Echo the experience of others, delivery and customer service is not up to scratch. In my case 3 separate delivery dates were missed, and most I got in the way of an apology was an excuse from customer service blaming the driver and taking no responsibility. I suspect I’ll also get some sarcastic response to this review as they have done on others, and as they do via email.

Cancel delivery on date which pay for this.
Been calling them to confirm delivery but they cancel late afternoon day before staying the job.

On the end they said it's my bad 😞

This was the first time I ordered from Country Supplies and I was impressed. I can't give 5 stars because they changed the delivery date but in all other respects they were great. Two large bags of topsoil were delivered by a very helpful driver who used a forklift to dump them at the top of the drive rather than by the kerb, which saved me a lot of hard work. Their price, including delivery, was much lower than other suppliers I have used in the past.

A specific delivery date was given for goods and I workmen paid to be present to receive the goods .
They didn't arrive when requested and agreed .
I got a phone call at around 3.30pm to say the lorry driver had exceeded driving hours?- dont believe a word of it - no apology either -just that it will be delivered tomorrow sometime and sometimes stuff like this happens ! That's verypoor Country Supplies

Usually great, but for this order of 350M of tongue and groove for an internal studio, they delivered it uncovered on a day of torrential rain storms. I tried to dry them, but there's now wide gaps between each board. very disappointed they didn't take such a simple step to protect my quite expensive materials.

Excellent products, brilliantly clear website and superb communications with the team at Country Supplies throughout the process. A real highlight is the link with the transport team who 'phoned ahead to let me know when they'd be arriving, read the notes I left about reaching our house and then were polite and considerate all the time they were here. A big thank you for Donata and Jimmy for their great customer service with the deliveries.

Great experience from start to finish and was very impressed with George who went the extra mile. Would recommend this company for their fast and efficient processes and, it’s great to support a family run business! I did not visit in person, but received order pretty quickly.

Used these guys a number of times over the last couple of years. Website works well for most things - the delivery days it promises have always been met and they are quicker than most.
Delivery drivers are great - call when not sure, use their initiative and follow instructions. Can't say that for lots of other companies!
Service on both sites is great - really helpful when I bought everything for a patio last year and great in the shop too. This morning they took the time to check I'd used a particular product before, as yes it's very unforgiving.

The products are good quality and we have always been pleased with what we have gained. The main issue is delivery and accuracy of orders. We waited over 8 weeks for an order that was expected 6 weeks in and then when the order did arrive it was wrong. Whilst we understand human error the lack of interest in getting this right and overall customer service is poor. Nothing transpired. Dates were missed, at order you are asked type of delivery (forktruck/hiab) but that makes no difference. We asked for a forktruck given the type of order we had placed and in the end the items were left on our drive and caused us immense disruption - moving pallets of bricks by hand did not amuse our builders. Good products poor service so sadly would not use again.

Bought a bulk bag of Cotswold stones. Driver(sorry did not get his name) was really helpful and delivered it where I wanted it. I new straight away I would not have enough(I completely miscalculated how much I needed) so I joked with him I see him the following week, well it was the same driver and was once again really helpful. Would definitely go to Country supplies as my first port of call when doing my next garden project.

I only gave it two stars because the Soil arrived on time...Aside from that, I was looking for good topsoil for a new lawn, but nowhere on the item description did it mention the soil might contain weeds... My whole lawn is covered in weeds. I would not recommend buying topsoil for your lawn from these guys... absolutely terrible topsoil

First time coming to country supplies oakleaf site... was met by a lovely young lad called Adam who served me so quickly and was so friendly and polite... also very helpful getting all the goods into the car. Will definitely be coming again.

If we could give 10 stars we would! brilliant company.
We live down a small lane which is hard to deliver too.. but Dave was fantastic and so polite.

Great range of products with delivery drivers that could not be more polite, thoughtful and/or helpful. Outstanding.

Kirsty @Country supplies has been brilliant through our garden project, helping us choose decking, slabs & edging. Infinitely patient, nothing was too much trouble & everything ordered turned up as expected & was courteously delivered by their driver. Our slabs were held up in Italy, beyond anyone’s control but Kirsty kept us updated which was really helpful.

Thank you to country supplies especially josh who helped supply and put together the materials for the Holmer green jubilee gardens bridge project. Josh was very helpful and gave great advise. Thank you great service as always.

I have just taken delivery of 800 litres of topsoil and I just wanted to thank Gerald, the delivery man, for his help and kindness. I didn’t think it would be possible to get the sack over my fence but how wrong could I be. The forklift managed with no problem and Gerald then slit the bag a distributed the soil into my new bed. What a star. I would have no trouble recommending country supplies. They go that extra mile. Thank you.

Really disappointed with their after sales service. We had 2 broken slabs delivered and have been trying for nearly 2 weeks to get someone to reply to emails and issue a refund.
