CyberPanel presents itself as a professional solution, but my experience has shown otherwise. Despite no formal organization or registered company behind it, they operate as though they are a structured entity. I requested a refund for their services, but it was denied, and after that, I received no further response to my inquiries. This lack of accountability and customer support raises serious concerns about their credibility and reliability.

Cyberpanel truly deserves all the stars! I recently had an issue accessing a backup, and their support team went above and beyond to provide free assistance, which is rare these days. Cyberpanel has always been an incredibly simple way to get a VPS up and running quickly, complete with a fully integrated email server that scores 10/10 on spam tests, blazing fast WordPress sites with LiteSpeed, and full SSL support seamlessly integrated with Cloudflare.

This was my first time reaching out to their support, and they exceeded all my expectations. Their prompt help has made me even more committed to using this amazing open source platform. Highly recommended to anyone looking for a reliable and easy-to-use VPS management solution!

Running 2 servers for students and faculty on Digital Ocean using CyberPanel.
When we were having issues Shoaib Khan Khattak was incredibly responsive to help us get back up and running.

The web hosting panel has some real issues that could use improvement. It feels like updates are released without thorough regression testing, leading to features occasionally breaking or not working as expected.

The interface can feel a bit clunky, and there are times when it doesn’t seem as secure as it could be.

While it might work for smaller, non-critical projects, I’d recommend approaching with caution if you’re considering it for something larger or more stable. With some refinements, it could be a more reliable option, but it’s not quite there yet in 2024.

Not to mention, the vulnerability due to poor code, which exposed over 22,000 servers running this software to ransomware and bitcoin mining.

Alright, so, CyberPanel got breached just a week ago, and my VPS was affected, so I emailed them for support. They responded quick & prompt, offering to fully fix my VPS for me as it was affected by a cryptojacker. So, would recommend CyberPanel even with their shortcomings.

Using Cyberpanel for a couple of years now. Still love it. After a upgrade to te latest version there where Some issues. I got really good help from the support. Thank you for all your good services.

CyberPanel is in under attack.
I’ve been in IT for over 14 years, and I’ve never faced a data loss disaster of this magnitude. I lost everything 9 main sites and 8 on subdomains. And few under development projects.. Server was completely hacked. I and my team took it back but damage has been done. Because of CyberPanel’s weak security. Almost every CyberPanel user’s server get hacked.

I tried to contact with support team. I gave server access to their 2 developers. But they did nothing. And they started disappearing with very minimal response like we are working, we need more time. And they started ask for backups. Because it’s been 5 days and still they are unable to fix it. Even patches they release not working. And they are trying to wipe everything and install fresh build and restore backups. Why people would need your assistance if everyone have latest/updated backups.

Their recent response was we can’t fix it because files are encrypted due to malware attack. They are claiming on FB group they already helped 100 of servers. What helped? Restoring backups? Is this you guys helped?

I think it is end of CyberPanel.
There can be two reasons of this disaster/security leak
They are not enough professionals and can’t handle it on big scale.
Maybe one of their team member did this mischief

It’s like CyberPanel is their part time project. Because it has never been stable.
And they always blame cloud/service providers like contabo etc.

I hope the CyberPanel team will learn form this incident because what happened at this time has caused huge damage to people’s businesses.

I would not recommend CyberPanel in any case. Because I don’t want anyone else’s business to suffer the same way I did and other like me. Who they are still using CyberPanel. They must migrate to other panels.

Their level of support is unmatched, they are very quick to respond and are very helpful, I couldn't thank them enough for the help they provided!

They offer a 7-day trial/refund period for their all addons. After two days, and seeing that their product was not what I expected, I requested a refund and they completely ignored me, with no response.

I have opened a ticket and they refuse to refund me, they are scammers and their after-sales service is terrible.
