Dorset and Wight LTD Anmeldelser

We needed to arrange two LPA's and had read the excellent reviews received for DorsetandWight.
Nigel visited our home and met the family involved. Everything was explained and he was extremely helpful.
The documents have now arrived and he is there should any further assistance be required.
Thank you for your excellent service.

Lee visited us in our home and was friendly and easy to chat to. He was also able to explain everything to us in a clear way and answer any questions that we had. We felt totally confident that he would do an efficient job for us, which he did.

We found Lee Skilton to be professional and caring.
We required the full Wills, Power of Attorney, and Tenants in Common package and whist we had some idea of the consequences Lee as most helpful in explaining and pointing out all the pros and cons to enable us to make an Educated Decision.
We can confidently recommend the Excellent service provided by Dorset and Wight.

I cannot recommend this company enough. I had wanted to make a new will and the two power of attorneys for quite a while, but found the whole process too complicated.
The company representative offered sound advice and showed great expertise in his field.
The whole process went very smoothly, with very little effort needed by myself.

Lee was very professional, knowledgeable and thorough and we were happy for him to do our estate planning. He made sure we understood everything and were happy with it at every stage.

He mentioned a lot of things that we hadn't thought of and confirmed what we already knew.

I would not hesitate to recommend Lee and his company. Thank you.

Dealing with my older sister & brother in law’s health and financial issues made me aware that my wife and myself needed to get our own house in order. We already had wills in place but no Power of Attorney’s, and having spotted an advert in a local “freebie” we contacted Dorset & Wight to make an appointment. This was duly kept on the correct day & time, with full details of prospective costs and time scales being provided. Following this presentation we both decided for Dorset & Wight to arrange our LPA’s and these were duly processed within the approximate time period previously agreed. Yes, LPA’s can be dealt with by making your own applications, but our advice would be to let someone as competent as Dorset & Wight deal with it, because any small error will delay your application and could result in the application being rejected and additional costs being incurred.

Nigel helped make the process simple, thank you!

A very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable service from Nigel in our own home. He was very respectful of our wishes and guided us through the process with great care. There were 2 visits, the 1st to sort out all the details and the 2nd to get all the documents signed and witnessed in the right order. Communication was great all the way through. Would highly recommend for a caring and professional service.

Very good service and kept informed of the progress of my documentation. Nigel is well informed and easy to talk with so from my first face to face meeting to receiving all my documentation it was a 1st class service.

A very personal and knowledgeable service was provided. We had the opportunity to ask questions and great care was taken to ensure that we understood every step of the process. We felt supported through excellent advice without feeling pressured. Lee was very professional whilst being approachable at all times.

I had a little knowledge of the process surrounding LPAs but I was very glad to have advice from a professional. Mr Skilton talked through the all the details and corrected some of our misapprehensions .
He checked thoroughly that we knew the implications for ourselves and our attorneys of making financial and health and welfare decisions in the future, especially as so much relevant information could be online.
He made a return visit in the presence of ourselves and our attorneys to check that the documents were all signed and witnessed in the right order.
At all times he was courteous, professional and to the point.

Mr Nigel Skilton was very helpful and explained everything in detail to each one of us and put our minds at ease and left us with confidence that all will be OK
I haqe already recommended him to some of my friends

Although my will would be classed as a simple straightforward document, Nigel treated me with the respect of someone with a large and complicated document. Every step along the way was dealt with very professionally and nothing was too much trouble to explain any query I may have had. The one thing I very much appreciated was the speedy way he dealt with me via email if I had a query. I am hard of hearing so phone calls were out of the question. I knew after a few minutes into the making of the will I knew I was in good hands and I trusted his recommendations at every step of the procedure.
Thank you Nigel for your kindness shown and also your patience. Highly recommendable !!!

Excellent! Very professional and friendly service from first contact, guiding us through the whole process.
Would highly recommend!

Nigel was prompt, friendly and understanding. The process didn't feel too drawn out and everything was explained clearly. Easy having him come to our home and never felt pressured. Thank you!

Nigel provided an expert and efficient service in connection with preparing and submitting of lasting power of attorney applications, guiding me through the whole process and keeping me informed of progress throughout.

Nigel has been nothing short of a pleasure to deal with. He was instructed to prepare an update of my nana's will and came to the nursing home to meet with her. He was the perfect balance of respectful and friendly, putting her totally at ease with the process and making the legalese ease for her to understand. His communication was excellent throughout. I would highly recommend him and his services to anyone.

Lee has been first class. He makes himself available whenever required, is reliable and is able to explain complex issues simply to the layman. He is very easy to get on with and a pleasure to do business with. His support team, when required, have been equally efficient and effective.

From start to finish the way in which my business was taken care of was exemplary. A home visit was prompt following initial phone contact and business conducted in a most efficient manner with great courtesy and understanding of the matter.

My wife and I felt very comfortable discussing with Nigel what is a difficult subject.
We felt very reassured that all our wishes had been covered in the discussions we had together, and we would not hesitate to recommend him to our friends and family.
