Probably a good product but useless…
Probably a good product but useless installation instructions & website. I want to like this water filter - it looks lovely and the water tastes good but it took me a long time and finally a phone call to get it set up. Now they are offering a replacement filter subscription but they give me no info about just which filter I need! Very frustrating.

We believe that you ordered the British Berkefeld system, meaning that the filter you require for your replacement would be either the Ultra Sterasyl or Ultra Fluoride. When purchasing your system, you would have chosen one of these, so we would suggest re-ordering the same if you are happy with which contaminants they reduce. If you do need any further assistance, please do let me know, and we will review the information available to see what improvements we may be able to make to help in the future. Thank you again.
Excellent customer service
The customer service advisor was really helpful in answering my questions. I said that I was dyslexic and struggle with written instructions, she promptly emailed me some useful 'how to' videos. I had to watch these several times, it would be better to make them a bit longer at a slower pace. I received a very good discount on my filter unit and it was delivered very soon after ordering . I must be honest and say that I had misread/misunderstood the cost of replacement filters, which seem expensive to me. However, over the next few days, I will consider a subscription to get these at a lower price. Overall, an excellent service from Doulton.

No more effluent..
I think the Camelford, Cornwall incident of 1988, Lancashire 2015 & Brixham, Devon 2024 incidents all show the water authorities atrocious and inadequate response.
Recently every day for weeks, in Chester you can see the sewerage works discharging effluent into the River Dee, obvious by the brown bubbling foam & visible faeces floating for miles. Sickenly the water intake is barely three to four miles upstream of this outlet.
So in response I bought a Berkefeld with stand and water level indicator.
I now feel safer, however it is a shame Dutton Berkefeld doesn’t also incorporate or offer a UV light apparatus as an optional extra, that would make me even more confident in my water.
I have to admit the water is more silky and smooth and has lost the “taste” of the local tap water.

I am very pleased with the purchase
I am very pleased with the purchase. Easy to assemble and the water tastes great. One small issue. The gravity filter arrived with a couple of significant dents in the body but that was probably carelessness on the part of the carriers, and I was able to knock the dents out in a couple of minutes. Apart from that I am very happy with the quality of the product and ease of use.

A very good friend of mine, so enjoyed the filtered water I use. Bought a Doulton water filter about a year ago. With his Birthday coming up I purchased one for him. He is very happy with his gift, and is drinking much more water now, which is so good for his health, especially as it now has no micro plastics, or chlorine in it.

Fantastic company, brilliant product and super fast delivery. These filters are the original and real deal, way higher quality that most of the other products on the market. They filter to a much higher standard than the American copy filters.

Very disappointing experience
It was a very unpleasant experience.
I have regretted ordering this item on their official site.
The delivery reach days later without any explanation, although the site has mentioned that it was delivered it hadn't. costumer service took days to get back to my email and you could not reach Doulton by phone.
its really sad to see such poor performance on such high priced luxury item.
