It's so much work just to find which episode I wish to watch,
Why isn't it an option on the playing show or when you click on the show,I have to click on 4 things and scroll too much just to watch the episode I wish watch! And say it starts on episode 1 when that's over and it auto plays next episode it doesn't go to the next one it skips episodes!. This is not worth the cost

Decided to try crave for the first time. I’ve had it for three days and I’m canceling it. More commercials than old ‘traditional’ tv/cable and constant error messages. I use Disney, Prime, Netflix and Paramount. I’ll continue with those but never try Crave again.

Can't access out-of-country... even to CANCEL
Subscribed. 2 days later, went to the US and was unable to use the service. No problem... can't access my subscription in the US.
Tried to log in to cancel my account and got into an endless loop of "choose language" and "select a few shows to tell us how to customize the experience" .... no way to access your account even to cancel membership. Got frustrated and gave up.
Got a 2nd month of charges (after not accessing my account the entire month). Tried again ... same issue. Eventually found their phone number... they wouldn't refund even though my account had zero logins the entire month and I called 2 days after the charge. CS team offered no solution or apology. Lost a lifetime customer.

My wife subscribed to the basic subscription but 4 ads is a little ridiculous, Crave is taking a monthly amount from us while collecting ad revenue! Plus for my tv show/movie to black screen with only audio playing is just stupid! I had to restart my app to be able to resume my entertainment and it’s not worth it to be honest!

Crave you need to chill! Cost for ad free streaming is actually abominable...and if you dont pay, have your remote in hand for when all those Ads start cuz that volume?!? WOW!!! I generally have my TV on a low volume to begin with but find myself fighting for my life scrambling to the remote to turn that volume down when the Ads start. Choosing my ear drums over Crave

This site is ridiculous. Even after getting the full premium subscription it didnt let me watch multiple tv series. They all still have little pictures of a shopping cart and cant be selected. Remembering this is with paying for the expensive subscription!! This site is full of shit !

Shitty Bell App. They have the audacity to tell me that my TV is too old to support. 2018 Samsung! Right now i am going to buy a new one, so Crave can support it. May be they are in the bussiness with Best Buy. Only keep away other american apps from the canadian market, useless Bell, i hope they go out of bussiness

Terrible streaming service half of the movies are in French and they don't have the best selection! I don't recommend this streaming service to anyone for $22 a month for one of the worst streaming services out there is why they have such low reviews

I have been a crave client for over 6 years on an annual plan and at the renewal date, they change my membership to monthly instead of annual. I have to call each time and ask for the monthly chrages to be waived. The agent repeats constantly the same verbage. Need to ask for a supervisor from Canada to call every year.

We are unable to stream anything because it buffers every five seconds. A scam. Owned by Bell, another scam. Impossible to get your money back once you have realized that you have paid for something you are not getting. Don't do it.

It will randomly give off an error and the ONLY way to get around it is to uninstall and reinstall the app. It stores way too much garbage on your device and the shows and the selection of movies and shows is mediocre at best. Everybody working at Bell should be embarrassed their company pumps out garbage like this.
9 ads within five minutes
9 ads within five minutes. At the eighth one it froze and didn’t start again. I turned it off.

Would rate less than 1 if possible. It’s nearly unusable. Everything was fine for months, but one day it had updated and signed me out and ever since, any show or movie can’t go 15 seconds without the visuals freezing but the audio continuing. This causes them to fall out of sync often. I already had wanted to cancel due to the quantity of ads an the insanely loud volume of ads compared to the actual content. Terrible service.

***Edited January 16,2026*** The BBB has closed my case as Crave TV failed to respond after many attempts. They have fixed the closed captioning issue on Roku devices. But the insane price for ad ad free tier -oops that doesn't exist anymore- I won't be back.
October 04,2025, I renewed my ad free subscription for another 6 months for $92.00 plus tax. No issues until about a week ago when ads started popping up on "My Crave". I paid for ad free and expected to NOT have ANY shows listed with ads. They are calling it "Bonus Content". Now when you look at subscription offers on their webpage, that Bonus Content w/ads is showing but did NOT show when i renewed my subscription. Since that is what I paid for, I fully expect removal of any show with ads from my account until the end of my subscription. The only way that ads should show is if I renew because now it states that fact. But paying for ad free and then getting ads is so wrong at so many levels.
Now on to technical issues if using Roku devices. Very recently Crave app updated on Roku for the better. They no longer cut of the endings of shows. It was a huge improvement. But they had to screw with the updated app a few weeks later. I turned it on one day and a forced closed captioned choice had to be made or you could not get back to any show until you chose. Note you CANNOT make this CC captioning to stay off. So each day the moment you turn on a Crave show, the captioning comes on and you can only manually turn it off.
End result was a fantastic update for only two weeks before they screwed it up and put ads in an ad-free subscription.
Outrageously slimy company
Outrageously slimy company. Be extremely careful about communications with them and with unsubscribing. Bit of a complicated history, but their customer would not stop the automatic renewal of the subscription. I spent hours trying to get the renewal cancelled as I had cancelled the subscription last summer. ANd replied to their renewal notice, even though it looked like a scam (found out later it is a no reply address). ANd SHaw had billed me for it for months as well as having a subscription and no one would refund me for the double billing. THen the cherry on top, customer service said enjoy next years subscription - the one they put through despite it being cancelled, and the one I spent hours fighting! ANd then the manager says thank you for your subscription.

I'm so close to ending my subscription. For this price I expect better performance. All the movies I want to watch are all in French. I don't know French. Now when I do try to watch a movie it's freezing every 10 seconds making it impossible to watch. I timed them. If things don't improve after the next payment I'm done with Crave.
Crave - Ridiculously excessive number of ads
I have a free Crave subscription for 2 years that came with my Bell account so I shouldn’t complain… But I will complain because of the ridiculously excessive number of ads for the base service. For example in a competitor base service I have maybe 1 or 2 ads maximum per episode. In an episode of a series I wanted to watch on Crave, I stopped at 16 ads… That’s when I decided that was enough… Was so frustrated my blood pressure went up… Well they’ve seen the last of me
