We have been using ConvertAPI to generate actuarial reports for our clients. The API is easy to implement and works flawlessly. It has simplified the document conversion process for us to a great extent. We also appreciate the cost savings we get with this product without any compromise on the quality. We looked for a few alternatives but they were either less responsive or less efficient and hence we highly recommend this.

Customer support did not respond to multiple reach-outs between May 27 and June 11, and they now appear to have stopped replying to me completely.

We are a software company and were trying to use ConvertAPI to convert PDFs into Powerpoint documents.

The only issue we had with their service was that the fonts embedded in our PDFs were not being used in the converted Powerpoint. I was told that normally you have to pay 300 EUR a month (a much higher plan than we otherwise need) to upload fonts, but that in my case they would add our two fonts on their "next system update" This was on May 27th. I continued to follow-up for the next two weeks asking for updates and got no responses. Finally on June 11, I was just told it would be installed on their "next system update" but that they couldn't give me any ETA. I pressed them on this because we are a software company trying to launch a feature, and needed some idea of the time frame. And so far I've gotten zero responses back from their support team.

Now we are probably going to have to switch to a different service. I would have rather they just told me "no" originally, as we've now wasted time integrating with their service and will have to rip it out and start over.

I like their api and documentation. Pretty easy to use and very self-explanatory

We use this service to provide our customers official documents. We work with it for three years now with no complaints. It's really helping us to manage one of our main services. I truly recommend it :)

Very useful and fast library. A little bit overpriced, but the diversity of services they offer is worth it

When looking for a service to handle all our automated PDF processing, we found out ConvertAPI to be the best service for us:

- The product does everything it promises and we are in control of what is happening ($)
- The clients (lib / sdks) are clean and very usable, we got tests running in minutes
- The customer support is super reactive and helpful, even when we were on the free plan

We looked for alternatives but they were either less responsive, less efficient / practical or simply not GDPR friendly.

I was looking for a way for my customers to let them add a watermark on their PDFs automatically, and on each pages. I first tried to develop this feature "in-house" but it was not performing well and then I found ConvertAPI! Not only their product is amazing and works well but their support guys are always here to reply any question I have. Thanks for building this product!

Found an issue with their API, which was fixed very quickly after a brief conversation with the support - even as a free user at the time - definitely a nice versatile API!

Definitely worth it!

First of all we didn't expect to have such easy integration. ConvertAPI's documentation was perfect, so we didn't have any questions while integrating it to our CRM system.
Second benefit of ConvertAPI is that it gives great product for a great price. We didn't think a lot when we found it and just became their customers. For it's benefits we couldn't find anything better.
Third is that when using ConvertAPI, while converting .docx files to .pdf files, we could offer overall better solution for our customers, because almost every customer of ours uses our automatic document generation solution for their contract, commercial offers, invoices and other documents.
Before using ConvertAPI we had custom solution for document converting. It did it's job, but it wasn't perfect, because sometimes it sort of corrupted files and after conversion, no pdf reader software could understand document's pages (it was like one huge page). With ConvertAPI we didn't have any type of problems and it did it's job way better than our custom solution.

We use convertapi mainly for integration with .NET and ease of payment. We generate PDF of DOCX documents for machines. Any conversion available in the API is excellent, we have tested some already.

I am using Convert API to convert HEIC images on my website to jpeg, since I want to offer the users the opportunity to upload files directly from IOS devices. It is very easy to integrate into your PHP script and works like a dream. I tried to find good alternatives for the HEIC to jpeg conversions, but only convert API with its great variety of offered file formats can do the job. Also, the customer support responds fast and is helpful. I would recommend this service to anyone who is developing a website which has to deal with files.

We wanted to allow our user to edit their contracts with Word and once this is done we need to convert the Word document into a PDF so the contract won't change anymore. We could offer this new feature to all our users thanks to ConvertAPI

At the beginning we tried to build our own conversion service but it required a lot of investments and time. So we decided to leave these development & server management tasks for ConvertAPI and focus on what's more important for us. We like that this API is so easy to set up and it is very reliable even if our usage grew massively over time.
