Outstanding family Sking trip

An absolute pleasure to deal with. Every member of the team rallied around us when our daughter had an accident. They went over and above, couldn’t recommend highly enough!

We are a family of five, aged 18 to 54, and we had an amazing experience with Crystal Ski from start to finish.

The bag drop in Dublin was seamless, with friendly and efficient staff. Our flight was on time, and the cabin crew were wonderful. Upon arrival in Innsbruck, we were met by plenty of helpful Crystal Ski reps who directed us to our bus transfer. The journey to our hotel, Edelweiss Gasthof in Mayrhofen, was smooth and we were dropped right outside.

The hotel was lovely and cosy, with a great atmosphere. We enjoyed our family meal on Christmas Eve and on Christmas Day, but make sure to book, as it is very busy. The food was delicious, with generous portions that kept us fueled for the slopes. Ski gear Collection at Brundl Sports, pre-booked through Crystal Ski, was well organized, though there was a long queue as it was very busy.

Mayrhofen is a beautiful town with friendly locals, plenty of nearby restaurants within walking distance, and briliant apres-ski options both on the slopes and in the town, catering to all ages. The gondola service ends at 5 pm, ensuring everyone returns from the slopes safely.

On our return, we received a helpful text with bus collection details. The daylight transfer back to Innsbruck airport offered stunning views of the magnificent scenery, making it a perfect end to our trip.

Crystal Ski provided a fantastic experience, with reps available 24/7 to assist. We couldn't have asked for more and are already looking forward to our next trip. Highly recommend!

Everything was ok

Buyer beware.. miss sold and badly treated by Crystal ski and the hotel Alpenhotel Kaiserfels in Tyrol Austria, no explanation for room downgrade only response from General manager was “what can I do I cant build you a room” 5 requests for the crystal Ski representative to contact us which never happened.. never ever would I deal with Crystal Ski or Alpenhotel Kaiserfels again, from beginning to end the whole holiday was a complete disaster I feel so robbed from my pocket to my first ever skiing holiday with my family never again, word of warning do not expect any type of satisfactory customer service from crystal ski you will not receive it…

Location, hotel, resort were excellent. Thoroughly enjoyed every minute. Food in the hotel was exceptional and the staff were friendly and efficient. Crystal reps were very approachable and always around to answer any questions or queries

THE REPRESENTATIVES ARE EXCELLENT AND VERY HELPFUL. EVERYTHING WAS VERY WELL ORGANISED AND THEY WERE ALWAYS ON HAND AND PLEASANT. EMMA WAS OUR REP AND SHE WAS GREAT AND NATASHA WAS ON OUR COACH TRIP AND SHE WAS VERY INFORMATIVE.

On a positive note, it was great to see the accommodation refurbished to a lovely standard. Unfortunately the house keeping let the accommodation down. Lightbulbs had blown, there was no hot water for two days, safe was not working, no window dressing or shutters on bedroom windows and the bath tap was out of order and didn’t work until the last day.
The resort was great as always. Quite runs with no waiting on any of the lifts. Prices were very affordable. Nightlife was minimal, which was fine for us. Food was excellent.
Ski lessons were paid via crystal ski when booking the holiday. One person did lessons for 5 days. The lessons were a complete waste of money. The instructor was good but due to not enough instructors, class started with 13 students! I’m not sure how much you can learn when your instructor is 12 people ahead of you. Ability was from people having skied once to having skied for 20yrs. Day 1 of 5 was spent dividing up students into groups. On Day 2 of 5 the intermediate class (mine) was being shown how to use a button lift. Off which one student fell on two occasions, while the 12 other students stood waiting for him to be rescued. The class was snowploughing for the week. I have been skiing for over 20yrs. This was not a suitable class for me and the choice was it or ‘beginner’ or ‘reds & black’ . As an intermediate skier, I was expecting a refresher & a confidence boost. I would not recommend booking lessons via Crystal Ski. When I went to the rep on site about the issue, they told me that the ski school is a third party!
The reps sent one text message during the entire holiday. Telling us the time of the coach back to the airport. Even that had to be corrected and resent. Very disappointed with Crystal Ski. Will return to La Thuile but not via Crystal Ski unfortunately.

Replacing reps with apps might boost profitability temporarily but it’s not working. Reps need to be properly trained and on their game.
Sitting in a hotel lobby for a set period / “being available” doesn’t equate to being interested in or caring about your clients.

Well managed, people available if needed ( there were not). Everything was as expected and promised. Pictures mtch the reality. The food at the Hotel tasted as good as the pictures. Transfers efficent. TUI plane crew excellent.

Friendly, available and honest. Kept you up to date on skiing, transfers etc... something I wasn't expecting. We really enjpoyed our ski trip.

thanks to Crystal Ski snow promise we were offered to change/ cancel the existing holiday to other region where there were much better conditions - they arranged everything last minute for us - the holiday went great - we got the perfect weather and ski conditions.

Crystal ski agent was very helpful over phone as was having trouble completing booking online.
Additional questions on the booking were dealt with very effectively.

We had a wonderful experience with Crystal Ski holidays on our recent trip to Bulgaria. Found them friendly and well organized, and they had a range of activities to offer aside from skiing. Special mention to August and Myrthe who assisted us in Borovets and at Lion Hotel Borovets. Excellent service from both.

It was all taken care of. From wen we got to the airport. Thay had staf at the chekin desk to help. And it was like that till we got to the accommodation. There was a rep in the village. In case you needed any help. Alpbach is a beautiful village. Conneys ski hire is a super police to rent your ski equipment. Ask for Sinead the Irish girl when you go in. She is so helpful and friendly. We were lucky enough to have powder skiing that week. So the off-peast was absolutely super.

Currently sitting on a bus in Turin for the past hour and half awaiting to go to France to our ski resort....staff don't seem to have a clue what the problem is, ultra disappointing because all the kids getting fed up and adults too!....plus probably have missed evening meal at hotel due to Crystal's complete disorganisation, has really put me off.....really slap dash ski company, ended up arriving at our hotel over 2hrs late and missed evening meal, no crystal rep present to offer help with check in etc, never again!!

I encountered a problem while trying to book online - the money went through but the booking failed. I phoned Crystal Ski the following morning and spoke to Beata Kalaposne who was absolutely fabulous and sorted out the problem for me very quickly. She even emailed me later that day to make sure that I had received the confirmation email.

Despite my holdiday being cancelled a few weeks before traved, due to a problems with the Hotel, all worked out in the end. I was offered alternative upgraded accomodation. Mark in customer services was more than helpful in arranging flights, transfers to be rebooked.
