We booked a Jeep Wrangler through Discount Florida Car Hire for our three-week trip last month and couldn’t fault the experience. The price was excellent, and being able to skip the rental desk queues at Orlando Airport and go straight to the car park was an absolute game-changer after a long flight.

Before travelling, I changed my mind on the vehicle twice and cancelled two previous bookings. Both cancellations were handled quickly and easily via the website, with no penalties at all.

Any questions I had were answered lightning-fast by Andy and his team, which made planning the trip far less stressful—especially as it was my first time doing this. Friendly, efficient, and genuinely helpful service throughout. I wouldn’t hesitate to use them again.

I think the best test is a company is not how cheap the prices are, it's how do they react when things go wrong. Andy at Discount Florida Car Hire is amazing. We booked our car through him to collect at MCO. There was an issue (my fault) collecting it and despite the fact it was 10pm UK time he had it all sorted out in just a few minutes. His service really was above and beyond what I would have expected and turned what could have been a holiday disaster into a minor bump which was soon forgotten.
Highly recommended and will definitely use again, not just because they have the best prices.

having known very little about this company but heard good things i decided to book a rental car with them.
The prices on offer were excellent and a number of key insurance products were included as standard.
I spoke with Andy was very helpful and he also explained that if the price dropped during the run up to going away then contact him by email and just rebook. That is exactly what happened so first plan cancelled re booked saving around £300 on the same booking ! Perfect. Alamo very good no lines or queues just skip the counter and straight to garage and out once we picked the car. No upsell of other things at the hire desk, all skipped.
This was a brilliant service and if i am going to florida will use them 100% prices much better than the standard stuff and insurances included.
Can only highly recommend - do it ! You wont regret it!

I have used Andy for my US car hire for several years. He always offers the best customer service and his prices are always lower than his competitors. He uses all the main rental companies and is always efficient in sorting out any queries that might arise with the rental companies, if any issues occur. I would highly recommend Andy and his team. I use them all the time, nothing is too much trouble. If you have an issue with your booking or it reduces in price they change the booking for you free of charge!

I've used DFCH for at least 10 years and multiple times in any one year. I've occasionally researched prices direct with car hire companies and DFCH are always better. I have also changed times and dates of hire on some occasions. None of these have been difficult to do and have resulted in me getting exactly what I needed with no issues in terms of changes or refunds. On the odd occasions my bookings have got complicated (due to me, not DFCH) I have contacted Andy and his team via email or telephone and everything has been resolved with speed and no fuss whatsoever. I have no relationship with the company or anyone that works for it but if you are thinking of using DFCH, just do it.

Excellent service from Andy. We were faced with the hurricane when we arrived in Florida so I had to cancel and re-book the car hire twice. This was never an issue and was handled professionally and quickly, I would highly recommend discountfloridacarhire.

Rented a satnav for my 2 week trip to Florida. Satnav arrived and was not working. It had no maps on it, it was out of date. Had to download garmin on my laptop and update the satnav myself with the appropriate maps for it to work, even then i was not sure it would work and would only find out when getting into Florida! This was a few days before I was due to leave.

I emailed Andy, no apology or even compensation for sending a satnav I had to update myself. If this was someone who was not computer savvy, there would not have been enough time to get another satnav out. I am appalled by the lack of service and not even taking accountability for sending a satnav that was not fit for purpose.

If you are planning a trip to Florida, I'd recommend hiring a car with a build in satnav, get an E-Sim and sync your phone to the car to use Google maps. Much more accurate especially with all of the road works currently going on over there.

From getting a quote to changing things along the way this company has been excellent. The step by step guides on how to get your rental without queueing was very clear and easy to follow. Have booked with them again for next year.

Perfect service and a great price. The communication was great throughout and made it a simple process. We were advised to use Alamo advance online check in and were able to simply walk straight to the on terminal car park and select our vehicle and drive to the exit security gate. Just arrived back from our dream Florida holiday. Booked our car hire through Andy around 5 months prior to travel. I think our quote was around £100-£200 cheaper than the comparable websites. Booking process was simple and straight forward and balance was due I think around 8 weeks before travel. Arrived at MCO and made our way to Alamo and the check in process again straight forward. Would highly recommend using discount Florida car hire and will definately be using again.

Incredibly helpful car hire company - we booked with Alamo for our Miami Florida trip. So smooth, lots of information, helpful advice and one of the best experiences we have had in the minefield that can be car hire abroad. We also booked their sat nav which turned out to be really helpful even though we had google maps etc.
