Very competitively priced item , fast shipping it ended up arriving 5 days early and the tracking from the blogistics company they use was very good

I ordered sailing boots weeks ago, for a trip next week, they have not arrived. They do not have a customer care number only a email which had a automated response, very disappointing. Will not shop with them again

Very disappointing experience with Decathlon Ireland.

My order was sent without a tracking code being properly provided to me. According to An Post, the parcel was supposedly delivered on September 14, but Decathlon never sent me an email confirming that the order had been delivered.

The parcel was not delivered to me. I checked around my property and asked my neighbours, but nobody received it.

I contacted Decathlon customer service, but so far nobody can tell me where my parcel actually is or what happened to it.

This has been a very frustrating and disappointing experience. A company should have proper tracking, clear delivery notifications and take responsibility when an order does not arrive.

After this experience, I would not recommend buying from Decathlon. Very disappointing.

I purchased a bicycle over 3 weeks ago, the delivery was confirmen for Monday 31st August and they still have not sent it. Costumer service is very dismissive and they ignore my emails. They still not process my reimbursement.

If I could give a review of less than one star I would, awful customer service. Bought a treadmill that broke less than six months later and have been chasing them for weeks with no reply to emails or somebody new emails to ask what the problem is all over again. Awful awful experience that is still not resolved. They are ignoring me completely now and I’m out of pocket 800 euro, never ever buy from them.

Waiting a month for an order I made. Never even left their warehouse.

Support kept promising an update within 48 hours. Never happened.

At least I got my refund when I demanded it on the second attempt

I am extremely disappointed with my experience purchasing this treadmill through Decathlon Ireland.
My original delivery date was 8th September, which was then changed to 11th September. Neither date was met, and I had to repeatedly contact customer service trying to establish where my order was. At one point I was even sent a request to review the delivery despite the treadmill not having been delivered.
When I eventually received tracking information, some of the links provided did not give me usable tracking information. The treadmill was eventually delivered, but unfortunately the problems did not end there.
On opening it, I discovered that it had been supplied with a European two-pin Schuko plug rather than a plug suitable for an Irish socket. No suitable adapter or Irish/UK power lead was included, and I did not see anything on the product listing making it clear that I would need to purchase additional electrical equipment before I could use the treadmill.
So after waiting beyond two delivery dates and repeatedly chasing my order, I finally received the treadmill only to find that I cannot actually plug it in and use it.
I purchased through Decathlon Ireland and expected a much better standard of service. I am currently waiting for Decathlon/the Marketplace seller to resolve the plug issue, so I cannot even properly review the performance of the treadmill itself yet.
Overall, a very disappointing purchasing experience.

I bought a pair of sneakers in a Dublin Decathlon shop last 3 September. My daughter used them only three days while we were in Ireland and they broke.

On 10 September we went to a Spanish shop to explain the problem and look for a refund. However, the shop assistant told us that they couldn't do anything because we bought them in Ireland. I called the Decathlon Client department in Spain and they gave me the email address to contact and achieve a refund. Ireland Decathlon suggest bring the item back to the instore team with the receipt and they will assess the shoes and then issue a refund/exchange depending on what their findings are. The cost of that is higher than the value of the sneakers. I am very disapointed with the solution proposed.

Shit company to deal with no interest in helping you won't answer phones and when you do get through they are pig irogant there is now customer service.

I have been waiting on a delivery of a bicycle for a long time now and I received a mail from Decathlon Ireland, asking me if I am happy with my delivery, although I have not received it. The e-mail address does not work. All my mails get sent back to me undelivered. The telephone number also does not work. The recording tells me to use the e-mail address which doesn’t work and when I press 1 for further assistance, the phone line goes dead after a couple of rings. There is literally no way to get in touch with this company at all. Stay away from this company. Take your business elsewhere. It’s just a nightmare.

I went into Decathlon Ballymun to have a look around as I was thinking about buying a bike. I honestly had very little knowledge about bikes and wasn't sure what I needed or where to start.
I met Alison in the bike section, and she was absolutely amazing. She was so helpful, knowledgeable and patient, and took the time to explain everything to me and help me choose the right bike and all the accessories I needed.
Alison was actually due to finish work and go home, but she still took the time to go through everything with me and make sure I understood what I was buying and had everything I needed. She really went above and beyond and made the whole experience so easy and enjoyable.
Thanks to Alison's help, I ended up buying the bike along with all the accessories I needed. I went in not knowing much at all about bikes, but I left feeling confident that I had chosen the right one.🚲

Never heard of Decathlon "Marketplace" so when their website said "Sold and shipped by Pro Sport Lights" I misread it and assumed that was a company that just delivered the order for Decathlon (as I had bought from Decathlon and that order was great) I was wrong... The package arrived (delivered by GLS) looking like it was attacked by an angry dog. I'm just relieved that what I ordered was tools in a tool box so the destruction was just to the cardboard box the order came. It's a warning though to never order anything here again, definitely not anything in any way breakable. IE5U8GAK88TP-A

I visited the decathlon store in ballymun this afternoon and had a very pleasant experience.
Staff member Jonah was extremely helpful, friendly and professional. Great customer service. Thank you Jonah for your help.

I received my order which most was fabulous, the poncho towel I bought as a present for someone arrived with no tags what so ever, which is not ideal, and very very disappointing, when you purchase new clothing from a company and pay for postage, you expect you item to come as it should with the original tags on. So Guys be very careful when shopping from this company, I've been shopping in Decathlon for years and gave never been disappointed but this is just simply not good enough.

Stay away from buying anything from this company.

Bought my daughter a push bike and was the wrong one so simply returned it a day or so after it was delivered. Still in the box never opened. 5 weeks later and 12 emails later I'm still waiting on my refund.

Customer service is useless and in 12 emails I have had only 3 replies saying they are working on a solution.

Spend your money elsewhere stay well away!!!

I wanted to purchase an ebike that was suddenly out of stock online (had been in stock an hour earlier!). In store, Mona Lisa was the assistant who helped me, and she went to loads of trouble to see if she could find that make and model for me. And she did! Because I already have that make and model (an old one) I wanted the same so I could use the same batteries in both. I have not met so lovely, polite, helpful and just so nice a person as Mona Lisa in a long time, though I have to say all of the staff I met were very good. – Decathlon, O'Connell Street, Dublin, Ireland

I ordered a bike as a present for my wife, they said it would delivered a month ago but still no bike . You can’t ring them only emails that reply with “we will look into it” answers . The worst I’ve seen from a big company.. very bad. You feel like you’ve been scammed. Hugh

I had a very disappointing experience with this company.

I ordered a pair of K-Swiss runners in my usual UK size, as the website clearly displayed UK sizing. When the shoes arrived, they were the wrong size. After contacting customer support, I was informed that the shoes had been supplied by a marketplace seller who uses EU sizing. The representative apologised and acknowledged that there was an issue with how the sizes were displayed on the website.

What surprised me most was that, despite admitting their mistake, I was asked to "try them on" to see if they fit. Unsurprisingly, they were still the wrong size.

I then attempted to arrange a return. The only return option offered was a courier drop-off point approximately an hour away from where I live. I explained that I do not drive and asked if I could return the item via An Post or arrange an alternative courier collection at my own address. Both requests were refused, and I was told I would have to travel to their chosen drop-off location.

Since raising the issue again by email, I have received no further response from customer service.

Mistakes can happen, but what matters is how a company resolves them. In this case, the company acknowledged the error, supplied a product that did not match the advertised sizing, then failed to provide a reasonable and accessible return solution. The lack of communication afterwards has only added to the frustration.

Unfortunately, I cannot recommend purchasing from this retailer based on my experience.

If I could give zero stars I would have, I didn’t search trust pilot as I thought decathalon were reputable company! DO NOT BUY ONLINE! Customer service is atrocious & no contact no, email keeps failing, I eventually got through Facebook messenger, after 11 days waiting for my 400 euro order, today was supposed be final delivery day wen I looked this morning it hadn’t dispatched so I emailed them a picture of my order stating it hadn’t dispatched and I would like a full refund but hey 2 mins later it’s processed, it hasn’t processed in the previous 11 days that I was checking! Again asked for full refund to be told items will deliver in the next 6/7 days!! Will never buy from them again absolute chancers, they say I can refuse my items and get a full refund but I’m wary of this option as I don’t trust them! Moral of story do not buy save urself the hassle

I paid for items online and delivery arrived today. No notification that an item was out of stock. Refunded but appalling that they did not communicate. I have never experienced this online before. No contact provided, of course!!
