I would definitely recommend Dave if you have any troubles with your devices. my ipad developed a 4013 fault code, Went to the store they told me my ipad hardware is cruppted possibly by an interrupted update they tried to do a restore with the store's Macbook and got back 4013, and that was it. They said they could swap for a refurbished one £600. So I got in touch with Dave and dropped it round to him and repaired very helpful and knowledgable man many thanks, Dave

David collected and returned the phone on the same day and he kept me informed on a daily basis about the non standard iPad Pro battery delivery which arrived a couple of days later. The story of the iphone xs

My iphone xs decided to (for no apparent reason) die on me.It entered into an infinite loop of rebooting, apple logo , flash , apple logo , flash , apple logo flash - you get the picture.
I spoke with apple , they asked me to restore the phone , i did this on two different machines with the same result , they then sent me to my nearest store in watford an hour away. I was met with the usual ....
The apple "genius" tried to update the phone and reiterated the error i was getting - "THE IPHONE COULD NOT BE RESTORED .AN UNKNOWN ERROR OCCURRED(4013)
The "genius" told me that the phone needed a new motherboard however they didnt do this for my particular model. I was told it was just one of those things and steered toward a new iphone starting at £429. I left thinking my only option was to buy a new phone on contract which i didnt want but had no other choice, got home and searched locally for technical help.
Thankfully i came across Conway Comms and Dave, he asked me what error message i was receiving , and then said he'd seen a few of these before and thought he could solve the issue.

I dropped the phone into him and a few hours later it was ready to pick up , got the phone home and to my horror after ten minutes of use it reverted back to the infinite boot up of doom, the phone nearly got launched out the window but i contacted Dave , told him and he said drop it back , we will go again at no charge and if i cant fix it ill refund you - my type of customer service.

Next morning i got the phone back to him and collected it again a few hours later, it is working well - fully restored and i am now going sim only with my contract provider , Dave saved me money where as if it was upto apple id be walking around with a phone i didnt need and another phone in landfill.

if you are unlucky to get a iphone xs giving an ERROR 4013 then Mr Conway is your man , dont listen to the the self titled genius's in the apple store, save your money and go see a real life genius of an irishman in stevenage called Dave.

I smashed my screen on my iPhone 11 yesterday. I phoned Dave this morning at 9am. He collected the phone one hour later and delivered it back at 5pm. Repaired, and as good as new. He couldn’t have been nicer and more efficient. It was great value for money. I would recommend this guy to anyone. I had never met Dave before and I just can’t speak highly enough with regards his expertise and helpfulness. 5 star service without a shadow of a doubt.

Dave provided a rapid and friendly and competitive service when renewing the battery in our ipad air. From first contacting him on Wednesday evening, he collected it on Thursday morning and returned it to us on Friday afternoon.
