I was recommended going here
I have had a midfoot fusion and heel graft and needed some expert advice. Well the lady that helped me was amazing being patient with me trying on a wide variety of shoes. Suggesting things I can try to help my recovery. Phenomenal service above and beyond ! Highly recommend anyone who needs the right advice give them a visit

Placed an order 5th Aug, Hoka trainers for my son’s birthday, (late request from him!). received delivery 6th Aug.
I was unsure about ordering from this company because of negative review, I am so pleased I did order.
Good selection on running trainers, all brands. They have a treadmill to try them out. Be sure on your size before you buy or you could be left loosing lots of money from selling them on. Going on a treadmill is not a true reflection.
I was told on Hoka trainers to go a size up which is not the case.
Incredible customer service from Carolyn, she was so helpful in getting many pairs for me to try on, ensuring good fit and comfort. This is my fourth visit here, I would not go anywhere else!
Had some technical issues trying to buy from their website, however, i called them up, were very polite on the phone and they put a pair of Salomons i was after to the side. Called up the next day and they got it all sorted that day, shipped and arrived the following day. Fantastic service, highly recommend.
Ordered a pair of running shoes and they were delivered next day. Great online service and very competitively priced, especially if you are in a club with their club discount.
Although not a runner, I do a lot of walking and as I suffer with metatarsal pain require extremely comfortable cushioned trainers. Many thanks to Will for his expert advice and recommendation.
Great shop where I bought my first (of many) running shoes back in 2017.
Bought some trainers from their webshop and they sent me completely the wrong pair. They were quick enough to send out a return label but then seemed to lose interest and didn't bother to keep me updated about getting the correct pair sent. Got a bit shirty too, as if it was somehow my fault, and then just stopped replying to emails.
Delivery was two days after ordering and it wasn't over packaged. Would use again.
After many years of struggling with repeated calf injuries and thousands of pounds of physio all while thinking I was in suitable shoes after a gait analysis previously telling me I over pronated. I went for an assessment/fitting with Rob at The Derby Runner in Spring 2025. He listened to the problems I had, looked at current trainers, put me in neutral shoes on the treadmill and looked at the video. His opinion was I needed neutral trainers and recommended some options to test. Went home very happy with 2 pairs.
No problems since, I’ve upped my mileage and pace, can now enter events and can (nearly) keep up with my wife who’s a proper runner!

Had my gait analysis done on medical recommendation due to a dodgy knee and Rob was amazing! He explained the slow motion video to me so I now understand my running style.
After my telling off (in the nicest possible way) for running in my son's old trainers I bought my new trainers and have just used them for the first time and smashed a new PB at ParkRun 💪🏼

I've used Derby Runner for years and always been happy. I probably should have left a review years ago, but was prompted to do it by my Mum today, who also always uses Derby Runner for her trainers. I took her over for some new running shoes. She's 71 and has really lost her confidence since having a twist which resulted in an injury a couple of months ago. Rob was really helpful talking through how that was affecting what shoes she was finding comfortable, and making suggestions for something that may work better for her.
Meanwhile I tried on every pair of racing shoes in the shop which I will buy at some point, but had no intention of getting today, and the other assistant working was hugely patient while I did it. Thank you!
