Disqus is TERRIBLE at doing what it is supposed to be... having conversations is nigh impossible because more than 75% of the time comments are lost to the digital abyss. I wish sites would stop using it. Besides that, the censorship is un-American. Trash software.

When I tried to sign up, it asked me to verify my E-Mail, no email, tried to resend it... SoRrY AN ERROR OCCURRED, AND A 500 ERROR!!!!!!!!!!!!

Jeder meiner Kommentare wird ausnahmslos entfernt . Ich schrieb dann, diskutieren wird schwierig, wenn man sich grundsätzlich der Meinung des jeweiligen Autors anschließen muss.....aber auch wurscht, wurde ja auch entfernt. Diese Seite ist so unnützlich wie ein Kropf.

Zensurmaschine. Habe einen ganz normalen Kommentar abgegeben und er wurde sofort gelöscht, weil er kritisch gegenüber der Bank war, die mal wieder down war. Völlig ohne Grund. Braucht kein Mensch diesen Dienst.

inutile, probabilmente l'ennesimo servizio fatto solo per monetizzare, non è possibile commentare nulla, ogni volta che si commenta qualcosa il messaggio finisce per essere bloccato come spam, nonostante in giro si leggono messaggi inappropriati ed insensati, quindi morale della favola, leggere solo articoli indispensabili per conoscere qualche indiscrezione su qualche prodotto e MAI scorrere fino ai commenti, che per la loro inutilità ed inconsistenza sembrano fatti apposta per farti registrare a questa piattaforma a vuoto...

We thought DISQUS did something about "Tony T". But no. He is back as "Tony Tony" now.
"Law of the Jungle" is still at it. Uncontrolled.
Sorry to say, DISQUS remains to propel selective garbage.
If I could, I would banish DISQUS themselves.

I got banned for reporting the sexualisation of children.

The entirety of what happened is I saw someone sexualising the actors of stranger things season 4, we got into a back and forth and then they called me a pedo. I looked into them and their comments at that point I became aware that they were consistently sexualising children, and intentionally going into child-orientated communities to talk about sexual content with an easy example being they went into the Netflix Sea Beast community to talk about how big phalis could be and imaging how much semen the sea beast could produce.
Whenever interacting with people they knew were children this wouldn't even slow them down, and in fact it would often make things worse.

The three most common types of posts this person made were 1. sexualisation posts, 2. scat posts and 3. false allegations of pedophilia (Usually whenever they were losing arguments)

I reported this person, my report got deleted, I complained about this and stated how incredibly important it was moderate people who are sexualising children on their platform and they banned me, in the process of banning me they also deleted every comment I made.

At no point did they communicate with me in any way what-so-ever. No responses, no email, no nothing.
I have since checked back and the person I reported is still on the site, they are still active and they have now made 2k+ comments.

Honestly my whole response to the situation is "Wow, So glad they banned me since I don't want to be involved with anything that happens on a platform that bans people for THAT" I honestly just don't want to deal with Disqus anymore but I will happily bring up why I was banned because it's important for people to know such information in order to keep their kids safe.

Kritische aber dennoch sachliche Beiträge wurden trotz der Bitte um eine Erklärung kommentarlos mehrfach entfernt. So ist keine Diskussion möglich.

Diskus ist zu einem Sammelsurium von Zensoren verkommen, die entweder nicht Willens oder Fähig sind, Beiträge zu lesen oder zu verstehen. Die Funktion des likens oder dislikens könnte getrost erweitert werden um "wir ignorieren ihre Meinung". Ein Stern für Diskus ist aus meiner Sicht für das Obrigkeithörige Handeln schon zuviel.
Vielleicht kommt auch mal wieder eine wirklich demokratische Disskusionskultur weit weg von Staats und Medienzensur

Selbst Statistiken und Daten werden einfach entfernt.
Keine Meinungsfreiheit.Diese Leute sollten vor gericht.

Continuano a inviarmi mail di spam dopo aver cancellato l'account. Dalle impostazioni dell'account avevo esplicitamente chiesto di non ricevere email, ma non funziona, ho così cancellato l'account e continuo a ricevere le loro email "Disqus Digest". Questa è una palese violazione delle regole GDPR, i miei dati, mail compresa DEVONO essere cancellati dai loro server, ma non recepiscono. Li ho diffidati 2 volte, se continuano li denuncio.

We've had this plugin on our website for ages and it worked fine but recently they made it not free anymore and they started putting ads on our website WITHOUT OUR PERMISSION. That is sooo unbelievably messed up!! If we want to get rid of these ads on our website we have to pay them money or disable the plugin (and potentially lose any previous comments people have made on our website?). Terribly disappointed with disqus!!!

Do not create a Disqus account if you do they will sell your ip address and all your data to a 3rd party so that they can "target ad's better". YOUR DATA IS WORTH MONEY NEVER GIVE IT AWAY! the main reason they want your data is probably selling.

Non capisco l'utilità di un forum in cui se incontri un problema, non solo non vieni aiutato, ma manco ti pubblicano per riceverne o darne.
Decisamente inutile!
