Received what looks like a 2-page invoice for services rendered for domain hosting for $288 with the words "lease remit payment to address on reverse [po box 19607 Las Vegas, NV 89132-0607] by October 26, 2024. On one line in the middle of the page it says "this is not a bill. This is a solicitation. You are under no obligation to pay the amount stated above unless you accept this offer." While they do state it is not a bill by presenting their solicitation in this way with no cover letter or other identification stating that this is not a bill they are obviously hoping to take advantage of overworked or careless employees. Not only is this deceptive marketing but charging $288 for a domain listing which can be had for $20 or less by a reputable listing company like GoDaddy is an absolute rip-off adding insult to injury.
This is a total scam. They intentionally send out ads that look like invoices in an attempt to get money from businesses that believe it is a bill. This is a horrible business practice.
From what I can tell they are basically a yellow pages for websites. Just use Google.
Sends a solicitation for an unnecessary service posing as a bill.
A simple question and a very rude response. A horrible person on the other end of this call. I wanted them to remove my company from their mailing and I get a hang up. I called back to get a manager and another hang up. i then placed them on an auto dialer until she gets me a manager. We'll see how this goes'.
Extremely Misleading. Received what looks to be a website domain invoice in the mail. I called just to verify that it was not an invoice. He/she said, you answered your own question and hung up on me. Totally miserable employee. I bet they all get yelled at constantly for looking like a legit company when they are a scam. I am surprised they even answer the phone.
I feel compelled to share my experience with Domain Listings Directory to warn others about their questionable billing practices. As a domain owner, I recently received what appeared to be an invoice from Domain Listings Directory, requesting payment of $288 for listing my domain on their website.
However, upon closer inspection, I realized that this was not an invoice for services rendered but rather a deceptive advertising strategy targeting unsuspecting domain owners. Domain Listings Directory sends out unsolicited invoices disguised as legitimate bills, leading many businesses to believe that they owe payment for a service they did not request nor receive.
It's important for fellow business owners to be aware that Domain Listings Directory offers no tangible services besides listing domains on their website without consent. This practice not only wastes valuable resources but also preys on the trust of unsuspecting individuals who may be lured into paying unnecessary fees.
Deceptively invoicing for a non-service. A scam.
The owner of this site must be punished for fraud.
IT'S A SCAM. They send a sales pitch that looks like a bill! When I called to check up on it the lady was RUDE and hung up on me, thats when I realized it was a scam.
Received an invoice from this company. Not the first time. You might think it is a bill for you domain name renewal. It does say, that it is not a bill, but a solicitation and you are not obligated to pay unless you accept the offer. As our non-profit organization has only two paid staff, we were able to check to see who we renew our domain with. In a larger company, it might not be caught. We have put this company down in our accounts payable vendors as a do not pay vendor, so that going forward and new staff is hired, it will be easier to catch as just a scam.
Totally scamming businesses for $288 to be listed on a directory that does what ? Adds to their bank account that’s what. Do not fall victim to these people. It will not drive an a ounce of traffic to your website.
Sends a terrible bait and switch AD that tries to trick people into thinking is an invoice. Just another junk bait and switch company with no positive feedback online. Keep up the good work fellas.
Not only are they scammers. They're rude scammers! They obviously get so many people like me calling them to find out how they think they can sell a domain listing I already own, that the person who answered barked at me about not having read the complete letter and then hung up on me. I had been perfectly kind and courteous and was actually hoping to find out about the actual directory service they offer. Nope. She didn't care in the least about my business, not after she heard me figure out, kindly, that this was a directory service, not an request for me to renew my domain with them (that's what the letter looks like). Jerks!
Scam company sending out deceptive and predatory fake invoices. They offer no actual benefit, do not affect search engine performance and are simply a scam.
I have had nothing but a great experience with them I recommend to anyone

They send a mailing looking like a bill. They are Scammers. They do have a disclaimer on the page, so Please read it. IT IS A FAKE BILLING INVOICE. NO INTEGRITY!
I am not sure how these people sleep at night. They might be legal in what they do but offer a service that is useless. The search engines of the world do what they offer for free and better.
It is an unsolicited offer as no-one would ever ask for it.
I received a bill today from Domain Listings 10/9/2021 for 228.00 Dollars
It looked fake to me so I went to Name Cheap and looked up my domain name and I am paid until May of 2022. My renewal fee is only 13.98 for the next year. This is a terrible way to trick people into thinking they owe this to maintain their .com business. Always go to your domain provider and look up your due date. It is that simple. Name Cheap always notifies me by email that my domain name is coming up for renewal. I am not on automatic renewal because I chose to be notified. If you doubt something is legit and you get a funny feeling when you look at the invoice that something doesn't seem right go to your browser and type Review (the company name), in this case Domain Listings....boy will you get a surprise! One could say at least they refund the money but seriously, they never should have been billing anyone like this! Our domains are for us to manage with the company we signed up with not some outside third party that is pulling a fast one on so many people.
