Amazing alternative to TrackIR TrackClip
First and foremost, support with Delan is superb. I was getting almost instant replies to any queries I had.
For anyone in the same boat, this is a perfect alternative compared to the track clip that TrackIR offer. The delanclip fusion works perfectly with a TrackIR 5 camera. No setup needed, just turn it on. Built much more sturdy and it is wireless and rechargeable. Cannot recommend it enough so far! Just stick it on to your headset, flick the on switch and you’re good to go!

Fast response if you have a problem
I bought Delanclip in 2018. I have been without playing for 3 years and when I tried to use it again I had troubles trying to configure it but thanks to the quick response by Tomasz in Delan in no time I have it working again. Thanks a lot! You are great!

About expected
Tracking itself is solid and the velcro holds tight, but the adhesive doesn’t. I’ve had to resort to zip-tying the clip to my headset every session, which works but is annoying when you don’t have a spare headset to just leave it on. The camera mount is also hard to get stable and always feels slightly off.
You’ll need to spend some time messing around in OpenTrack to get things dialed in. That’s not really a downside, but it’s something to expect. Compared to VR, this gives a decent sense of flight and is way more affordable, but it doesn’t feel natural. Not even close.
Price would’ve been reasonable, but after tax? Bruv. It starts feeling like a stretch for what you actually get. It can work well, but only if you're willing to put in the extra effort.

First, regarding the adhesive: the provided pads are industrial-grade 3M Dual Lock, which hold well for most setups. If they didn’t bond properly, it's likely due to surface texture, headset curvature, or dust. A quick email to us and we’d have helped with an alternative solution immediately—zip-tying shouldn't be necessary.
As for the camera mount: it’s designed for flat-top monitor edges, and when positioned as intended, it stays rock-solid. If you're using a unique setup (like a curved or thin bezel), we can offer guidance or alternatives—but again, that starts with contacting support, which we didn’t receive from you.
About OpenTrack: you’re absolutely right—it’s a powerful tool, and like any pro-grade software, it takes a little time to dial in. But that flexibility is also why our users love it. We offer a full manual to walk you through setup with minimal frustration.
On immersion—compared to VR, it’s a different kind of experience, but many of our users actually prefer head tracking for its performance, visibility, and comfort—especially for longer sessions. It’s not trying to be VR; it’s about giving precise, no-fuss tracking with your existing setup.
And finally—pricing. We hear this a lot, but here’s the truth: what you pay isn’t just for plastic and electronics. It covers UK-based support, a full 2-year warranty, precision-tested parts, and continued updates to keep the experience top-tier. And yes—import taxes are charged by your country, not by us. UK customers pay VAT too—it's just shown upfront.

It was fine
It was fine. I only bought this one because my previous one stopped charging. I am now on my third tracker from declan. The product overall is good. The cost of the international shipping is a bit exorbitant but not much other choices for the price. Of course that's outside of declans control so have not considered that as part of the review.

10/10 Tom is amazing
Tried this company because I didnt want to pay a lot more for a TrackIR and the tracker I got works amazing and has a nice sleek design and easy to setup. I had an issue with it charging (was my fault in the end, tracker was fine) and after a few emails back and forth I got a new one sent out with a new charger and its flawless. Probably the fastest and easiest customer service ive ever had even even replied within 5-20 mins. 10/10 would recommend

My Latest Delan Purchase
I bought a Delan fusion several years ago, and the camera finally gave up the ghost. During those years I had a few correctable issues and Tom was great at giving me personal advice to correct the problem. So I decided to try the lens Delan offers and purchase a PS 3 camera on Amazon. Did that and put it all together. Had terrible results. Contacted Tom and he told me disassemble the camera and he gave me through cleaning instructions. I did and the camera set up works perfectly. I would advise looking for a config file specifically for DCS online if you are using this set up for that sim.

Excellent, affordable tracking.

Dlanclip with camera has provided an excellent replacement - and extremely helpful support from Dlan got me up and running in FSX Steam in short order! Couldn't be more pleased.

Had the Track IR pro for years. I sold it when I didn't play more sim. And then years after. I missed it. Bought the Delan Clip fusion pro and im very pleased with it. Seems like a very good quality. And extra plus that it's on batteris so no wires. So far, excellent piece of equipment.
