zero dress to try on. The girls had to leave the change rooms and stand on a pedestal in front of the only mirror to be publicly viewed in their dresses, so no privacy at all and rife for comparison. Another girl who arrived after us with her mother and was also left waiting for a long time for a change room cried in front of the mirror when she came out in her first dress.
I felt the set up was very bad for all but the most confident girl’s mental health, and that there was no point having an appointment system as there was no attempt to manage this and to give the girls any space or privacy, as well as there being a lot of waiting around. I thought the body shaming and comments on size were extremely damaging. But for being there with another mum and daughter we would have left very quickly.
The dresses are extremely expensive (though some are significantly discounted on sale) but some are in poor condition with visible damage. I wish I had thought more about how this would go before we went, and I regret going to this shop and certainly won’t be repeating this experience.

I’m really disappointed with the service I had with this store. A dress arrived much later than expected and because of that I had to have it shipped in an other country because of the delay. Even then, I almost did get it on time because it took almost anothe month to finally get shipped… and they had me pay for the custom clearance which they had not informed me of (300 Euros bill). The dress is not quite worth what I paid for to start with, but with all the delays (over 2 months), the stress and the extra fees, the lack of communication or apologie about the custom issue, I absolutely don’t recommend this place. They don’t even have a person to do the adjustments on the dresses. They didn’t even suggest a special offer or a credit for a future purchase. This is ridiculous.

Went to the London store to find a dress for a black tie event! Did not disappoint the staff were amazing and really helpful love my dress I felt incredible , defo shop

I've gone to Dress 2 Party London to find evening wear and loved everything about the store. From organizing the store in terms of color to the service and staff support, I cannot recommend this place more for proper evening and occasion wear.

Carolyn was super helpful, we went in with a set budget and she was so welcoming and had a selection of dresses within this. Our daughter chose a beautiful blue satin dress and Carolyn was really understanding to our daughter who really doesn't like clothes shopping. She advised us on colour and sizing, such a lovely experience!

Thank you so much for making my daughter feel a million dollars. We were in the Glasgow shop and Marisa was brilliant. Excellent experience for my daughter after having not so good experience in other prom shops.

The inventory is great but the customer service is really poor. Be careful with your order, they don't refund at all, even if they said they refund. I don't recommend it, they just want to hit their sales target. There are more websites available with the same products at a better price.

Excellent customer service and the most gorgeous dresses. I was very happy with my dress for prom and would highly recommend going to Dress 2 Party.

I visited the Leeds store in January with my Daughter, My Daughter decided on a dress, however the dress size was not in stock and she was only able to try a larger size on in store. Natalie advised us that the smaller size should fit well and if i paid for the dress there and then they could post the correct size dress out a couple of days later. When the dress arrived it was far too big around the waist and far too small around the bust, the material of the dress is different to the one my Daughter tried on in the store it was very cheap and static. When I spoke to an advisor I was told refunds are not issued when dresses are purchased in store, my Daughter did not like any other dress so a credit note is no good to us. I returned the dress a month ago now and have not received a phone call or email back, how can you sell dresses which are not identical to the ones tried on in store and not issue refunds?

What an amazing day for my daughter for her prom dress from the minute we walked in they were absolutely brilliant from getting all different dresses for her to finding the one that she fell in love with. The staff couldn’t help enough they were incredible and made you feel so welcomed. Thank you ☺️

It was my first visit to dress2party and I really enjoyed my shopping experience meeting Charlene and trying on various dresses she was so helpful, professional and stylish, she made excellent recommendations I will definitely be back and tell my friends about the shop and how helpful and friendly Charlene was I loved her style she put me at ease and helped me feel confident in myself and try new styles there was lots to choose from for every occasion My new favourtie shop Charlene made my day !!!xx

Don’t buy from here. I paid around £800 for my dress but because of covid-19 my prom did not happen, they would not give me my dress despite paying the whole fee, and also refused to receive a refund.

Amazing place to go to get dresses. The worker is very nice and gives you lots of privacy and help when needed. Gives you lots of independence and advice too. Overall a wonderful experience

We visited the leeds store twice to look at dresses for a year 11 and 13 prom over half term. On both occasions we were the only people in the shop so it was individualised and tailored to our needs and requirements. My daughters were told to freely wonder around and collect any dresses that they would like to try and add to a specific rail. The staff encouraged them to try as many as they’d like, as many times as they’d like. They were never put under pressure or felt that they were taking too much time as we found in other ‘shops’. They were allowed and encouraged to take photos and walk around in the dresses to see how they felt. Again, so unlike others venues we had visited.
We left after the first visit without purchasing a dress as we had an appointment elsewhere for the next day. We were open about this but were not put under any pressure to buy there and then, or that we were wasting their time and we left feeling that we hadn’t ‘burnt any bridges’ by not buying there and then.

We did buy one dress a couple of days later from dress2party and I liaised with Natalie over the phone. Again there wasn’t pressure, she arranged for the dress to be shipped over from another store, information sent re a deposit to secure the dress and a second appointment made for Alex to try it again and the balance paid.

This venue is a little gem, on the edge of the city centre away from the bustle opposite a little bit of green space it’s hidden behind some imposing doors that open to a large, bright and airy room with space and a relaxing atmosphere with a friendly and understanding team led by Natalie for even my dress phobia, self conscious daughter to enjoy. Thank you.

We visited on Saturday and we couldn’t be more happier with the service we received from Toni. My daughter and her sister had come a few weeks prior to our appointment to try on styles and was also served by Toni on that occasion too. She was very helpful and friendly and had answers to whatever questions we had. We felt no pressure to decide on a dress and we’re given more than enough time to decide. My daughter was allowed to re try on the ones she liked before and also try on some new ones that had arrived which was lovely as she was unsure of what style she wanted.
We are thankful of the service offered to us to help my daughter pick out her prom dress as it is a very important experience for her

We booked an appointment for my daughter to try on some prom dresses. I emailed several shops and Dress 2 Party was the only one who replied to me. We were greeted by lovely staff. Dee-Ann who helped us was amazing, made my daughter feel comfortable. We were offered drinks and we weren’t rushed to choose. I felt like they couldn’t do enough for us. The dress selection was amazing. We bought the perfect dress for my daughters prom and guaranteed no one in her school would have the same dress! We are very happy & thank you :)

Staff very friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble, we spent 2 hours of being waited on and the staff new what dresses would suit the girls. Dresses are amazing, only trouble was deciding which one to take as all stunning 😍
