First appeal was rejected by the VOA but luckily the 2nd review was dealt with swiftly by Rob and the team and we managed to get our RV lower than what it was previously so a great result overall.

This is a scam. Do not pay any money to this company. They will not get you any reduction in your business rates. Anybody who works for or represents this organisation should be ashamed.

Despite a bad experience from a previous approach from a different company, we were encouraged by CCS's clear information at the outset after they approached us. We decided to go-ahead with their recommendation (despite the previous experience) and everything was carried out as promised. Rob kept us informed and on-board throughout the process and have been very thorough. The crazy escalation of business rates is having an adverse effect on running any business - CCS do all they can to achieve the correct reduction putting a stop to the wrongful escalations.

This company scammed us last year and i would advise you to avoid using them.
There 5* reviews all look a bit iffy to me and in my opinion use them to bury the 1* reviews .
They sent a representative to see us who promised 100% that our business rates would fall below the threshold where we paid nothing this sort of comment breaches there contract which states business rates reductions are not guaranteed and also the code of practice they say they adhere to ( they may comment on this review but we have a witness to this conversation).
Last year they had a director expelled from the IRRV (institute of revenues, ratings, and valuation. Type in BETTER RETAILING CORPORATE COMMERCIAL SURVEYORS and read for yourself.

Corporate Commercial Surveyors has been handling my Business Rates adjustment claim since 2024. The case is still pending and being worked on by the team so I can’t yet speak fully to the outcome or recommend the company with conviction, but I can say that my dealings thus far with CCS, have been professional. The case handlers demonstrated themselves to be knowledgable and able to explain patiently and concisely the status of my case during the lengthy process where there can be months at a time with no news or visible progress. Where there was a disagreement in the handling of my case, the issue was resolved confidently and with empathy, and an agreeable resolution was reached in a timely manner (thanks particularly to member of the pre-escalation investigation team, James Mellish), which prompted me to write this review. I eagerly anticipate the resolution of my case.
