I had a very good experience with this company. The attention and customer service were excellent from beginning to end. The sales team was very professional, friendly, and always willing to help with any questions I had. They made the whole process smooth and easy. I truly appreciated their communication and support throughout the experience. Highly recommended.

The staff is amazing, like a lot the store aesthetic; they have a good selection of products.

Under no circumstances should you consign your items with them. I chased for payment for over a year, and had to file a Letter Before Claim (i.e. threaten to go to Small Claims court) for them to finally pay. Absolute SCAM.

I am extremely disappointed with the service I have received from CSD. I entrusted them with three high-end items to sell, one of which was sold in December. Despite this, I have yet to receive any payment, several months later.

Attempts to contact the company have been consistently unsuccessful, as I have been unable to reach anyone by phone or receive a meaningful response through other channels. This lack of communication is unacceptable, particularly given the value of the items involved.

At this point, I have serious concerns not only about the outstanding payment, but also about the whereabouts and security of my remaining items that have not yet been sold.

Based on my experience, I would strongly advise others to exercise caution before using this service.

UPDATE as of 7th May in response to CSD:

Interestingly, CSD responded to my review to say I'd been paid and to paint them in a good light. What they failed to mention is that this only happened because I went to the Marylebone store in person and refused to leave until the issue was dealt with. I had to repeatedly push for answers and become visibly frustrated before anyone took meaningful action.

While I was there, another customer came into the store saying they were still owed £3,000 after waiting for over a year. The atmosphere and overall situation gave the clear impression of a company in serious difficulty. Based on what I witnessed, I would not be surprised if administration is around the corner.

For anyone currently owed money by CSD: do not accept vague promises or excuses. If you want any realistic chance of being paid, I would strongly suggest going into the store in person while you still can. I dealt with a calm and polite member of staff, and I genuinely felt sorry for them, but the reality is that nothing was resolved until I insisted that payment be made there and then.

Do not expect responses via WhatsApp or phone calls — in my experience, they simply do not engage. The money finally landed in my account last night, after months of chasing. An exhausting and deeply unprofessional experience from start to finish, though I am relieved to have finally recovered the money owed to me.

Sold multiple items with CSD, haven’t been paid for 5 months, website a scam, unresponsive team, on top of not paying they also damaged an item during inspection and refuse to take accountability .. overall a 0/10 experience , sellers beware!

This is not a legitimate consignment business. This is SYSTEMATIC, CALCULATED THEFT.

I consigned luxury items in January 2026. MONTHS of complete silence. When I finally said I would come to collect my items back - ONLY THEN did they suddenly "discover" my items had been sold. They had no intention of telling me otherwise.
It is now May. I have not received a single penny.

THE ENTIRE COMPANY IS TRAINED IN THIS SCAM:
From the store staff to customer service on the phone - they all have SCRIPTED ANSWERS.

They've created layers upon layers of fake accountability: store managers, head of operations, accounting team, sales team. ALL COMPLETE RUBBISH.

None of these people ever materialize. None of them ever call back.

I have been to the store in person multiple times. Called endlessly. Sent dozens of emails. Every conversation is the same script: "We're escalating this." "Management will call you." "Accounting is confirming." LIES.

They post cheerfully on Instagram while systematically defrauding consignors of thousands of pounds.

READ THE HUNDREDS OF IDENTICAL REVIEWS. This is not isolated incompetence. This is their BUSINESS MODEL.

DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR ITEMS. YOU WILL NEVER SEE YOUR MONEY.

This company should be investigated. Legal action is the only way to deal with them!

Despite numerous emails, going into the Marleybone store and attempts to call the head office, CSD accounts has failed to respond to when payment will be made for my classic Chanel bag sold in February. I am concerned by bag may be lost.

I explained I had to sell the bag due to missing work because of a cancer scare and needed the funds. I still have had no reply. I echo the complaints of others experience and would never recommend CSD for selling any items.

I left items with CSD Marylebone store in Oct 2025. Whilst they were initially communicative with sell prices, my experience with them since has been awful. Despite 7-8 emails to 3 Consign's email addresses to request a statement they've sent nothing other than intermittent replies with feeble apologies and promises that the sales team will respond with a statement. It's now end April '26 and nothing's transpired. Chasing them is tiring and a waste of my time. I wouldn't usually resort to Trustpilot to comment but it seems the only way to get a response. Interestingly, the positive reviews on this site are largely from purchasers and not the many frustrated sellers who, like me, are attempting to sell through CSD and may never see any gains from their efforts. Appalling and rude service, I'd encourage sellers to avoid leaving items with CSD. If CSD read this please have the courtesy to send my statement and any funds owing.

Total scam, never receive communication and most importantly payment. Avoid consigning with them.

Further to your request for me to email you, I have sent nine emails clearly detailing the issue. Your continued failure to address this matter appears to be a deliberate attempt to avoid dealing with the outstanding payments.

I have been owed over £200 for 2 items sold 14 months ago. Not nearly as bad as many on here but completely dishonest company. I have written many many emails and am constantly fobbed off. I've looked up the company at companies house and the accountant's phone number and address is listed (as are the companies owners and statements of accounts) so my next step will be to approach him directly and see if he is legitimate.

I have also asked for the return of other items I left on consignment as I have no faith in this company, but struggling to get them returned.

The 1 star is for the staff who work in the store as they are always pleasant.

Ich war immer sehr begeistert in den Stores in London und habe dort schon einiges erworben. Dann habe ich im Dezember selbst im Marleybone Store ein Kleid abgeben zum Verkauf. Der Prozess lief einwandfrei und es wurde direkt im Januar verkauft. Darüber habe ich aber keine Nachricht erhalten ich musste selbst auf der Website recherchieren. Es war für mehrere hundert Pfund inseriert und ich habe immer noch nicht meinen Erlös erhalten obwohl laut Vertrag zum Ende des verkaufsmonats ausgezahlt wird, was spätestens im Februar hätte passieren müssen. Per Email wird man immer nur vertröstet, seit Monaten, man verzweifelt regelrecht.Ich bin nun gezwungen rechtliche Schritte zu unternehmen da ich keinen anderen Weg sehe und keine Rückmeldungen mehr erhalte, geschweige denn Geld für mein Kleid. Ich bin unglaublich enttäuscht und werde sicher dort nichts mehr verkaufen. Dies ist für mich nicht seriös und zuverlässig.

Update vom 27.4. :das Geld wurde nun gezahlt und eine Bestätigung erfolgte auch. Schade , dass man erst diesen Weg gehen muss damit es so läuft wie man sich einen guten Kundenservice vorstellt. So kann ich wenigstens weiterhin im Store einkaufen gehen.

This company continues to operate without paying consignors. Anyone who works here, or shops here should truly be ashamed because they are supporting institutional crime.

Do not consign with CSD! Similar experience to others and I wish I had of read the reviews here before deciding to consign with CSD. I dropped off over £1,700 worth of items back in September 2025. In January 2026 I followed up asking for an update on whether any of my items had sold, it is now late April and I still have no answer. I have chased at least every 2 weeks (often more frequently). Many emails go completely unanswered and I still have no answer as to whether any of my items are sold and I am therefore owed money. Truly terrible customer service. Avoid at all costs.

Bought my wife her dream Chanel bag here and couldn’t be happier. The team were professional, helpful and made the whole experience feel special. The bag was beautiful, exactly as described, and gave me total confidence in its authenticity. My wife absolutely loved it.

A TOTAL SCAM - like hundreds of other customers, I have been ignored by CSD for 6 months. They have sold 2 Gucci handbags yet completely ignore all emails and messages and I have had zero payments. I have reported them to the police, watchdog and trading standards. Absolutely appalling. PLEASE AVOID!!!
